I'm using the same digger and the same modification to make it work and I've had no problems so far! Just take small bites with my bx ! I was given mine and had to repair the top link because the original had been bent and broken by a bigger tractor and inexperienced operator. Replaced the damaged part with some welding on f a new one and a new input shaft seal that was leaking $45 dollars later I had a new digger!
I bought mine 2 years ago. Only problem I have is NH has granite and glacial rocks. If you have good soil it works fantastic! Rocks really slows it down
I'm anxious to see you take it off and re install it being put together. The tripod may make it a breeze! In my experience it take to men and a boy to have enough hands to put it back on. :o)
Thank you! The sight hole plug was painted in and I could not for the life of me get it loose. So, I just filled it just short of the top. Probably the right amount either way 👍
Thank you! I used it this week. We have really hard clay and it pulled 3-5 inch rocks right out. Just have to go very slow and pull the auger out every time it starts to bog. Took some practice but I thought it worked great 👍
Top notch installation 🤙
"Notch"... I see what ya did there 😉 Thanks!!! 😁👍
I can't wait to it go to work. You got it for cheap!!! Great install video Sam see you on the next one.😁👍🚜💨☀
Thanks!!! I used it this week and it worked great 👍

That's awesome! I used it this week and it worked great! If we decide to put in fence, it'll be the easiest fence line I've ever done!

That's what I worry about getting one. I think I'll hit more rock than anything here!
I bet that granite would be impossible to get through. I used it this week and it worked very well 👍

It was very easy to take off. Maybe I should do a dedicated video to installing, operating, and removing it 🤔 Thanks for the idea 💡 👍
5/16 is the thread size not the size of the wrench it takes
Haha! You're absolutely right! Thank you 😁👍
Remove the plug on the side of the gearbox. Fill the oil until it runs out that plug. That is how much oil goes in it.

Well done install. I wish I could use a power auger on my property but there is too much rock and clay. Looking forward to see how it works for you.
