- Hey y'all! Welcome or welcome back to my little corner of the Internet!
Today I want to talk about the Netflix show, KAOS. The show stars Jeff Goldblum as Zeus and that's just the beginning!
I absolutely adore Greek mythology so I'm always willing to give TV/movie adaptations a chance. Unfortunately, they tend to mostly be pretty bad.
KAOS however, is not one of those! I genuinely enjoyed it so I want to share with you what I liked about it.

I read the Stephen Fry book years ago and Greek Tragedys were a topic in school as well (many more years ago). Orfeo ed Euridice rings a bell, but thank you for reminding me of the original story.
The most astonishing thing after seeing the first episode was Dionysus. I had to look him up, but could have sworn it was Mawaan Rizwan who was on Taskmaster a few seasons ago. Except it wasn't him but his little brother Nabhaan who is apparently equally ridiculous and exudes the same amounts of insanity and madness to befit a god.
The show has a great cast alltogether, so if you're not up with your greek mythology it's still an exhilarating watch.
I’ve been waiting for someone to talk about this show!
Just found myself here on your channel for the first time. I didn't watch this whole video because now I want to watch the show and I didnt want spoilers. Thanks for announcing them. Thanks for this content! Have a great day ❤
@@nicolearriaga9969 thank you!!
I don’t have a fave Greek myth but I do love anything with Persephone and hades. I love the actor they chose for hades in this show and in general the people they chose to play the characters is so well done! And the music!!
@@cozycasasmr4510 the story of Hades and Persephone is a great one for sure! And I love that David Thewlis is working his way through all the gods 🤣
Im hooked on it!
@@arcanoch isn't it great? 😃😃
I didn't catch the Nax-Naxos reference. Clever indeed !
I loved the last scene between Orpheus and Riddy, a very masterful way to renew the source material while keeping it as heartbreaking.
@@heleneverdier232 right? Such a smart interpretation!
I loved Riddy's story especially, yes give me a suffocating wife with her own story to tell! I also fell in love with Dionysus a bit, and the struggle with his human side was really beautifully told even when he was a mostly humorous charcter.
@@elsik2332 yes!! Dionysus was really sweet!! I really enjoyed his character.
