A silicone intake pipe (middle section) from HPS will complete your intake setup. It provides improved throttle response while retaining stock air box.
That is the next mod on the list for sure! I saw somebody is selling a JoeZ pipe on ebay... I want it for the old school look but I figure the HPS is better since its silicone = less heat soak.
I'm new to this stuff so forgive my ignorance. Do I reuse the exhaust flange gasket that I take off the oem section? Or do I buy a new one and if so what size? thanks!
When I did mine there was just the big donut gasket at the flange that mates the mid-pipe and axle back I re-used it for the HKS. No leaks or issues so far. If its in good shape I think you should be fine to re-use it. Thanks for the view & comment! 😀
Yup, no AI voices here! I love how easy that air box on the IS300 is. Every time I change filters on the BRZ I have a tough time trying to get it closed back properly!

@@altezzadreams the wrx is a fight as well. my GTI was worse. the CX-5 isn't terrible but still not is300 easy
Are there 4 rubber hangers for this installation?
Yes, 4 hangers. 2 that hold up the muffler and 2 that are closer to the flange. I re-used all the stock hangers with no problems.
@@altezzadreams Hi, thank you for clarifying this. I appreciate it!
