I know it's technically a Skyrim mod (its a complete overhaul, basically a brand new game using skyrims engine), but you should totally play Enderal: Forgotten Stories. It has a great story and expanded rpg mechanics that are quite fun and challenging especially for mage builds.
I was never able to finish Skyrim, being quite frankly bored while playing, but Enderal hooked me much more, with its narrative and more closely contained world.
A sequel to Tyranny would be awesome. I'm sad it didn't sell well because the entire premise of it breaks the mold more than many things we see every day.
While I would love this too, I can't see Owlcat taking a game that would compete with their other games. A fantasy franchise and a sci-fi franchise make sense. Two of the same genre don't.
This isn't a sequel really, but one thing I want to see is a 'Blade Runner' CRPG by the people from ZA/UM who made Disco Elysium (ie the people who left 'involuntarily')
They confirmed they are making Dragon's Dogma 2 in an anniversary stream a year or two ago, but said it was super early in development so it's still years away. But definitely looking forward to it!
Would also like to see a Tyranny sequel, but between its lukewarm reception and Obsidian most likely having their hands full with new projects under Microsoft (Avowed and Outer Worlds 2) and possibly a New Vegas sequel given that Bethesda is also under Microsoft, I don't hold out much hope.
came here for tyranny. one of the most interesting settings and magic systems in... at least the last decade. such a shame it wasn't super popular, because it was such an awesome game.
This list is great. Man I’d love a Tyranny sequel! The story the world, the magic system. It all has fantastic potential! I want that cliffhanger resolved ha
The sequels I am looking forward to are Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2. I know it's being redeveloped and it's super hush hush, but I am a mega fan and still want to play it. I am also looking forward to the Dragon Age sequel. Although I do wish the games would be more like the first.
What setting would you like to see in PoE 3? After traditional medieval european and then Polynesian pirate theme? I think the Arabian nights flavour would be perfect for this game.
I agree 100% on your list with a resound ABSOLUTELY for Arcanum. That game was so much fun when it came out and it holds a special place in my heart. The lore and world building was just so incredible. I’d also really like to see a sequel to BattleTech as I recently dug into this one from my backlog. My son was born around the same time this game was, and I just didn’t have the time to devote to it… Now that I’ve dug into it, I have found it to be quite a lot of fun. The latest HBS announced game looks pretty fantastic, but a follow up to BattleTech would be one of my top asks. A more recent game that I’m really hoping gets a follow up is The Ascent. I really didn’t think that a twin stick isometric RPG was going to be as much fun as I had with that one and the world was so gobsmackingly beautiful.
With Tyranny 2 and New Vegas 2 you have two of my top three sequels I want to see on your list. For the third one, I'd really like to see a Kingdoms of Amalur 2.
Hey Mortym! Trying out Wartales after your review and loving it after just 4.5 hours and a quick restart. Would love to see you check out Dredge and cover it on the channel if it interests you. Not much like most games you cover but it has a great narrative and fun gameplay mechanics. Building up some steam as a sleeper GOTY contender as well so your review could pop off. Lastly, I have to recommend Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales yet again! All timer if you ask me (I’m biased)
Bloodlines 2 would be a strong contender for me. We were supposed to get one a few years back, but the studio handling it got plagued with delays (only some of which were COVID-related), what we saw come out of them really wasn't looking good, and it was pretty clear that development wasn't going well. It got so bad that Paradox actually took the title away from the devs and (supposedly) gave it to another unnamed team, and it's been 100% radio silence ever since. At this point, it's safe to assume the game is straight-up dead until we hear official word otherwise.
A few months ago, they said they should info sometime this year, but yeah bit of a bummer. Its not on here because 'technically' its still in development but we'll see
As you've often discussed, CRPGs are an incredibly niche genre, and I've found myself absolutely hating some of the favorites and loving some of the lesser known ones. With that being said, I don't know where Deadfire stands, but I loved that game. The whole pirate theme, the New Vegas type of "all factions hate eachother", the writing, it was perfect, even made a video about it a couple months back. Personally, I'd love to see another Wasteland game, but that's because Wasteland 3 might be my favorite CRPG of all time.
Tyranny was a MASSIVELY underrated game. One of my top 10 favorite storylines in all of gaming. That's saying something too considering I've been playing games since Atari and Commodore 64. That game was a breath of fresh air. Happened on it by accident and was blown away by it. Pillars of Eternity NEEDS a 3rd installment. Again, the first one is one of the best experiences in gaming I've had. One of my favorite IP's by far. Lets hope!
I have just read in a French video games magazine (Canard PC) that Leonard Boyarski and Tim Cain wanted to work on a remake of Fallout New Vegas. Quite a strange declaration to make to the press, right? As for an actual sequel to F:NV, it wouldn't be the same without the original game and story designers. Josh Sawyer is still at Obsidian, but we don't know what he's working on, now that Pentiment is out. And Chris Avellone, well, I'm pretty sure he'll ever work for Obsidian any more.😅
So basically you want sequels from the developers of Interplay/Black Isle Studios and I couldn't agree more. Both Arcanum and Shadowrun need new games.
I'd love for New Vegas 2 to just be a codename. Make a game in a similar vein perhaps, but don't set it in New Vegas itself. NV was explored thoroughly and crafted so well that it really doesn't need a direct sequel; spiritual successor would be incredibly exciting, set somewhere else and MAYBE have a link or two to NV.
A tyranny sequel is what I want the most, but it will probably never see the light of day, since the IP holders are Paradox and the studio that made the game (Obsidian) is under Microsoft. Microsoft would never care to buy the IP (or a license) and if it was possible to somehow acquire it, Obsidian is too busy as is, with 2 current open world RPGs in the making, and most likely a bunch of other side projects. It is sad :(
Pretty Spot on list. And hey I know its too soon but I'd still love another Owlcat Pathfinder Module or massive expansion/fleshing out to WOTR personally.
Interesting how 3/5 games on your list are from Obsidian. They really have a penchant for making interesting worlds that we want to see more of. My personal vote would be a Kingdoms of Amalur sequel-probably the best game to ever completely fail and bankrupt its developer.
loved loved PoE 1 and 2. it's so well written and i actually cared about those companions i picked up along the journey, thanks to the character development and immersive worldbuilding. i do agree with your list but there is another game i would mention here, Disco of Elysium
Yup, agree with almost all, althought Divinity would lower in me list. Another game to have sequal could be Battle Brothers (and good official modding tools for it)
Dragon Age is dead to me, and so is Bioware. They are a dumpster fire these days. They haven't made a good game since ME2 and most of ME3. DA2 was rushed and a mess, DAI was just a grindfest snooze of a story, and then there is Andromeda and Anthem.
@O-D-X 2 and Inquisiton where good games. Andromeda launched like shit but ended up just being meh. There only bad game is anthem. Also games are made by companies. There made by people.
A very nice list. Of those mentioned my top pick would be Arcanum and I'd happily settle for a remake. And to add to the list: A new Shadowrun and the freaking TES 6 would be cool. I'd also say Albion, as that's my most favorite RPG since I played it back in the 90s, but I am fully aware that no one will ever make a sequel to that gem of a game.
Pillars MIGHT get some sequel IF Avowed comes out and is succesful and Microsoft then says, well here is 10 million, go make an isometric RPG sequel but yeah, I think heavily dependent on Avowed's success.
Fallout New Vegas was a fun game.... even if it was a bit buggy on release. In theory a Fallout New Vegas 2 could be fun...... but seeing the direction Fallout took with Fallout 76..... I don't really want more Fallout games.
I whole-heartedly join you in hoping for a Pillars 3, and even a Tyranny 2. Just this week I started yet another run through Pillars 1 and 2! Regardless of whatever Avowed turns out to be, or how well or poorly it does, I'll hold out hope for another CRPG sequel.
Just bought Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2. If it's approximately as good as BG3 I agree with a sequel for that. BG has the advantage to take place in the Forgotten Realms which is my absolute favorite setting, but I'd still play another new Larian game if it's in another world. Other than that: One of my favorite games when I was a teeny is Interstate 76. Released in 1997. It had a sequel (Interstate 82 (released in 1999)) which wasn't nearly as good as the original, bit I'd still try out a sequel to this series. Oh and Icewind Dale. 😁 How about Larian doing Icewind Dale 3? 😊
@Asphyxx I like what they did with BG3 so far. And I had my reservations at the beginning. The original BG titles are my favorite games. Didn't want that series to fail...
I would LOVE to get Pillars 3. That said, Josh Sawyer has said on multiple occasions that it is unlikely, given the financial flop that was PoE2. But I will continue to dream
@@MortismalGaming Yeah? I'm glad to hear that, although that wouldn't make for a very convincing argument during a new game pitch... lol. No doubt that is why we're getting Avowed instead. Maybe if that rekindles enough interest in the setting of Eora we'll get PoE3. Maybe with multiplayer, so I can play with my "stupid postenago" of a younger brother :P
Yep, I agree with tyranny. An Arcanum remake could be interesting, because for me, it felt more like a late alpha version. PoE 3 would be nice, yes. I want some kind of sequel of these old games: * Warlords Battlecry 3 * Fallen Enchantress * Black Moon Chronicles * Icewind Dale 2 * Blood Omen 2 * Dark Sun * Darklands * Fantasy Wars * Lords of Magic * Temple of Elemental Evil * Neverwinter Nights 2
Some of these are D&D, so it'd be upto WotC/Hasbro to get games out and they'd all be 5th Edition. I don't want a 100+ year timeline jump just to accomodate 5th Edition. I want 2nd Edition or 3.5e games.
@@cmdr.jabozerstorer3968 I agree. These old editions have their own charm, but if I had to choose it would be 3.5 because I'm not a big fan of 2nd edition's limitations unless it makes sense story-based.
KOTOR 3, Arcanum 2, Tyranny 2, PoE 3, Deus Ex sequel a.k.a the 3rd Adam Jensen game to wrap up the trilogy... I'm not sure if a sequel could live up to the hype since New Vegas holds a legendary status in the RPG community. Also I don't think there are many writers that could pull it off, especially since the departure of Chris Avellone from Obsidian and his excommunication from the industry. Another thing I would love to see is another isometric Fallout game. I know it's probably never gonna happen but with the recent revival of CRPGs I'm not sure why Bethesda hasn't contracted some studio to do a spinoff game.
A new Divinity or Pillars would be great. Still waiting to hear anything on the new Fable, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect… As for unannounced stuff, I would love to see a new Arkham game even though they said they're finished with the series. Maybe a more Borderlands style game utilizing the Battleborn characters. A proper Sacred 3.
My most wanted sequels (many of that probably will never be released) are: - Heroes of might and magic VIII - new Command & conquer - Vanquish 2 - Max payne 4 - Binary domain 2 - new Dead space - Darksiders IV - new Legacy of kain - Remember me 2 - Sleeping dogs 2 - Quake 5 - No one lives forever 3/ Shogo 2 - Divinity 3/ OS 3 - Grim Dawn 2/ Titan quest 2 - new Shadowrun - sequel to Deus ex Mankind divided - Disohnored 3/ Prey 2 by Arkane - System shock 3 (what happened to System shock 3? :( ) - New gothic/ Elex 3 And obviously Half life 3, but i think that before my death i will see Half life 3... i hope.
Microsoft has the money to not only give an entire new B Team for Obsidian to program even another Pillars side game with, they could burn a billion they can instantly earn back just trying to let inXile make a new Wasteland or anything really. So many of these wanted sequels are now in Microsoft's hands and it just becomes more insulting when THE TECHNOLOGY MONOPOLY JUST SITS ON ITS GROWING IP AND STUDIO HORDE AND DOESN'T DO SHIT WITH THEM.
JAGGED ALLIANCE!! While it's not technically RPG or even TRPG (at least from my point of view) still it's cool game and deserves proper sequel. Since JA2 to this day we are yet to see true sequel! Pillars 3 will be great! While Avowed sound interesting I'm not huge fan of FPRPGs and prefer classic iso or 3d-iso view.
Besides the more popular sequel requests I want to give an honorable mention to Drakensang and Drakensang: The River Of Time. Both fantastic games in the Das Schwarze Auge universe. Sadly the third game was/is some “Free2Play“-MMORPG :(
I don't see a 3rd divinity taking both from Dragon knight and from DOS 2 being possible, they're like 2 different multiverse versions, especially about Lucian. DOS2 was a good game but the ending didn't really make me want to see more. Avowed I hope won't prevent a PoE 3 since I don't care much about a solo character, first person skyrim clone. I would love an Arcanum 2 with actually good gameplay, a Tyranny 2 or a Masquerada 2 (those 2 both ended with a bigger threat on the horizon). Also Jade empire 2, Deus Ex 3 (the jensen ones) and Vampire bloodlines 2, but I doubt this last one will be good if it ever releases.
Unfortunately, from what I've seen in the gaming industry, Fallout New Vegas sequel might be the only game from the list that has just a CHANCE of being made. RPGs are much more popular than cRPGs and Fallout franchise is just popular and between Starfield and Fallout 5 release there will be just an insane time gap, so if Microsoft really buys Activision Bethesda, there might be (MIGHT) a chance for a non-numerical Fallout game. But I still wouldn't get my hopes up because it's reeeeally unlikely.
Reprising the Deus Ex: Human Revolution / Mankind Divided arc would be my number one choice. After that... hoping VtM: Bloodlines actually releasing and being good, although unlikely, would rank highly for me. I agree with Tyranny/Pillars deserving better even after their lukewarm sales as well as a Shadowrun game that could build upon the legacy of the Returns series and other modern turn-based titles.
First time I'm hearing of a sequel to Fallout: New Vegas, that's great! For sequels I'd like to see.....lemmethink... Hades 2 of course, but that's in development so that one is fine. Another Dark Sun RPG would be great, as would another Kenshi.
It's really strange how although Obsidian's PoE kickstarted the CRPG resurgence, their subsequent CRPG games has been lukewarm saleswise. Meanwhile games like Divinity 2, the Pathfinder games, and even Solasta has been selling like hotcakes. As a fan of CRPGs, PoE 2 was a bit of a disappointment TBH. The game is marketed as this high seas adventure. There's definitely lots of that, problem is a HUGE part of the early-mid game gets tied up with the capital island. You are incentivized to finish all the quests there before leaving since traveling takes in-game time. If instead they only opened up parts of the city and incentivized the player to explore it could have been a much more interesting game.
One thing I've been wanting for years is a 1-2 punch: Originial Sin 3 that deals primarily with the world story arcs, bringing a bunch of threads to cliffhangers outside the Lucian-Damian arc, and then a Divinity 3, some sort of larger, more sprawling take on Divinity 2's style with the complexity of a OS game but as a RTWP like D2 and 1.
Another one we'll probably never get is the Sequel to Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning, the MMO otherwise known as Project Copernicus. On a side note, IDK if I would wish for any IP go to MicroSoft given thier reputation for letting IPs lie dormant.
The sequels I'd love to see are: Ghost of Tsushima 2 Bloodborne 2 Sekiro 2 Dishonored 3 Prey 2 Just a list off the top of my head. Excellent video as always, Mortym; really great list of games I'd like to see as well. Keep up the great work.
I'll be honest, I have little interest in New Vegas 2, if it is made by Bethesda, considering New Vegas wasn't made by them, and considering the obvious problem, that well, story-telling and writing isn't exactly their forte (Which is why all the best games in their IP's were made by other companies, NV by Obsidian, and ESO by Zenimax Online, even if they're all owned by Microsoft now) On a different note, my sequel I'd love to see not on the list is Kingdoms of Amalur, in main because the world interested me, more than any particular story aspect. Or seeing a sequel to Planescape : Torment, considering how it ends. :)
Pillars 3 would really be something. Hopefully that one has a chance. The first two are the best Party-RPGs in my eyes. I find Obsidian's writing and worldbuiling in the Pillars universe to be very hard to match.

I know it's technically a Skyrim mod (its a complete overhaul, basically a brand new game using skyrims engine), but you should totally play Enderal: Forgotten Stories. It has a great story and expanded rpg mechanics that are quite fun and challenging especially for mage builds.
I would love for him to cover Enderal so much.
Good suggestion.
Really excellent idea!
I'd love to see another game set in the Shadowrun universe. And would totally be ok with Owlcat games giving it a shot
While I would love this too, I can't see Owlcat taking a game that would compete with their other games. A fantasy franchise and a sci-fi franchise make sense. Two of the same genre don't.
I don't see Harebrained Schemes giving up the rights since the original creator of Shadowrun works for them.
@@O-D-X It all depends on what deal they have with license holder
@Fen Shadowrun Hong Kong is fun :-)
Also fans make their own campaigns that rival or outclass the games themselves. Case in point: The CalFree series.
This isn't a sequel really, but one thing I want to see is a 'Blade Runner' CRPG by the people from ZA/UM who made Disco Elysium (ie the people who left 'involuntarily')
I know there's rumors of it being worked on but I'm still eagerly awaiting news on a sequel to Dragon's Dogma. It would make my day for sure.
They confirmed they are making Dragon's Dogma 2 in an anniversary stream a year or two ago, but said it was super early in development so it's still years away. But definitely looking forward to it!
@@myllinu It was like 6 months ago, if I am correct. Whenever the anniversary of the first game is.
Tyranny was/is such a good game! Such an amazing untapped resource! If you read this and haven't played it you better go give it a shot right now!
I wanna see IWD3. Thr closest thing we got was the White March expansions from PoE1
Arcanum I remember going the magic route and necromancer/evil, and you had to choose to either side with big bad or defeat and replace him.
came here for tyranny. one of the most interesting settings and magic systems in... at least the last decade. such a shame it wasn't super popular, because it was such an awesome game.
Not a CRPG but I would love to see a Prototype sequel haha
There was - Prototype 2 :)
Oh man I would love to see another prototype game.
This list is great. Man I’d love a Tyranny sequel! The story the world, the magic system. It all has fantastic potential! I want that cliffhanger resolved ha
A total remake of Arcanum would be amazing too. All that game needs is...A new game.
I would actually love to see the next Pathfinder considering WOTR was one of the best crpg Ive ever played
Lots of Obsidian on this list, and I approve 😁 New Vegas and Deadfire sequels are also at the top of my wishlist 👌
The people responsible for those games are no longer at Obsidian.
@@jesperburns Josh Sawyer was Project Director on both and he's definitely still there, as are many of the other staff, especially from Deadfire.
Dream RPG I'd like to see? A return to Planescape\Sigil or Dark Sun. It's been far too long since they've received some love.
What setting would you like to see in PoE 3?
After traditional medieval european and then Polynesian pirate theme?
I think the Arabian nights flavour would be perfect for this game.
Grim Dawn 2 is something I want more than just about any other game sequel.
Of all the action crpgs that's the one I would like a sequel to as well..
Completely agree with Tyranny 2 being a necessity, would also love to see Arcanum and PoE get some work/love.
With Tyranny 2 and New Vegas 2 you have two of my top three sequels I want to see on your list. For the third one, I'd really like to see a Kingdoms of Amalur 2.
Wasteland 4 is my most needed game right now, or XCOM 3 !
Anachronox is one I'd love a sequel to, but only with enough of the original writers. A bit of a longshot.
Man I really wish they revisit PoE, I love those games. Avowed looked cool and all but I want a Party CRPG sequel
Same I hope they don't stop the crpgs
I'm still waiting for Troika to found a sequel studio so we can have a proper VtM:Bloodline and Arcanum sequel...
I might, it looks pretty fun
@@MortismalGaming Love to hear that! I don’t think it will disappoint
Yeah really sad too.
A few months ago, they said they should info sometime this year, but yeah bit of a bummer. Its not on here because 'technically' its still in development but we'll see
Arx Fatalis 2! Also agree on Arcanum, we need more Arcanum.
For me those would be:
Kingdoms of Amalur 2, Vampyr 2, Divinity 3 (sequel to DKS), Titan Quest 2 and a sequel to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
And Chris Avellone, well, I'm pretty sure he'll ever work for Obsidian any more.😅
Tyranny is game that just NEED sequel no matter what. 😁
Next on my list are Stygian, Alpha Protocol, Overlord and Jade Empire
It is sad :(
Sequels i wish for would be XCOM 3, Horizon 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverence 2 and Persona 6
DoS3 would be amazing. Love the previous game so much. It's what brought me to your channel.
loved loved PoE 1 and 2. it's so well written and i actually cared about those companions i picked up along the journey, thanks to the character development and immersive worldbuilding.
i do agree with your list but there is another game i would mention here, Disco of Elysium
Would love to see something from the Legend of Dragoon series. Remake, sequel, prequel. Anything.
Yup, agree with almost all, althought Divinity would lower in me list. Another game to have sequal could be Battle Brothers (and good official modding tools for it)
I am still hoping that tyranny will become a sleeper hit and they will eventually make a sequel. Its such a good game!
How many times I've replayed Arcanum in all it's major clunkiness over the years...I would love to see an updated version of any type also 🤞
Not an RPG but a Strategy Game, I want to see a next installment of Kohan.
I would love to see a return to Arcanum! I also would love to see a remake /remasterof Alpha Centauri (different genre, I know).
I would love to see Golden Sun come back and not just as a poorly optimized Switch port. I would also love another Dark Cloud
A sequel to New Vegas or Pillars would make me so excited... I would dive in and forget the world... It would be glorious.
i would like to see might and magic get more love..i enjoyed mmx which was released 2014
Heyo Mortym! I 100% would love either an Arcanum sequel or remake.
Damien makes OS2 a bittersweet game. No matter your choice none of the endings lead to something that could stop the Damned One.
Exactly, I'm craving tyranny 2 and POE 3 so much...
live long enough and you will see someone make it. I wanted a BG3 since I was a kid I am now so close to playing it in full.
I want dragon age games to come out more then once a decade.
100%. Not such a huge fan of Divinity... but if they were to make a new game which is serious... that would be awesome.
Neverwinter Nights 3 and SW: KOTOR 3
Bethesda can't release Fallout 5, they need to re-release Skyrim at least 6 more times.
Tyranny, that game is a masterpiece so it naturally deserves a sequel.
I want a new golden sun, last game was really average and ended on a cliff hanger
I’d like to see some sequels to splinter cell that are like the first three games
I would LOVE to get Pillars 3. That said, Josh Sawyer has said on multiple occasions that it is unlikely, given the financial flop that was PoE2. But I will continue to dream
It made a profit eventually but yes
@@MortismalGaming Yeah? I'm glad to hear that, although that wouldn't make for a very convincing argument during a new game pitch... lol. No doubt that is why we're getting Avowed instead. Maybe if that rekindles enough interest in the setting of Eora we'll get PoE3. Maybe with multiplayer, so I can play with my "stupid postenago" of a younger brother :P
Yep, I agree with tyranny.
An Arcanum remake could be interesting, because for me, it felt more like a late alpha version.
PoE 3 would be nice, yes.
I want some kind of sequel of these old games:
* Warlords Battlecry 3
* Fallen Enchantress
* Black Moon Chronicles
* Icewind Dale 2
* Blood Omen 2
* Dark Sun
* Darklands
* Fantasy Wars
* Lords of Magic
* Temple of Elemental Evil
* Neverwinter Nights 2
@@Banefane There was 3.0 too but that didn't last long. I think Neverwinter Nights 1 might have been 3.0, or Icewind Dale 2. I know one of them was.
Arcanum could just be a good remake tbh. Divinity games, yeah I can't get enough of them.
Arcanum had a rich world.
A sequel would be nice.
I loved Divinity 2 Ego Draconis as a kid, so Id love to see more of that.
A new Divinity or Pillars would be great. Still waiting to hear anything on the new Fable, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect…
As for unannounced stuff, I would love to see a new Arkham game even though they said they're finished with the series. Maybe a more Borderlands style game utilizing the Battleborn characters. A proper Sacred 3.
My most wanted sequels (many of that probably will never be released) are:
- Heroes of might and magic VIII
- new Command & conquer
- Vanquish 2
- Max payne 4
- Binary domain 2
- new Dead space
- Darksiders IV
- new Legacy of kain
- Remember me 2
- Sleeping dogs 2
- Quake 5
- No one lives forever 3/ Shogo 2
- Divinity 3/ OS 3
- Grim Dawn 2/ Titan quest 2
- new Shadowrun
- sequel to Deus ex Mankind divided
- Disohnored 3/ Prey 2 by Arkane
- System shock 3 (what happened to System shock 3? :( )
- New gothic/ Elex 3
And obviously Half life 3, but i think that before my death i will see Half life 3... i hope.
My list: Icewind Dale 3, Kingdom Come 2, Alpha Protocol 2, Pathfinder 3, Neverwinter Nights 3
A completion of NWN module Witch's Wake.
Disco Elysium.
VtM Bloodlines.
Shadowrun.
Besides those you mentioned I'd love a sequel to Dark Messiah and Skyrim, a sequel to Skyrim with Dark Messiah-like combat'd be nice :p
i tried to get into Divinity Original Sin and i straight up hated it. went for a PoE replay and i just love the game SO much. need a PoE3.
Sadly the third game was/is some “Free2Play“-MMORPG :(
KOTOR 3, Incubation 2, Outcast 2, Jade Empire 2, Half Life 3, Arx Fatalis 2.
1. Sacrifice 2
2. Battle for Middle Earth 3
3. Myth 4
4. Shadow of War 2
5. War for the Overworld 2
The sequels I'd love to see are:
Ghost of Tsushima 2
Bloodborne 2
Sekiro 2
Dishonored 3
Prey 2
Just a list off the top of my head.
Excellent video as always, Mortym; really great list of games I'd like to see as well. Keep up the great work.
I'll be honest, I have little interest in New Vegas 2, if it is made by Bethesda, considering New Vegas wasn't made by them, and considering the obvious problem, that well, story-telling and writing isn't exactly their forte (Which is why all the best games in their IP's were made by other companies, NV by Obsidian, and ESO by Zenimax Online, even if they're all owned by Microsoft now)
On a different note, my sequel I'd love to see not on the list is Kingdoms of Amalur, in main because the world interested me, more than any particular story aspect. Or seeing a sequel to Planescape : Torment, considering how it ends. :)
