Hey Glad to see you back !!!...I just love the traditional look to the canvas bags. I use for shorter trips the Italian Alpini ruck and put a dry bag on the inside because like you said good old canvas is pretty much bullet proof but not water proof. Looking forward to more vids brother !!

Very nice loadout and as ever ( you know) I really like your kit. That backpack looks like a german army backpack with some improvement! I can give you an idea, you can also carry the german army foldable mat instead that sit mat, it is made with the same purpose to using it also as internal frame. You will have a full length sleeping mat with approx the same weight. Cheers Mattia
I agree 100% on carrying extra food. Even if it's just some trail mix, jerky, granola bars... ANY kind of extra food. Why on Earth folks don't carry a little extra food and water, I do not know.
Nice layout. I see this was from 2 years ago. I just ordered this bag. Same color. How about a long term review if you still have it? 2 year to date showing the bag features up close? Not many videos on this bag oddly.

I have the waxed cotton version of the Duluth Rambler Pack......great pack.
I've been thinking about waxing this one . I'm taking it on a canoe trip in the Okefenokee Swamp next week .

I like that pack, I always thought their bags were waxed canvas for some reason. Great load out
loving me some outdoors Its a good bag . They offer one that's waxed in a natural/neutral color . I think its an option on the rest .

Hey brother this one is the thermarest . I have since switched to the Eddie Bauer one . It's 10x better !

Yes , very low . Honestly I really think they're made more for river portages
