@@d-rose8167 Sadly you can't simply buy different engines, and each engine is only compatible with 1-3 other cars (ex. you can put a C7 Vette's engine in the ND Miata/Roadster or a Supra's in an Silvia S15, but not much else).

It is on PS4 too, and it is still HD 60fps on the PS4. Even all the reviewers are extremely impressed at how identical the PS4 version is with the PS5 version graphically.(physics are the same). The only thing PS4 is missing out on is an extra rain FX option and ray tracing for replay mode. That's it. The graphics look amazing and the same almost on PS4 as the PS5. I was worried that codemasters would pull a rockstar/GTA V by "downgrading" the next gen version of the game to get extra money from both generation console players.(PS3 and PS4 at the time). Because when rockstar did GTA V for both gen consoles.....the PS3 version was total crap terrible graphics, no first person, wayyy less features and ONLY 30 FPS! Meanwhile the PS4 version was a lot better than the PS3 it STILL didn't look like a next gen game at the time and everyone was mad they didn't just make it for the PS4 so it could look better. Because rockstar said if they made GTA v just for the next gen that it would look so good that downgrading it to be playable on PS3 would not be worth it and it would look terrible. But no, rockstar downgraded GTA V in the graphics and gameplay instead of just making it a 100% next gen game, so that way they could release it on PS3 and PS4. But instead of doing that rockstar would rather the game look less good on ps4 so they could still release a acceptable PS3/360 version too. But yeah, anyway. Most of the engine sounds in this game are still pretty bad. There is no reason why they can't be better, Especially the upshifts and downshifts. I purposely avoid driving certain cars because of how synthetic they sound.

Lol GT1/GT2 menu sounds were mostly techno/industrial, at least in the PAL regions (not sure about NTSC), but quite different from modern GT games.
