Nice changes, looking forward to when you finally complete the gilaswap challenge! For the meta: I think it makes most sense if you plan to do Meta into TER, suck enemy mon, tribute over TER. This removes a monster and gets a tribute fodder for a monarch. Since you do not run any lvl 1 Monster, you would probably need two scapegoats if you want to go that route. This would change the deck to be more controlly, and depends on if you want to build your side deck around it to move from aggro to control.
Gilaswap challenge might be completed sooner than you think 👀 A meta package definitely interests me. The matchup we're having the most trouble with in the challenge so far is anything that plays Scapegoat, so maybe having our own goats would help out. But I'm trying to think of some other creative ways to solve that problem too.
@@KorokHero_ I'd say it's the control matchup in general. Tsukuyomi is a tough card because essentially every monster we have is weak to it. And goats tend to slow the deck down and reduce the efficacy of our tribute summons. But I may just be overreacting to some losses I took against the matchup.
Personally, i think 5-6 tribute monsters in Monarchs is good. You should easily be able to get bodies on the board, so why not increase your odds of getting one? I will say removing the Rats feels really awkward, especially because you could run Nimble Momonga to help stall and apply more bodies so Monarchs can clean up. Plus, Momonga helps with Stein & Lily! Even better is that I'm pretty sure you can Swap Momonga, attack it, and you would still gain the LP and summons! It's just a super underrated card. Also GILA FOREVER!!!
I'm already testing a new brew of the deck that cuts the Cobra (sad) for Reaper. I'm not sure this new decklist is going to produce the change I want, so we may switch it up soon.

Is it goats, or TER that the deck struggles with? Or do you think it is the control matchup in general?
I have not seen it in the videos yet.

41:12 you had game after you noc’d if you snatch their mon, attack with both and then ring one
You're right! Nice catch

If we are the villains bringing the Cold Wave, Breaker is certainly the hero lmao
Cobra Jar should be Spirit Reaper or Cyber Jar
