With all due respect, a NFL player won't last 10mins ina rugby game, This is just different
Current rugby world cup champions!🇿🇦🇿🇦
Winners of 3 tin arses
@@JaemanEdwards correction. 4 tin arses
@@roycep1737 Nah one world cup was actually fairly legit
@@JaemanEdwards aww so sour, cute
@@roycep1737 I'm not sour. Just telling the honest truth. Everyone already knows this. Especially the last one. That was the biggest tin arse in rugby history. The Springboks were never gonna beat this All Blacks team unless they were a man down for 50 minutes.
And it happened..
As far as the athleticism, keep in mind, the game is 80 minutes long and the only significant stop is halftime, like soccer. In most of those clips, the players had been running around, giving and taking hits for half an hour or more!
Clarkson: "Rugby Is A Bit Like American Football, Only It's Played By Men"
NO DOWNS! That's the most basic thing to know coming from NFL. Play is continuous until someone scores or infringes and causes a penalty.
The rules after a tackle are quite complicated, but the basics are:
- Tackler has to let go of the ball
- People can only play the ball if they first push the other team off it. Only players on their feet can participate in this mini wrestling match.
At 14:37 the defending player number 2 managed to get over the ball and stop the attacking player from releasing the ball, this caused a penalty and got the defending team out of jail.
that little tug of war you saw.....they call that a Scrum
forward passes aren't allowed. it just looks that way from the camer angle. it's either flat or backwards
I came here to mention that lol
"Look at that face!" Eben Etzebeth. Probably got out of the bed the wrong side that morning.
He probably didn’t go drinking the night before, and let off the steam, lol
@@cporcmilk8350 I do hope BT is not too severely punished. Rugby, sports in general, needs these superstars.
Legend !
Eben is a fokken monster
Scrum - the 8 forwards from both teams pack down in a formation. In the front row #1 to #3 (prop, hooker, prop). Second row #6, #4, #5, #7 (flanker, lock, lock, flanker), at the back, #8 (eight man). The idea is To push the other team off the ball. If the ball goes out of bounds, the game restarts with a Line Out. The forwards jump to compete for the ball. The Locks and the Flankers are normally the tallest players in the team. It is their job to take the ball in the line out. In rugby the number denotes a position. Not a specific player. The object is to ground the ball behind the oppositions try line. This is called a Try (5 points). The. The scoring team attempts to “Convert” the try by kicking the ball between the posts for 2 more points. You can also kick a “ Penalty” for 3 points, or, a “drop goal” for 3 points.
You move the ball forward by carrying the ball, passing the ball BACKWARDS to a team mate, or, by kicking the ball forward. When you kick, all the players on your team that were behind the kicker are allowed to chase the ball and to compete for possession.
Hop that helps a little.
New sub from South Africa 🇿🇦. Our blood is green
rugby doesnt have downs, we have rucks. when a player goes down an offside line is set, the first player at the ruck(if its an opposition player) is allowed to challenge for and steal the ball otherwise you can ruck over and try and win the ball.
No downs in rugby brother
Hey, the Bokke are the 4 time World Champions. More than all other teams. The Bokke won 50% of all the Rugby World Cups they've played in. They go HARD
Edit: Also, there are no down times in Rugby. The ball is live until someone does a knock on, or gets a penalty, or the ball goes off the field. Otherwise, ball is live
The Springboks are the biggest tin arse merchants in rugby. Everyone knows this. Their rugby is boring ugly and negative.
@@JaemanEdwards This is what everyone says when they lose against us, yet two of the games the boks played in the 2023 World Cup were labeled as "the best games in Modern Rugby in decades". Y'all are just salty and have nothing to fault the Bokke on, so just to make yourselves feel better about constantly getting dunked on by a "third World African" country, you guys just make sh.t up like, "ugly and negative Rugby", as if that phrase means literally anything
@@thenomad47 Everyone says it because it's true. The Springboks never ever win in style. They're just ugly like your country.
@@thenomad47 Everyone says it because it's true. The Springboks are ugly like their country.
Boring🤨🤣? You must be seeing wrong
bro you gave me an emotion i never had.. sayin they athletes but pads makes a diffs lmao i wasnt as angry while i laughed so much so thx for this vid
Fun fact about the Eagles - they brought in a Scottish rugby coach to help coach them on the tush push.
New sub, loved this reaction🇿🇦 looking forward to more Rugby🙌 There are many epic rugby players from all countries, I have only two requests. Cheslin Kolbe - The Ultimate Athlete is an awesome highlight video to watch🇿🇦 😁 If you would like to see the GOAT of rugby then Jonah Lomu- New Zealand All Blacks team. He was and always will be the GOAT. and yes I say this as a Springbok supporter😊
Jonah Lomu was never my GOAT. One trick pony comes to mind. Poor defender, no kick game(didn't need one I guess) and didn't link well with support as he had poor passing skills.
I have Beauden Barrett as the GOAT. Has all the skills, scores tries, kicks goals, master passer and kicker, extremely quick, and stout defender.
All true. Jonah Lomu was a formidable opponent, but again the AB’s are a formidable team to come up against and just about the only other big team I respect at this current moment🇿🇦
The guys name is Eben Etzebeth and he's an absolute Berzerker. He learned that from Bakkies Botha, Who was a maniacal brute.
"that menace"is Eben Etzabeth, one of the worlds current best players
That tug of war was a scrum
it´s always a pleasure to listen to Amis explaining the world what´s stupid....
We c SOUTH AFRICA we subscribe with love from South Africa our blood is green with a touch of gold 🇿🇦
Check out Eben Etzebeth the enforcer🇿🇦
11:26 Makazole Mapimpi he grew up with no family and when the players could put their family on their number on the back everyone put their families but Mapimpi only put himself on his number. DEEP
Welcome to the toughest most beautiful game in the world.
First Rugby team to hit 4 World cup wins
And second to win the Web Elise world cup twice in a row
🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
What's up Man?!!
I'm telling you that I can't wait for the NFL season to kick off. Now I know you're an Eagles fan but I don't hold that against you. 😉 😆
I just really dig your reactions. So good luck, see y'all down the way. 👏😎✌️
#Cowboys4Life 🇺🇸America's Team
Preciate it bro! #flyeaglesfly
Rugby is brutal
You need to do All Blacks. All blacks and Springboks hold 7 (SA-4 ABs-3) world cups alone out of 10. Making both the most successful teams in the world. Plus the rivalry between the 2 are unparalleled.
ABs however, have the highest percentage win rate.
if you pass the ball forward you do the scrum which is the crazy formation you saw.
Couple of Great Britain people pooping themselves, you calling it fooobal.
You react to anything 🇿🇦I sub period ❤
You know ❤️👊🏽
There are no stoppages, and no downs in rugby.
It is a fast paced game consisting of two 40 minute halves, with a 10 minute break between halves.
The Springboks, South African rugby team🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
That set piece is called the scrum
They unite us.... the make us proud
Checking to see if you've watched some more.. you are missing out my guy 🇿🇦
Your reaction to the scrum was hilarious
Yes Springboks from South Africa (SA)!!! !🇿🇦🇿🇦
Go Springbocks!!!
Theres a video a guy from the states has done explaining rugby for NFL fans (It says football, but i'm not calling it that). If you plan on watching any games, he explains the basics really well (Spoiler, Your game is pretty much your version of Rugby.) The channel is 'Sports explained'
All blacks are historically the most exciting team, mention for Fiji too (don't win as much, but enjoy the game). I'm English and Welsh, but will watch Fiji and the Kiwis for their ball skills
Not a field goal but a conversion worth 2 points. Usually after a try is scored which is 5 point bringing the total up to 7 possible points
You can only paas backward in rugby but you can you kick forward like a pass
Most definitely an interesting sport. I be watching Rugby,A7FL,XFL and USFL bro. Tap in my boy. Btw, funny dope video bihhhh… salute 🫡
I might tap in, gotta find somebody to watch.
Imations you can through forward in FNL.
He was sober that's why😂
You got to put the ball down on the ground over the try line before its a goal.( try)
Players dive to touch tbe ball down as it is far harder to tackle them and prevent scoring. You have to touch the ball down in the end zone to score. And the extra points kick after scoring is in line with where the ball was touched down. Hence many players running towards middle of posts to place the ball down 5o make the kick easier.
Plus you can’t tackle someone mid air
no rugby team "fears" another lol, it is a contact sport and every team hits eachother in tackles. this video is only about the South African team, they are the best at the moment but all time best i would say is New Zealand, even some of the lower ranked countries can smash anybody in a tackle, there is no "fear".
👌 💯
Remind me who has made history in rugby championships?😂
Lol remind me again who made rugby world cup history? And what happened at Twickenham?
South Africa are definitely not the best at the moment. They're the best when the All Blacks are down to 14 players for 50 minutes.
@@victoriaaconiRugby Championships don't mean shit. Sorry to break it to ya.
Check out Cheslin Kolbe the Ultimate Athlete
Nah, NFL is completely different. (Forward pass is only allowed if a penalty was already called during the play). A bit complicated, but passes should be backward. One of the most basic rules.
Players may only handle the ball while moving as well. The moment they are immobile they may no longer handle the ball but they may protect the ball with their bodies (to an extent)
Foodball is for kids
RUGBY is for MANS
You also can not lateral forward level or back no forward, also these players play a full 80min
Ek is Bok befok ❤
All black next
NFL...too many stops too little game. A Rugby game is about 80 minutes with a 10 minute break at halftime no downs.
There are no downs in rugby union (which is what these clips are from). I recommend this video for the laws of rugby: ua-cam.com/video/TeTB9NdA_F8/v-deo.html
7:35 js it is called a scrum
It's called a scrum my guy
The guy that you say is a menace is Eben Etzebeth. Please react to a video of him: Eben Etzebeth, the greatest enforcer of all time
When they down its considered a rug so they must compete for the ball.
that is called is a scrum when they tug
together. The team that pushes the other team it's a penalty
3:59 is a scrum...sort of a penalty for losing the ball forward...forward pass is illegal but bear in mind you can kick the ball forward and not be penali
React to a rugby skills video. I think you will appreciate the athletethism.
"Could be from South Africa, I don't know" ?? You're talking about a team you're not even sure where it's from. So ignorant.
You have to pass backwards.
Bro is doubting The springboks is from SA probably cause he sees a lot of white players. America what have you done to these people's mind 😭
Welcome to rugby! 😅
They can’t pass forward only sideways or backwards
welcome to rugby my man, no downs, continues play, no defensive or offensive team, do your self a favor and check out a video on the rules especially scrums
You have no idea what big hits and speed is lmao. No pads straight gunning for 80 minutes straight. A NFL aint making it here for 80 minutes with meat on flesh contact. You just watched a small portion of what rugby is. .
React to rugby rules then do another rugby reaction.
We fear only God in New Zealand. He makes our praises heard afar. We're the greatest Rugby team in history. Second to none.
And that why we will always give you a hiding as South Africans when it matters the most cause you are sore loosers and I wish we meet again in the FINAL of the next World Cup and We Will show God that you Fear So Much!
Others have told you that the formation you asked about is the scrum. It is directly from this than NFL derived the line of scrimmage. Just think about it. Yes, American Football is the descendant of rugby, altered by you as it was too dangerous.
Their supporters fear not scoring any tries. Good kickers though.
Most feared? The Springboks?? Check out the REAL all-time champions of rugby, the New Zealand All Blacks.
With a win rate of almost 80% over about 120 years they are easily the most successful team in any sport. Sure, the Springboks have won 4 world cups to NZ's 3, however in the last one (2023) they only won by one point after NZ had played most of the game with one player less.
Never stop until the whistle.
so you actually comment real shit as a contact player so im just gona throw 2 names quick for you to react on, eben etzebeth and i AM legend, fo more plz dont hesitate, ill give you my contacts and yes i dont want any comp or whatever i just love my country
When you realise nfl is a girls sport
CHECK OUT RUGBY TILL I COLLAPSE BIG HITS you are welcome to a real man game.😂
Most def will!
USA EAGLES ARE THE MOST USELESS TEAM EVER IN RUGBY SAD
Professional athletes, even mediocre ones, make more money in other sports in the USA. Respect American rugby players because they have sacrificed large paydays for the love of the game.
bro...in the states, they first played rugby back in the day. then they invented football *from* rugby 😉
in no way is the springbok the most feared rugby team lmao
Jokes on you 🤡
how so they won 4 rwc if so who would be more feared the springboks don't get intimidated by any other nation but i would say there's no fear in rugby just respect as much as fans like to troll and talk rubbish all rugby teams respect each other
The Springboks fans fear their team not scoring any tries. Good kickers though.
🤣
