@@628DirtRooster just found out that you're JP's brother! I love both channels and today you've gained a new sub! 4/20/20. Stay safe from #Covid-19 and have a great day! 😃
small bits of advice like looking for the queen on the hive first and then checking the comb in hand really shows you are an expert and a great teacher too. every video you produce is quality content, you've never disappointed me.
Thank you for putting back the property the way you found it or close to instead of saying let the client repair it. You are a treasure to any client that hire you. You are a bless worth every penny they have to pay and more.
So I am wanting to learn to do cut outs and this is the second video in two days that has provided me good useful tips. Thanks to the Dirt Rooster and Bernard. Speaking of the Rooster, I see his has located a new helper to do the work! Way to go my friend. Mr. Ed will be envious! You all stay safe and well. Stu
I've watched pretty much every one of your videos this past 2 years and I love how much teaching you still offer! I look forward to the day I move out of my flat in the UK and get a house with a garden, join a club and get my first hive! Equipped with yours, Mr Ed's and JP's wisdom!
Sweet intro and a nice cutout to follow. Good teacher. I was afraid he was going to get nailed on the finger and drop that first one. lol Those were some calm bees. I liked that time lapse at the end. Very cool. Thanks for the video.
Bernard did a fabulous job. I was just telling Tommy today how surprised I was that he wasn't jumpy like most people get when they're new to beekeeping. I bet he used to be a fighter.
Was watching your new video, laid the phone down and this one started playing. I'd watched it earlier but was caught by the beauty of your coastal sunrise. Hard to describe how much I miss that!! Used to work shut downs down that way .... Beautiful !!! Worked a tear down and rebuild in Theodore .... stayed on Dauphin island Most beautiful drive to work ever!!
Randy, Thanks for the training. Re-watched this one today. Going to do my 1st cut-out this afternoon. Thanks to you, Mr. Ed, JP and Yappy, I am confident I can do this.
Another great 628dirtrooster video to make this craziness bearable. I am so glad to see you are doing what you do. I have been tinkering in my shed to build my own bee vac all that's left is mounting the flux capacitor. Thanks for all you do have a blessed day!
I'm just amazed at how long the bees stay in that subdued mode after being exposed to the smoke, so much so that you can pick them up and not get stung. Even the queen didn't fuss when snatched up & put in the clip!
As a “normal” and healthy 72 yr. old man, I’m not going to tell you what that going some place and forgetting why is the beginning of. It’s perfectly normal and you’ll learn to fake it. Just pick something up on those little trips and smile at everybody. Half of them are faking it too.
Good video!!! When you teach others the techniques needed to do a removal, you answer a lot of questions that come up during your removals. Something simple as how to grab the comb and how to vaccume. Thank you for posting!
Thank you for the videos. You and Mr. Ed have inspired me to be a beekeeper someday. Keep them coming, especially now that we are all trapped in our houses due to the pandemic.
I did not think I would see another cut out for a while, due to covid. Thank you very much brother/the rooster. hope all is well with you. be safe and PEACE.

Another good video. I just wanted to say thanks for all the videos on your channel. This is my first year beekeeping after 2 yrs of contemplating. I got my first box of bees about a month ago that I removed from an old FEMA trailer and my first swarm catch today in a bait box that had been out for less than 48 hrs. Thanks again, bro.
Hey Rooster, great video! Loved that while you were teaching, the rest of us got some tips that are so natural to you - you would never think to mention them. You just do it. Like how to get your fingers in far enough to grab comb and get it out, without overly upsetting bees, or getting stung. Usually, at least! This video was just a great how to - with an example of someone's attempt before that totally failed. Stay safe! PS Loved your music choice and when you used it - you'd make a great DJ!

Thanks you for your video.

After seeing how you spotted the queen on this one standing 6 feet away and how you spotted the queen on the removal with JP and Schawee from 6 feet away, I'm thinking that's your nitch. Who needs to find the queen when she's on a piece of comb in your hand if you can spot her 6 feet away. Hoping for some help and advice. You were skilled and lucky enough to spot and capture the queen. What if I am using a beevac and cannot spot the queen. Will using the beevac on the queen kill her. Or is spotting the queen during this removal the key part of its success. Thanks
Glad to see you're doing well! I'm curious about that one hive up on what look like railroad ties. Usually those ties are treated with creosote, which is also an insecticide. Reading up, there's a lively debate as to whether it's healthy for the bees to have their hive right on top of them... could that be having a negative effect on that hive?
Dirt rooster school. Now when the comb comes out be looking for the queen. Everything the rooster does is for a reason. SO PAY ATTENTION if you ever go for a call with him

HA!!
I built a bee vac about like that one, turned out to be to small for some removals. nice little hive!
It is limited. Thankfully we had a small colony to practice on.
"I watch a LOT of animal planet." that made me LOL more than it should have. Perhaps it's the quarantine, & lack of getting out of the house.
It was pretty funny
How long does a queen last in a well maintained hive? And if she dies do they automatically raise a new one?
That bucket vacuum looks like a great ides. Any place with info on how to put one together??
What was actually going on at the very end with the bucket under the tractor? Looked as though the comb moved and/or “collapsed”.
