Joe’s love for Joey is an awesome thing. A big part of that group’s success is that they are genuine friends to each other. We could all learn from that.
Lmao you know how many people he used to be great friends with on the podcast and isn't anymore. Learn how to be friends with someone from your heart not an entertainer.
@@ZaphnathPanea you have too much sugar in your diet. You need to let that anger in your heart out. I’m not sure on the people he was or wasn’t friends with, but you can enlighten us all. 👍🏻👍🏻
The fact that Joey Diaz is even a living, breathing person is INSANE in itself. AT BEST he should be a character in a movie, given all the stories, humor and charisma he oozes. That guy can say a simple sentence and I'll cry laughing.
I'm glad Tom brought up the fact that Joey and Ryan are basically covering Joey's life in chronological order. It's literally my favorite thing to listen to at work
It’s the best series of podcasts ever, I listened to them all in a row on a 15hr flight to South Africa, and even tho I’ve heard most of those stories on The Church and other podcasts they still work bc no one can retell a story multiple times like Joey
I've lost track of how many times I've listened to the Knoxville story told by Joey Diaz to Tom and Joe. What made it funnier though was listening to Tom's uncontrollable laughter with his head down on the table, pretty much in tears. Just thinking about it as I write this and I'm dying inside. It's classic.
“Shut the fuck up, Tom Segura.” “…Ok.” gets me every time I see this clip. I love how Diaz uses people’s full name when talking to them. Add in Tom’s mimicking that classic Diaz voice, and it’s just gold. 😂
Love how when Joe talks about joey he looks to the heavens, he knows how impactful he’s been to him over the years, and when he’s gone no one will come close to being how joey is, long live coco
Yeah you can really tell when he has people other than bert on the podcast you can see how he tries to ask the right questions and keep the conversation flowing similar to how rogan does on JRE
He's definitely one of a kind. His energy is second to none. You guys speak about him being the only one that can do what he does and that's a true statement. He's genuine and authentic, and with so many stories the guy is a top tier comedian. Being friends with him has got to be special. He's gone so far and came a long way. He won't bs a single soul because he doesn't need to. He's been all the way to anywhere and can tell a multitude all about it. When the floor is his, so is the rest of the room. That's Joey Diaz for you.
“Found out how to be the guy in parking lot on stage…” That was the most perfect breakdown of his on stage charisma 🤘🏼 Diaz Army 💪🏼 Nick and Nate should make Joey an honorary general in the Daiz army lol
There’s a 30-35 minute stretch in that episode where Tom and Joe are just laughing as Joey holds court telling stories about taking a shit, farting, getting a blowjob at a comedy show, and meeting Shirley (succa la mink). Probably the funniest podcast episode I’ve ever listened to.
I loled the most when he told the story about the Italian guy that was cheap since he would go across the other store since the soda was like 5 cents cheaper and the pizza shop owner thought he was Jewish. “Tony you fucking jew!”
It’ll be a sad day when uncle Joey leaves us but he’ll never truly be gone! These guys and everyone that knew him will have stories about him for ages 😂
I agree with Joe on that last bit. Sometimes going out on friday and saturday just feels like too much, and going to a show on sunday feels more relaxed. I definitely wouldn't think less of a sunday crowd.
On the "you can't get fired" note... when I was promoted and had a new sales manager, I spent over a year knowing I am unorthodox and in fear of being fired. It wasn't until I smoked a bowl with my boss outside a hotel, and then later on he came up to my room and drank whiskey with me before we had to be up and going in the morning, that I knew he was okay (maybe not happy, but okay) with me going about the job differently. I see that he hates that I can do what I do, but I hit my numbers and he has only once told me he was disappointed and I actually had a good reason that was unrelated to my shenanigans. Anyhow, once I realized I probably couldn't be fired, It made me embrace me and anxiety was gone... which made me perform better.
Yo, Tom and Joe. You are the best. By the way, you’re the best partly because you brought Joey Diaz to the rest of us. Kudos to both of you for recognizing that talent. Kudos to both of you for having that talent. Outstanding, keep on doing what you’re doing and THINKING! Outstanding!!

The fact that they do such good impressions of Joey is tremendous
Fuckin tremendous 🤘🤣🤣
Joey just sounds like Tom’s dad
