DUDE. That fj run segment was teets laroo!!😂 My wife and I were laughing with joy. The NFH2 is looking great. Your front fenders are fantastic . The CJ is also coming along nicely. That new wooden bed is clutch. The OG paint job is nice, but imo: Matt can take it to the next level. ❤
That running footage with the music was missing a lion or a giraffe suddenly jumping out of a bush 😂 Dunno but that was the vibe it gave me! Looks amazing.. like the real thing!
I go the opposite direction. I’m a world class procrastinator. My real 1993 ranger still sits on my driveway when I parked it 15 years ago. I swear I’ll get back to it someday.😂

That ranger is looking good 👍.. I think the red is pretty good on the jeep BUT a nice classic root beer with the (yellowish stripe, I think) would look freakin great (especially with that wood bed) ( and I'd also stain the bed darker)

The FJ40 footage was cool, although it doesn’t look as good as my FJ40 , still fun to watch 😂. Sometimes the rigs that aren’t as capable are more fun to drive , my RC4WD rigs for example. Anyway, keep doing what you do Matt , one of the best channels out there 👍

It’s a toy..😜 I too like the basicness of the FMS FJ40.. mine is yellow too, and are receiving some Camel trophy treatment as well as leaf springs as we speak - Can’t help it me either, even as a Land Rover owner and somewhat fan - that yellow is very Camel.. so there we go 😁

The ranger build is looking really good, definitely a cool build. I’d paint the cj jeep myself, but what kills it for me is the black plastic pieces on the body and doors covering the body. I’d take them off and do a golden eagle cj or a laredo cj version with it, but that’s me though. Great work though I’m trying to get my slammed square body c10 project finished up now, but it’s dragging along.

There's a few reasons why the twin I beam suspension was only used for a few years. They are actually pretty terrible. I get they are different for the rc world but the Short arm long arm suspension is far superior to the twin I beams in performance
I say repaint the cj . From day 1 i hated the over branding of axial logos on every square in of it. Also be cool to make it unique and ur own . 3d printed tube doors always look cool on cj's . After watching the run fvid from the other day the only literal hang upbit had was that front stinger bumper killing the approach
It’s your truck to decide if you want to paint it. I assume you picked the red colour in the first place? Definitely not the colour I choose. The red would make a reasonable rust base if you painted the outside? But then again it is to bright and maybe my choice of grey will look better when scratches show through. You could of course paint it and never run it again ?
Hell yeah catch all! You always do great running videos. How many leafs are in the pack for the land cruiser? I leaf sprung my Mashigan but it doesn't bounce around near as much.
The FJ looks great bouncing around. New stickers for the CJ would make it more personal, but I'd really like to see a metal bumper and something done to the black front fenders
Great episode Matt. I like the Fun Haver 2 better than the Proline Ranger body but there is a place for both depending on what the build is for. Yes change the paint color on the Jeep. ✌🏼

You have the best channel for this stuff! That being said, do you have any videos on how the leaf springs go on the FJ40? Ive spent 2 hours just trying to figure out how the FMS leaf spring kit attaches to the axels with supplied parts, thought they were a bolt on kit but seems like theres just too much crap on the axels and too much in the way on the front axels to make them work. Of course they don't come with instructions and I seem to be the only one out there that cant figure them out, I haven't been able to find a good video anywhere that shows the process in installing them. Anyway, thanks for all the cool projects, keep it up.
Hmm, I remember having to go through a bunch of trial and error myself. I'll see if I can put together a little demonstration for you in an upcoming video.

@@scalebuildersguild Hey man thanks for the offer of a video on the leaf spring conversion but if you haven't already started it then you can save your time for something else. I believe Ive figured it out, I was looking at it all wrong and didn't realize that the control/suspension links all had to come off as well as the brackets on the axels, now it seems pretty straight forward. reds to common. while its good. its not a SBG style paint job. look up the Jeep Golden Eagle - i think its a cj5? but you could modify it a bit to make it your own! could be cool! Golden Moose! or Golden Goose!
