HEY T90, AOE was one of the first PC games I ever played when I was only 10, 21 years ago!!! It has shaped my whole being, and I still play off and on, more now since watching your vids. I found your channel last week and OH MY GOD! I must have watched about 6-8 hours worth of content already! I am so blown away that people play aoeII competitively, and that there is a dedicated current fanbase and scene, SO COOL! These players are fucking gods, the macro+micro is off the charts, this is basically the perfect RTS game.
I love your casting and it really brings the life into these games, I can't stop watching, thanks again!
Just checked out the Best Migration Ever, and you weren't kidding, it might be one of the best games of Aoe and actually any RTS I've ever seen (ive been a huge starcraft and warcraft fan as well) in many years. I Love any round where almost all the resources from a map are completely used.

What i realized about viper he has a n incrediable timing.Whenever he gets a chance abour riding , he moves one of his main armies forward and makes it like this the main fight.But actualy he raids somewhere else hardly.And he makes this so natural and so fluently u dont even realize it.Amazing.
The best thing about this BO21, 7 hour cast is that its the short version.

I never play AOE, I also rarely watch content for it, but for being a rare being that uploads long videos, you get a thumbs up, good sir.
Can someone tell me what is the best age of empire 2 package I can buy, I need to play multiplayer with the most updated version
The Steam version will be fine. It goes pretty cheap in sales along with the expansions. If you are new to the series and RTS in general, buy the base version which is the original game and the Conquerors expansion. It’s a good start and has enough to do with the content.
Once you feel comfortable and enjoy the game, get the expansions.
The Steam MP community is still pretty active with both games and mods. The Voobly community is also pretty active and is compatible with the Steam version.

The first few games were amazing, but I feel like DauT isn't a player that you can put in a BO21, he dosen't have the stamina of Viper. I would rather see a BO21 between Viper and Liery/Mbl, TaToH, heck even Vivi. The end was ultimately just boring to watch and it is truly sad.

are any of these maps on the steam version of the game?
Viper did some strange strategies and didn't play the best in some games for two important reasons;
Viper gets REALLY bored when he is ahead,
And he wants it to be worth it to watch, trying new things, losing a few, playing riskier for bigger wins. If he played like a robot, people would get bored watching.
I don't think viper wants to win everything 11-0. I think he wants to earn that $2k.
In my humble opinion, the best of 21 between Viper and Jordan has been the most fun and impressive ever. But this is awesome nevertheless. I dream with this skills.
Without DauT, TheViper is the best player.

Why doesnt players get walls to deny raiding? Is it a pride thing, ("Im good so I dont need walls"), or is it not good to do it for some reason?
This series was a showmatch so I think the players didn't want to play passive games. You almost always see full walling in serious tournament games.
Depending on the map, viper will often just rely on quick-walling and other defensive measures instead. Palisades are fairly cheap, but you're also idling 1 or more vills the whole time you're putting it down. If you legitimately don't need the walls, of course it's better to skip/delay them.
