So when I was a kid, at the scene where you're sitting with Marin on the beach, I'd just leave the game sitting there so they could have this nice moment.

...I have never seen the easter egg at 10:22. The only way this dialogue could possibly be in character for Marin would be if she knew the cucco was gonna summon a mob of them to kick Link's ass as karmic retribution.
Vinny the artifact smashing sound was a sound effect added in for comedic effect for the review.
I think he found that out after this playthrough.
He knows, the cut just doesn't show that.
It's more of the fact that it gets smashed to begin with. Since it's supposed to have high value to picard

Link's Awakening still looks pretty cute, makes for a great cozy game. :)
Gotta say by the way, I absolutely love that pot breaking sound. It's almost like the Wilhelm scream, except not as obnoxious. Think the guys from RLM are self aware about its use in their videos, to a point where there are fan edits showcasing every time it was featured in their videos.
This game still hurts my heart even after playing it almost as much as Vinny said he did when I was younger. I still never finished the remake cause I don’t want it to end, even if I burst through the game in a day or two
If Nintendo did a Link's Awakening with Mother 3 I would definitely pay $60
@NanoPhoenix There is an Earthbound beginnings remake in the works called "Earthbound Encore" which looks pretty good.
The mother series are not a nintendo property. They are owned by Altus, I believe.

It's implied he's close to land if there are seagulls surrounding him. Seagulls only go out to sea to die.

I used to play Graal Online all the time in my much, much younger days; I even got to the point where I was making some art for it, drawing some clothes and faces, and I was even working on a suite of DBZ themed items, abilities, and weapons for a DBZ deathmatch mode I was working on for my server. My server then got deleted by the owner, destroying all of that world and the progress of all of its players, and Ive never ever played it again.
This is the first time I have ever heard a single person besides myself talk about Graal, and I am extremely staggered it was here.

Link could've left the last nightmare/monster alive weakening their influence on the island which wasn't that bad when you even had the other eight, and just chill with Maron forever. Or not play the eight instruments. With Link in the dream Ganon would be short a piece of triforce to make his wish. I mean he could probably still subjugate Hyrule though...
