  • We are sailing Croatia and living fulltime on our sailboat during 2021. We embark on a 30-day passage to explore Croatia from the very south to the northern Adriatic. We share some beautiful anchorages, marinas, unspoiled islands, great sites, and expenses along the way.
We recently quit our high-tech jobs in California bought a sailboat and moved to the Mediterranean. We are just starting our adventure of sailing around the world and experiencing life on a sailboat. In this sailing vlog 2021, we will share our experiences as a sailing couple on UA-cam who spends our first year sailing extensively throughout Croatia. We will document our experiences, costs, and travel discoveries throughout our sailing journey. Croatia offers some of the best sailings in the Mediterranean and sailing in Europe

Love your wandering! We also went through Istria this summer and then over to Venice for a week. We fly the US flag, Texas and Scottish flags as well. The Croatian people are kind, welcoming and very friendly. We are heading back to Greece now. Hope to cross paths for a cold beer. Safe sailing!

Loved the video! The sound sometimes came in very loud and then was softer in other places so I was adjusting my volume occasionally. The scenery is absolutely stunning especially towards the end of the video in that beautiful bay. Great music accompanies this video so well done on the choice. In my naivety I did not realize that boats had auto pilot! It makes sense though and I am enjoying your travels along with you. At the end you tell us to watch out for Part III. Where is Part II or am I losing my mind?

Sorry about the sound issue we are not professionals with high-end gear - sometimes it all works out and other times not so much. Part one is Ep 5 thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send us a comment. Cheers!

@@SeaBeeSailing Love you! I know you are not professionals with high end gear. Just thought you would not mind me pointing it out though. Virtual Hugs!

@@maryfrench8071 we agree with you and as usual you are spot on. We also noticed the audio issues before pushing the video out but Unfortunately there are limitations with the software and gear we have since it’s pretty basic.

So glad I found your sailing series a few weeks back, I'm loving the vblogs. I'm also from Cali, but in the South Bay {nr Los Gatos} and I'm strongly contemplating something similar in a couple of years when we're empty nesters. All the inside info you put together is very much appreciated, keep it coming.

Any chance of getting Borris to tell us all what to avoid in buying a prior charter boat? Love your videos.

Any special tips from Borris for the Impression 45? I

Boris owns an Impression 444 which is the predecessor of 45. Identical hull design and build characteristics. Being a trans-ocean LNG ship captain, his choice in Elan Impression speaks volumes relative to the construction and sea worthiness of these boats.
