You should search Mark McCann on UA-cam. He drove his Lamborghini Sterrato very aggressively off-road on his personal rally stage and sent it off a very large jump. Never say never.
Not the prettiest Huracan (a least to my eyes), but it's kind of funny how a bit more sidewall on the tires and softer/higher suspension make this more of a GT than supercar in some ways. Kind of like how a Ferrari Purosangue is supposedly "the fastest Ferrari over unfamiliar roads". AWD and some suspension compliance aren't inherently evil. Enjoyed your take on this one, thanks.
$16k for white paint? $26k destination? With every car sold out, then Lambo can make up whatever price they want for the options game to keep those collector customers happy with high starting prices and assist with its appreciation. I doubt anyone who bought one with money that took brains to earn would have ever paid that. Anyone who did has more money than brains.
Tecnica is the best car they’ve ever made if you ever plan to track it occasionally. But if you’re never going to track it, the Sterrato is the best Huracan…seriously. More sidewall on the tires and more suspension travel makes this the best riding Huracan ever. So much so that I’d have no problem dailying one or taking one on a cross country trip.
I don’t know who the guys are but on UA-cam I see the rich guys who have these beating the absolute crap out of them and these cars actually holding up. It’s a guy on UA-cam up in Utah goes ham on his and some guys who take them out in the desert in California and the cars holding up so nice job Lamborghini even if I can’t afford one I can still appreciate the entertainment value of the videos
@@MotoManTV Will do. The 1962 Triumph Italia 2000 Vignale coupe was pretty amazing too (no, I'm not that knowledgeable, just took a picture of the card he had on the driver's seat 😉 ). Good to see you at the Petersen today.
Thanks George and greetings from the Rocky Mountains and the first snow!! Excellent MM delivered info as usual. I had to put the Targa away for the winter and my Porsche AD wont give me a Dakar build slot for less than 150k over (we know that's not gonna happen) so I'm done until the spring. Enjoy that California sunshine, the canyons, and that oh so cool new GT3 this winter!!
Had no idea they were going for that much over . . . even some of the dealers here in LA are less than that. That said, my dealer only got one or two allocations. Enjoy the nearby skiing!
405k with 200miles on Bringatrailor last week, and I'm into the '17 Targa for 120k lol so you can see how I feel about the upgrade... ugghhh We ski right out our back door with the Malamute on harness and she is raring to go!!
I don't really like modern Lamborghini design. I think they 're trying too hard to look outrageous. But for some reason, I think this one is pretty cool. Probably not an off-road vehicle but this off-road package probably makes it more usable on the road.
In defense of your first point, I live on a dirt road and would enjoy the off-roady bits. Small matter that the car is priced near enough the same as my house. Don't come at me with these details. 💰🙌
I can understand why Lambo would charge the MSRP of a well-equipped Honda Civic to airship this car considering they're probably a little skittish after what happened to the Felicity Ace. 😱😬😩😏
People won’t take these off-road *but* they will take them a. down country roads and b. on snowy/icy winter roads. The 911 Dakar and Huracan Sterrato are perfect for people with gravel driveways. Spec the painted trim not the black cladding.
A review of a vehicle no longer for sale isn’t a first but for this Lamborghini I believe it is. Nice to see it off the circuit the media drove it on and in Motoman Canyon. With the playing field now the same it’s an unexpected reporting of the character of the drive. #accutateanalysis 13:32
Not a car i would be interested in but i´m sure there´s a bunch of people with enough money that would love to drive it and own it for quite some time. I think it will be one of those classics 30 years from now that will be extremely valued so maybe is not a bad strategy after all. About talking to politicians. Well, car makers are doing so for a really long time but, at least here in the eu, they are so incredibly closed mentally and incompetetent outside their domains that i think is a lose-lose situation. They live in their bubble and only seem to move when they see something is crashing. Last 4 years are full of examples, from the virus, debt, etc... Go wonder what they even think or care about these days.
Spot on analysis, Javi . . . My frustration levels are at an all time high with the gross negligence (and incompetence) in those running our respective lands . . .
@@MotoManTV Yes indeed. A couple days ago the BCE leader said she didn´t regret any of the monetary policies of the last years. One starts to think if they do it in purpose at this point.
Built for collectors not really for its off-road or rugged use. I saw an orange one in Toronto recently and it is one fugly car. Should be re-named Lamborghini Huracan Wilderness.
Sorry MM. I was all set to buy this Huracan, but since you didn’t jump it over any sand dunes like in episode 1 of your show, I don’t have enough information about this vehicle to make an intelligent purchase. Therefore, I have put down a deposit on a new 2024 Miata instead.😢
Motoman do you feel outdated with this review? Because Lamborghini didn't invited you to the official launch. Instead you had to wait for your local dealer to get one so you can beg for a test drive. What happened. I thought you were the Motoman
I live in Canada. Every winter is off road here, and I'd drive it almost every day. After all, I do that with my C8 Corvette now.

Of course he did. He's a UA-camr. MM was talking about the other 1494 car owners lol.
Came here for the Mark McCann comment 😂
And McCann will end up flipping (as in reselling, not rolling over) it and that bit of insanity will pass as provenance. 🤣 Crazy world.
