Nanacy LT Hamilton you are absolutely great!!!! As a silversmith trained, I can deal with most projects involving silver, but GOLDFILLED has me whipped!! Even a simple bangle gets ugly and pink and though I can remove that copper, I would really like to avoid getting it in the first place..............
Advice please!!!!!!! or a link to someone who is familiar with dealing with goldfilled!!!!
    thanks,
    Kat

Hi Nancy! Thanks so much for the valuable education you given on your website and on UA-cam Channel. You are such and inspiration for me and make me feel that I can actually create something. With this being said, I am working on creating a poison ring and have created the ring shank and am in the process of filing down the tube I made , well trying to make to fit flush; however, I am just eyeballing the measurements and I KNOW there is a way for me to measure the curvature of the shank and transfer it to my tube, but can't figure out how to do this. Do you think you could make a video showing us how to do it correctly?

Hi, Nancy. I just love your tutorials and tips. I can't tell you how much they've helped me! I'd like to ask a question...Can you recommend a particular pliers strong enough to use making curlies and bending wire up to 9 gauge in aluminum and aluminum? I"m killing my regular pliers doing this. Thanks in advance for any recommendation you can offer. ❤

Are you talking about round nose pliers? Swanstroms are good pliers. But, at that gauge, I would think a jig would be best. Have you tried making a jig with wood and stout nails? You've got me thinking...I'll have to ponder for a while. If I think of anything, I'll make a video! Thanks so much. Good luck and watch out for carpal tunnel!!!!

@@NancyHamiltonJewelry Yes, round nose pliers, and I also meant to say aluminum and copper (and hopefully soon silver). I'm not exactly how to make a jig for my purposes--well, any purposes, for that matter! LOL. I mostly use the large gauge wire for making cuffs and soon to get into some necklace items. I've learned so much from you! Thanks for responding and I'll keep an eye out for a video if you make one. My husband brought a butane torch home for me today. I'm so excited!

Hola Beatriz! Me encanta. Muchas Gracias!
