I've seen the inside of your truck as well as what's in the back, and it's not just anybody who could go out to your truck and bring back exactly what you asked for. That's a true testament of knowing somebody as well as they know themselves. My swarm count is pretty pathetic at this stage of the game, only 13. I hear Schawee is up to over 30 already. Stay safe brother, God's peace.

That dirtrooster must be OCD or paranoid! Vacuuming the mailbox. I do wonder if those people driving by had any idea you were catching a swarm or wondered what in the world you were doing. LOL. In the beginning of that catch, it looked like you were giving a beard a trim.
If it was an actual swarm it would move on when the scouts they sent out reported back with a good housing alternative. If they were lost bees of a transport truck they could hang there for weeks.
Interesting that the bees were just around the one mail box and not the other one. Does the queen decide by the amount of junk mail, magazine subscriptions, postage due, or less rust?
Yesterday I was trying to decide if a swarm had moved into one of my dead out hives, some of the bees had what looked like pollen on their heads and pollen dust in the entrance areas, in your promo I see why so I learned something. Weather is too iffy to go exploring into the hive. I got time. Y'all Stay Safe, Body and Mind...
Bee removal should be an essential function. lol No time for that pesky Mr. Ed! Return to Sender. Wind was blowing while you were sucking. lol So, did you combine the cutout bees into the vac with the cutout? Mrs. Dirt Rooster is a hit, or is she Dirt Hen??? Thanks for the video!

How do you introduce a queen to a possibly laying worker hive? And how do you know if it's a laying worker hive? I didn't see any larva in the entire colony of any kind. I did have some closed cells of brood and drones. The drones were the only ones in a good pattern. The brood is spread out on several frames with mainly honey and just a little brood with only one frame with a good amount of brood laid.
