I actually got off pretty lite on a charge because the guy before me was such a d!ck with a long record. Judge even cracked a few jokes about how to conduct yourself in court.

Thats what happens when an average person gets a contempt in court. When a billionaire commits multiple acts of contempt in court , nothing happens and guy says he is a victim. Ill let you guess whom i am talking about. Lol.
If you follow any of these cases you'd know the judge almost always reduces the contempt after a few days.
And of course, said person won't serve a second in jail for his 34 felonies.

Cussing is what ppl do when they dont have enough vocabulary to say what they want to say with out cussing. When i was told that. It set me back a little and thinking about it .i realized that is correct so that made me start saying everything with out cus words which in turn has made me a better explainer of myself

Have had clients like that. Technically in Michigan, a bond has to be set on misdemeanors, it can't be no bond. Ot can be some ridiculous number he'll never be able to put up tho, like 10 million.

It's pretty sad that judges are still people who behave and react emotionally. A judge is supposed to be impartial and dole out justice, not act like a man-baby as soon as someone says a "bad word".

Cohen v California was a disturbing the peace case that occurred outside the courtroom. This was contempt whilst court was in session. You really need to know wtf you're talking about before you start talking about complaints and violations.

Judges have superpowers in their courtroom. It definitely is not a just system, but it is the system we have. In an ideal world, judges like the one in the video would be removed from their position and replaced by people who are genuinely impartial and don't act emotionally.

Old people get so mad at "cuss words" but words only have power if they are given power. And yeah the guy did need to be in jail but not for a word. Otherwise we don't have a 1st amendment. A judge is a human like the rest of us.

Freedom of speech is not an absolute right. There are many cases where your freedom of speech can be legally curtailed. Standing before a judge in a courtroom is one of them.

Article I or Article III judges are federal judges. Simpson is a Michigan state District Court judge. He is in fact a real judge.
