I got an ASUS tablet, but it is Fonepad 7, and it can't charging, my uncle tried to repair its port, and it still can't charge. Can you explain on how to fix the problem?
Thanks my friend! Mine batteried was secured well and the connector was in place but i was still received the question mark. I had to retighten each of the 6 pins of the battery connector, problem solved! (y)
When I am starting my Asus fonepad 7 it's showing a USB symbol and a white underline under it behind is a black background.. I have tried all solutions like power button and volume button also I have tried reconnecting battery after removing it.. Still not working.. Plz help
My zenpad 10s won't charge and it showed an exclamation point in the tiny battery icon in the top right hand corner. This is a great tablet and I'd be bummed if I can't fix it.
Been thinking about getting a budget tablet, under $250, and have narrowed it down to the Asus ZenPad S 8 or the Nvidia Shield K1. On specs alone, the ZenPad seems like the better choice and I like to 4:3 screen ration, but I have heard of it having charging port problems or just dying after after a few months. The K1 has the monster CPU and it gets Android updates. I'm leaning towards the K!
Hi sir. I have and old android tablet. it looks like the tablet on your other video that is not charging or switching on. Also when i opened it I saw that the battery melted.. (it looks melted in the inside. it also gotten soft) I have removed tha battery and tried using another battery. it is still not charging or even turning on... do you have any advice?? thank you
Nasri Abdulsabur When you plug in the charger, measure the voltage on the battery connector. It should be higher with the charger plugged in between 4 and 5 volts. Good luck!
frankgon4 On your travels if you come across a small computer repair shop, Im sure they will open it for you and reconnect the battery for a small fee. Good luck!
@0:42= and what if we don't HAVE a "fancy pry tool"??? that's what I've been searching 1/2 hour for a video online, to find out HOW the hell to remove the cover! an actual video demonstration!!! aaauuuggghhhhhhh
alwaysafix - I don't own a guitar pick, and I'm not about to spend even MORE money on something on eBay, then wait for a week for it to show up *lol -- but I actually managed to pry the case open myself with a razor blade believe it or not! and it was exactly as predicted: the battery had worked itself loose and gotten disconnected!
Hi, Is it possible to directly charge the battery of asus fonepad 7 fe 170cg directly without going through the charging pin connected to the board?
Would it still work if I didn't do anything and just left it to charge overnight ?
Do you have any tips on how to open it? I have an Asus Memo 7 and its pretty hard to open. Thanks!

+Winter Frost328 So it's working?
same problem with my asus zenfone 2 laser
krishna kumar same problrm
Oh no, just done this.. took the back off and the whole screen cracked :'(
Donna Jordan Unlucky. For people reading this comment, use plastic prying tools to separate the back cover.
I wish you wouldn't have filmed this in the dark - I can barely tell what you're doing :(
DJMichaelAngelo To avoid further damaging your device you should get someone with technical experience to help you out. Good luck!
alwaysafix - I did, and his name is me :) I ended up fixing the problem on my own, thank you very much
DJMichaelAngelo Happy days!
I have an ASUS
