Front Brake Rotors Replacement | 2018 Acura MDX

- The 2018 Acura MDX front rotors are warped and are making so much vibration during heavy or sudden braking situation. Before our trip to Seattle this summer, I have to take care of the issue for my family's safety during our trip to the US. This happened twice in the past 4 years and always at the same place on our long drive to Vancouver. It is always happens going down the Coquihalla Highway. I usually enjoy a more spirited drive going down this nice winding mountain road, but due to riding the SUV hard it is causing my rotors to over heat up and warp.

Too bad I don’t have a video for the rear brakes just yet. The only different will be is the handling or the unwinding of the ebrakes in the process

I have the same problem vibrating down hill. Dealer already resurface it once.
I think Oem rotor not good enough, need something more durable if available after market

Yeah you’re right but it’s warped bad I’ve already resurfaced it once a but warping came back
What you need to buy is the ventilated rotors that will help with the rotor warping problem.

@@JNBTuning thx for confirming. Been dealing pulsation and trying narrow this down to the actual rotor. Some older mdx videos showed the guide pins with the rubber tip on the bottom which was confusing.

What were the torque specs on the caliper mounting bolts? If you remember. Thanks

Where did you buy the rotors beside from dealership?
You can buy them aftermarket from your local auto part stores or online. In NA my go to for some parts is Rockauto.com
Never buy any extend warranty when you buy a new car , is all BS
