You dont really see many VW bugs being built anymore. At least not what we seen in the 90s. Its not a bad piece to start with. Good video keep em coming
I've owned my bug for around 15 years. Been doing a solid pan off restoration over the last two years. There's probably not a single part I don't recognise or haven't worked on. The part you refer to sits under the bonnet/hood in the middle up by the dash, and the vents in the bonnet align with the top of it. There's a surprising amount of parts that make up these cars. I've got a few videos documenting my restoration if you want to check them out. Might help with somethings. If not just ask and I'll be happy to help.
