Ate there a couple years ago. The room is old school but the steak was just ok. Had better in Vegas.

I just canceled my summer trip to Vegas - airfare is insane and I refuse to take a six-hour flight on a fully packed plane. Nice you can drive to Vegas anytime. Keep it up. Yes! We love to request Frank’s or Dean’s booth. The food is special and the atmosphere is so Old Vegas! It’s easy to miss from the outside but I was so glad we found it!
We ate here a day or two before thanksgiving last year. It was wonderful! The Caesar salad was amazing. Not an anchovy fan normally but it did add to the flavor. Steaks were perfect. Had one of the best glasses of Sauvignon blanc I’ve ever tasted. And the bananas foster dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. Best of all, I had just won some money at Bingo at the plaza so it was all financially guilt free!
Great review, Golden Steer Ribeye with their mash potatoes was awesome. I agree their Caesar's salad tasted the best, based on how they prepare it at the table.

I just have to say, THANK YOU BOTH for this video. My partner and I went to the Golden Steer this past weekend because of you and IT WAS AWSOME! The attentive and friendly staff, the management, the ambiance, the food! ALL fantastic! Classic Vegas all around, including the Frank Sinatra music playing as we dined. I would recommend this place to all my travel friends and it's thanks to you two! Thanks again!

I agree about the lobster. I'm Australian and our lobster is tougher and drier, we don't bother to buy it and find our prawns and scallops are by far a better option.
What is interesting is that I understand China was a huge market for our lobster but are no longer buying it, this has meant that we have been able to buy it here for very cheap, $20 to $25 for a whole lobster whereas it used to cost us three times that amount. Looks like they may have found a new market in America and are selling it cheaper than your better lobster.
When you spend that kind of money for a meal you don't want to feel ripped off when you leave. At the Golden Steer, you ALWAYS feel like you've had one of the best steaks you've ever had!

As a new subscriber, we enjoy your content very much and have a couple questions about the Golden Steer. We made our reservations for 4:30, when they open for business, to try ensure that we would get a booth since they do not reserve booths in advance they said, this a good idea to get a booth? also, is it customary to tip the individual that makes the Caesar salad and dessert at your table, if so how much? Thanks for watching! We recommend getting a booth if you can. A bit of Vegas history! Also, if we are recalling correctly, we believe our waiter made our salad and desserts table side so we would have tipped him as part of the overall bill.

This type of restaurant would be awesome in Chicago with a tribute to the Blues Brothers (best Chicago movie!). You're such an awesome couple.. love your show! I only have one question.. what was the final price of the whole meal?

Finally you guys try my favorite spot!! Good for you !! I didn’t like their special as much and prefer their prime rib instead. Was the Aussie lobster west or south Aussie lobster ? West Aussie lobster is a lower quality, cheaper the meat is not as firm whereas the south Aussie lobster is the best of the best and sashimi quality.
I wanna go here so badly!
