Great video. I did rotors/pads on my 2017 with about 93000 miles. Pads had quite a bit of material left. Easily could have lasted 100,000 miles👍

    Hi!
I’ve been researching how to replace the pads and rotors on my own, but don’t seem to see any guides for newer RDX models. I own a 2019 RDX. Would it be the same exact steps as the older RDX models?
I understand this is a tutorial for an MDX but would it maybe be the same for other Acura models?

Most brake job are similar. Hondas and Acuras are very simple. Your RDX would have similar procedure to the MDX.

Awesome video. I Will try changing my wife’s 2016 mdx. (First time trying brakes) What brand of brake pads and rotor did you use? Thx

I bought the parts from Autozone. You do not have to buy the most expensive parts but don't buy the really cheap ones either.

Do you know if the stock pads are ceramic? Thanks for great video!

I don't know for sure but if I was to guess, I think it would be semi-metallic.

@@OEMEangg : I’ve only had my 2017 a couple of months and I have very little dust buildup on the front rims which is why I was hoping for OEM ceramic. Hate that semi-metallic dust buildup on the wheels. Thanks much for your reply.

Bought it from a local auto shop called Autozone. You can buy it from Autozone, Pepboys or O'Reilly Auto Part.
