GT5 on ps3 drag races on indy or what was the track called on the straight .... those times will never be back ghosting for start ... unforgettable times
GT5 on PS3 was legendary, the drag racing lobbies were lit. I mean FWD, RWD, AWD lobbies etc. I think we have a good chance of having that again with Gran Turismo 7.. We're in the infant stages with this game... imagine just a couple months from now..

Dude seriously. I'm also loving the ability to use signal lights and headlights as well. Forza got pretty lazy with adding new features like these that could have really made the game better but Horizon 5 literally just feels like an extended version of Horizon 4. Hopefully moving forward they start doing more with the Horizon and Motorsport games

Gt sport had the same thing. I just dont think enough people complained for them to do anything about it. I honestly think Nostalgia plays a big factor on the general reception for this game. But in reality, i thinm they could have done MUUCH MUCH more. Especially in the performance parts side of things. And honestly, the rally mechanics and lack of a damage model just kinda gets grazed over in most reviews, though if NFS or Forza pooped on either of those things, people would say it's unforgivable. What this game needs: -A roulette system that is ACTUALLY fair -More cars that people actually want to drive and tune! (Pulsar GTiR, WRX STI Spec C RA-R, Omni GLH, FD2 CTR, Eunos Cosmo, C5, C6, C8 Corvette, mk4 GTI, BMW clownshoe... i can keep going). -the way boost kicks in is completely unrealistic, NFS Prostreet did it better. -Carbon Fibre can only be applied as an entire body paint option.... but you can't use it to paint ANYTHING ELSE. So if you want a carbon fibre hood, you have to paint the whole car CF, then decal everything except for the hood the paint colour you want.
@@RandomlnternetGuy For clutch you need a proper H shifter in this game, you can't fake it with a sequential shifter - or rather it's hard af, it sometimes stays neutral. As for the sound, the people with just sequential have auto clutch mode which sounds like it's slipping, you can see it activating your gas power with a red background just like when ABS is working on the brakes. If you want to hear what it actually sounds, release the gas when you are shifting (sequential or not).

The turbos spool too linear, the should be a little more jumpy right before full boost, especially if you're slamming back on full throttle between gear changes. I drive both a turbo diesel that hits full boost at 1950rpm and used to drive my buddy's bugeye wrx wagon a LOT before he blew it up and my uncle's big turbo 1st gen audi TT (spooled slow af and honestly wasn't all that fast 🤣). Just my opinion, could use some tweeking and seriously go back and play NFS prostreet. The boost mechanic in that game was actually VERY well done.

graphics, landscape environment and map looks dope, sound good too, but to have been perfect, cars shouldn't coming from another direction ( 0:22 almost hit you ) and i saw some laggy shit at 0:08 ( the nissan 350z ) and it would be perfect.
I love this game so much. These lobbies are life, it reminds me of GT5 on PS3. Truly amazing.
