  • This is a dynamic dolly, this video is the first time I bought this cart and testing how easy or hard it is to get it off the truck to the water , into the water and back out and back on to the truck. Very little editing to show a true review. I give this cart a 10 out of ten id buy it again for sure. The cart was upgraded to the beach tire conversion kit by Wheeleez so I can use it on soft sand and beaches.

    The most helpful thing about your video is showing that it can be unloaded directly onto the dolly, and loaded directly from the dolly. I notice that UA-cam videos about cheaper dollies do not do that (no need to guess why not). Thank you..

    I went with the Vevor boat dolly and saved over $400 bucks doses the same thing. I strap it to my bed extender and pull my yak up the ramp.

      Difference is that yours is carbon steal and salt water will destroy it in no time, mine is aluminum and will last a lot longer and is a lot lighter. But for the price you can’t beat what you got for sure

    I love my Dynamic Dolly!
    I had Boonedox Landing Gear on my Hobie Pro Angler 12. They were great, but it was a struggle (I'm a 70-year-old 275-pound weakling) hauling the Hobie up boat launches.
    The Dynamic Dolly made it much easier to pull. As you point out I strap the front of the kayak to the handle so the kayak doesn't slip.
    NOW I also use the Dynamic Dolly with my upgrade Hobie a Pro Angler 14 when I can't launch from the trailer.
    Great video! And like CheekyMonkey below, I recommend using quick release safety pins to speed up breaking down the Dynamic Dolly.

    this cart is the shizzle, change the wingnut bolts that hold the axle to the trailer arm for quick release safety pins and you can disassemble the whole thing in under a minute

    I have watched Greg Blanchard. He slides the yak out of the truck onto the dolly. Connected to the trailer hitch to put in and take out. May need to shorten or get rid of the bed extension pole.

    • @Anarchykayakfishing.
      @Anarchykayakfishing.  9 місяців тому

      I can’t do that tho my bed is 5.5ft long and the kayak is 200 pounds and 14ft long I have to have the extender so I don’t damage the kayak but I do slide it right off onto the cart. But i could have a ball plate welded to the bottom of the extension if necessary but honestly I shortened the cart and it balances out the weight so I don’t mind just walking it to the ramp or launch. To add a ball I might as well just get a trailer at that point which I may do that too and just use the cart for remote areas

      @@Anarchykayakfishing. I have the AP 120 I use a trailer and bed of truck to the cart. I saw another angler putting the yak on the trailer back in first, he then backs the trailer down and remotely drives the yak off. He then drives it back on the trailer back in first. I'm going to try that next. I have a bad back and heart.

      @@bbowen4629 you mean like he drives the trailer into the water with the trolling motor down then just uses the remote to power it off the trailer. Did I gather right ? If so that sounds pretty cool

      @@Anarchykayakfishing. Correct, the kayak is facing backwards on the trailer. He loads his motor and other gear on the yak. He backs the trailer down and uses the remote to drive off the trailer. Then the opposite when leaving. Backs the kayak on the trailer with the motor. I did see a video on UA-cam doing this.

    I have one of them as well, what you still need to do is buy the hitch so you can use your truck to back it in and pull it out of the water and I also mounted a winch in the bed of my truck so I don't have to lift my heavy kayak and what a game changer

    If you can get the wheels under the seat that will reduce the weight dramatically for when you move it

    • @Anarchykayakfishing.
      @Anarchykayakfishing.  Рік тому

      100% correct, only way to correct it is to buy a shorter cart the one I got is what they recommended for me. But what I do on long drags to counter the weight is to move the battery and trolling motor to the back and it offsets the weight completely and it’s nothing at all, at that point

    • @Anarchykayakfishing.
      @Anarchykayakfishing.  Рік тому +1

      I recommend emailing dynamic dolly, they have really good customer service and just tell them the model of your kayak and the specs and they will tell you what they recommend for you. They were really fast to get back to me. The model I have would more then likely be to long for yours and the tires would sit back far on your kayak making the drag weight pretty heavy. And yes I did a complete conversion kit from wheeleez they sell, it’s a longer axel and you pick the size tire you want based on the weight of your boat and equipment. The cart is super easy to put together takes maybe a half hour and your set!

    Why did you change out the tires on your dolly?

    • @Anarchykayakfishing.
      @Anarchykayakfishing.  Рік тому

      Because I fish primarily salt water and 90% of my places I launch are soft sand so I needed beach tires. The standard tires would have just sunk in the sand with my auto pilot and the weight of it

    I would think that if the wheels were not the inflatable type that you would be able to have the kayak floating a bit and jut push the cart underneath it.

    • @Anarchykayakfishing.
      @Anarchykayakfishing.  Рік тому +1

      Well yes that would be the case but I don’t know that they make none inflatable wheels for dolly I mean maybe sea tug wheels would fit on it but for me I have to have these style wheels for the soft sand at the beaches All I do is step on the cart frame and it goes right under and slides right on. The part where it got stuck was because my transducer was to low and I bought a new mount to fix that issue so now I just pick up on the bow slightly and it clears the strap no issues.

    • @Anarchykayakfishing.
      @Anarchykayakfishing.  Рік тому

      Yea this was just to test out the cart in a controlled environment where I had time to do everything not a lot of people. 90% of the places I fish don’t have ramps or you can’t get the truck to the waters edge so I just wanted to test out the cart see how it preformed where I had space and time to play with it.

    Mount a dumbbell on the axle so it doesn't float.

    • @Anarchykayakfishing.
      @Anarchykayakfishing.  Рік тому +1

      It would have to be a lot of weight because I use my foot to push down on it and you gotta use a good amount of pressure. Those tire offer a good amount of buoyancy. I’d say minimum 40 pounds if anyone was to do that. Now the only boat that it floating that poses a minor issue is any kayak with the transducer location where mine is that lip just catches. But over all after alot of use it isn’t really that big of a issue
