That's awesome! I was playing and touring at the same time as MXPX (Like, exact same age lol), but they still influenced my style of writing after listening to them. I think I learned a lot about how to write choruses from them and Jimmy Eat World. Two totally different bands, especially Jimmy Eat World early albums, but both knew/know how to grab you with their delivery.
When I was 16 got one of their CD's and loved it. Went to see them live, had a huge crush on Mike. Got drunk and high first with my friends. Crowd surfed in a short skirt numerous times, then took my undies off and crow surfed so I could beave the band. Security guard saw and kicked me out of the show. Learned they were a a Christian band. Still love Mxpx.
I spent 15 years trying to remember this song just from the video clip, that was all I could remember for so long. When I found it, I made sure I made note of it and added it to my music. So much easier to do these days then back watching it on Rage on the weekend in Australia. Love this song.

Does anyone else think that MxPx is criminally underrated? They could be argued as part of the first big wave of pop punk.
The industry is fake. Great bands as this suffer from it.
I usually don’t like poppy punk like this but they have a lot of great songs and I do feel like they’re underrated. Saw them live in Portland, OR and they put on a fun live show
Agree with both. I also find The Get Up Kids (pop punk/emo band) and Saves The Day two other bands that suffers lower recognition as well.
YES! Thank you.
100 percent.
MxPx is one of the best pop punk bands in eternity.
