Yes definitely. I have a cage on mine and don’t remove it and this gimbal handles it fine with a mic on top. Great strong gimbal

I just purchased the G6 Max and will be using it with my A6600 and Sony 16-50mm kit lens. Perhaps I will eventually switch to the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 which should also be well within the payload of the G-6 Max.
I've two questions:
1. Since the A6600 has IBIS and the kit lens has OSS: should I have both of these stabilizations on or off when I shoot with the gimbal rig?
2. I'd like some sort of strap to make it easier to carry the gimbal when I an not shooting.
Any ideas on the above?
I’d try turning off ibis and lens oss and see how the footage look especially wider focal lengths. You’re looking for warpy corners. Then try again with just the body and then just lens and then both. Check out which works best for you. I personally and professionally haven’t used a gimbal since June of 21 lol I shoot all handheld now. I was happy with my handheld results on the a7iii and even more happy with lumix cameras that I use now. S5 and S1.
I think SmallRig makes a strap for gimbals or get a peak design slide lite or leash and attach the anchors to your gimbal for quick on and off strap.

what you thought about Zhiyun Crane M2 too ? i have the lumix G90 and the sony a6400 i want a gimbal for both ?
This g6 max gimbal has a higher payload than the m2. It’ll hold both cameras with a lens just fine. My 18-105 is pushing it so I’m looking to upgrade to the ak2000c gimbal soon.
Thank you for sharing! I've been looking at several hybrid gimbals for my GoPro Hero 7 & 10 along with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I have a question; How smooth is G6 Max gimbal for a bare GoPro and iPhone? My concern is that both may be too light for getting smooth shots due to the gimbal not noticing the weight. For a phone it will definitely be smooth. I’ve never had a go pro so can’t speak to that

On the specifications of FeiyuTech 6G Max I red that this lens is not compatible with the gimbal.
Is Carl Zeiss not supported by the gimbal and can’t be balanced?
Which functions can be used on this gimbal together with Sony Alpha 6500?

I have also iPhone 11Pro and iPhone 12 and I’m interested to have Feiyu 6G Max.

I don’t own that lens nor have I ever used it. Can’t offer help. Buy the gimbal from Amazon and if it doesn’t work return it. If you have more budget try the weebill s. Also a great gimbal

Thanks for watching! I already own this gimbal and have made it work to balance it but if you’re looking to buy a gimbal for that lens I recommend the ak2000c. It has a 4lb payload so will handle the lens much better
Do you recommend this over the moza mini p and zhiyun m2? Is this gimbal a good fit for Sony zv I?
It is a great gimbal. I don’t have experience with the m2 but I did use to have the smooth 4 and didn’t like it or having to rely on the app. With the G6max everything is on the gimbal and you can control the gimbal without relying on the app. If you decide to get one please use my affiliate link as it helps support my channel

its hard for me to balance my sony a7iii with a 28-70mm lens...when i unlock the highest lock i keeps on tilting over and i cant use HF correctly
This gimbal is probably not best for that setup. I’d get a weebill s. The weebill s will balance s1h and sigma 24-70 just fine.
Any tips to make it balance easy on sonya6400 and sigma 16mm. I did attach the moukey mic, help me balancing little bit to the back. It’s works but not perfect balance. I saw someone post about making counterbalance for this set up and sell it on Etsy. I don’t know if I need that? Or maybe if you don’t mind share some tips.
I don’t use any counter weights and my lens in heavier than the sigma. I just push the camera as far back as I can and that’s how I’ve been able to balance it.

Can you use the Sony ZV-1 with its screen fully flipped out on this gimbal?
Oh yeah to problem! I was using the zv1 to record so I didn’t show this but you can have a mic on it as well and it still balances since the motors are so strong.
@@MrGabzki I balance it with the screen flipped out. Once it’s on you’re good to go with in and out screen 📺

Thanks! I’ve heard lots of complaints on the wifi causing the camera to dim and limited functionality on the m2. I’d get the g6 max. Spec wise it beats the m2 and it grows with you. You saw it balance my heavy camera setup. Setup your shot before hitting record and you’ll be happy with the g6max

Why you should fully charge the battery before powering on the time?
Power the gimbal first and then camera so the gimbal controls the camera from the get go

My Feiyutech G6Max suddenly won't power on. But if I connect to a power bank or on a wall charger it will power on, and it will turn off if ai disconnect from the power bank or wall charger. In short, it won't power on by itself using it's own battery on the gimbal. Is there any way I can fix this one? :(
Have you let the gimbal fully charge? Try connecting to the app maybe there are firmware updates needed.
@@ChrisFlores22 yes, I've fully charged the gimbal but same thing happens, it just wont power on without external source of power. :( Regarding on updates, I think same thing will happen but I'll check it out.
