Oof. Rounding down made me get choked up with tears almost immediately. When I lengthened my spine, I felt like a sailboat, and my breath felt like the wind in my sails. It felt like, even if things get stormy, I can float.

I had found this out by practice, tackling breathing problems when too stressed. I also started exercising with kettle bells to strengthen my weakened back muscles. I also corrected my back posture while driving and unconsciously carried away into unpleasant memories. Thanks for sharing the info.

I can not afford counseling, and this has been exactly what I need to help overcome fight or flight. fight or flight from PTSD triggered lyme and viruses I already had in my body, and has made me extremely ill, intern causing more anxiety and making it very hard to stay out of fight or flight. I have been experiencing chronic pain in my neck & shoulder for over a year. Did they steroid injections, no relief. Physical therapy helps, but after 4 wks I quit going and do it at home {I have 6 bulged cervical disk..inward} When in flared up really bad my anxiety and stress get the best of me! I panic on the inside which tightens muscles making it worse.} I have been trying relax and get my muscles to loosen. It's horrible, but I intend on correcting my posture. I have lost so much weight because I am not comfortable sitting or laying in one position for very long...so I try to stay busy. I am just recovering from Rona too! This year is kicking my butt. My youngest son graduates HS this year.....I have physically felt bad the entire school year. Thankful for your videos🙏 You are appreciated ❣️

Good. When you start exercising specifically do ab work outs AND back workouts. I use to be overweight and I noticed it was hard to stay upright and proud not do to attitude anymore but do to a weak back and core. Once you get them tuned up it will be easier to maintain. You got this man!

I laughed out loud trying to say "I'm sad" while upright. 😂 I've been applying your techniques to my daily life for about a week and am noticing a shift in my level of baseline groundedness and calmness. I'm also "catching" the moments where anxiety sneak in and handling them more skillfully. Life was chaotic before then. Thank you so much for making this information so accessible. Looking into your Udemy course now!

Hi. I would like to try your course please. I am going through a rough time of exhaustion and anxiety. Probably due to burn out at work.
The executive functions you describe in another clip are definitely switched off. And have been for few weeks now.
A very scary, depressing and frustrating feeling.
Was on anti depressants a few years ago, and just restarted few days ago, in hope will boost serotonin again.
Really need some regular guidance to get back to my former self.
Am a charity worker dealing with cancer patients.
Currently feeling so depleted, i can't help much. Work badly affected. Feeling very useless.
Fear won't get back to normal. Just get worse.
    Thank you.

While it of course feels physically pressured on the spine and more constricted for breathing while hunched over, I tried but couldn't detect even the slightest emotional/mood difference between when I was hunched over or when I was straightened up or anything unusual when saying the mismatching emotional phrases in the two positions.
I'm constantly trying to straighten my back naturally, because I work at the computer and have a tendency toward bad posture. I've never noticed it affect my mood, including when I'm in a less than positive mood.
Is it unusual to not feel any emotional difference with this?
P.S. Thanks for your videos, a lot of good information and reminders.
