Hi, I’ve never painted with oil, just learning with acrylics. Once I’m good I’m switching to oil , as it seems easier to blend. Thanks for the info!!!!
Thank u so much I was literally looking every where to show me what I need cuz what made me so confused is using the medium and solvent and if gamsol can also be used as a medium but now I know I should also use a medium from watching this vid and also other vids
Thank you for the consistant content! Ive learned a lot from them. Any way of posting a "paint a long with me" portrait type vid? Or a vid of grisaille vid with portraiture?
pinkdogapples I’m working on that right now. Paint alongs are tough to film bc they take awhile and it’s tricky to film so you see the canvas, the image, and the palette but I’m figuring it out. I also want to do it where I talk as I paint instead to doing voice over after.
Last week I decided to get water soluble oils because I don’t want to have to deal with harsh solvents. I haven’t used them yet, I wish I made a good choice 😬.
i'm really surprised at the prices over there, the winsor and newton in particular is really expensive. i wonder if its the import charges as it's an english company, a lot of those paints are half the price here in the UK.
Very true, many artists use 1 brush or q tips lol. Some ppl are just very talented. I picked up a brush for the first time couple months ago, ppl think I’ve been painting for long time lol. I’ve learned everything from UA-cam. Thank u. UA-cam !!!
I bought a used easel that came with student oils: Monty? I researched and I think this is a student line. Should I toss or play with it? These are old paints but still not separated. Do I need to get a 'medium for them? Thanks. Great video!
I am happiest when shopping for art tools.

i’m most anxious and overwhelmed lol
Me too....I always wish to reach the shop faster that usual....en I spend hours before I get out...oh that feeling 😋
For anyone wondering, all of this costs $126 ( on amazon anyway) and its mostly the brushed and the cadmium lemon that really inflate this price
Honestly that action at 1:07 was the funniest thing ever lmaooo, I seriously love you dude you’re so funny and so good to learn from lol 💪🏽🙌🏽😂

You hit the nail on the head.
Im surprised how cheap they are. Here in Japan its double that price.
Same here, in Sweden you get 37ml for 5.5usd
I'm considering an attempt this helped calm some nerves. 🤘🏻🙏🏼

Thank you for this! Would these supplies work for a non-toxic oil set up?

If you make a really nice painting on canvas paper, how can you frame it?
Michaels has great coupons. That is how I get my supplies.
hey that's where i got 36 color oil paint set it was like $15.99 but i got 30% off so it was over 30 bucks
Nice song in the beginning
I got my WN winton from jerry's. is more cheap than Michael. (WN Winton 37ml C.Lemon $11.49). :)
Princeton brushes are the sh*t. They're the only brand whose ferrels stay snug on the handle.
what is the difference between titanium and soft mixing white? because I bought both and am running out of titanium white sadly
Any suggestions to keep order way down?
But gamblin is my fav brand. 😭 they are expensive tho
