We both solidly agree on that U.S. milled block of steel that the German masters don’t even manufacture in that unparalleled way ! Stamps are fine but solid steel milled out blocks are going to lifelong fire and operate as a case hardened piece of powerfully compounded art❤
That’s a folded slide. 220 started the stainless slides around 1997-1998. My guess is that it’s a mid to late 90s. Some of the west German marked guns were still assembled after east and west Germany united in 1990 , I have a two tone p228 with west German markings and marked 1991 because they still had a tone of the slides assembled with that w. German marking post the unification
My dad and I bought some west German sigs off a collector years ago. And my dad ended up with a 220 with the heel mag release. It’s a early one not sure of the year on it
