True review, semi's are not for ever body, being left handed having cartridges hit you in the head is not fun,the extra cost to get a left hand model is so of putting....
I bought a used Benelli Montefeltro semi auto recently, just for something different when I didn't want to take my CG Invictus V out. I bought a magnetic stick before I fired a shot, so I could pick up my shells easily as it really irritates me when people don't bother. If I go on a stand and shoot 8 shots, I pick up at least 8 shells off the ground, although I don't mind if they're my 8 or somebody else's, as it means I have not actually contributed to the mess. It's a bit different and fun to shoot, but I still prefer the O/U as it's less faff, both loading and picking up. I had to 3D print a 3/4" extension to make it a sensible length.
@@roymartingunsmiths814 thank you for explaining that better we must have similarly habits( tryout more than one auto kinda hate-them in shotgun-mode, something different like a DE-50/1911 pistol isn't bad though but range/hunting season id rather be 1750 models or cowboy actions or magnum500 ect ) but my favourite is a 12G 36inch-barrel's ( London uk FOX's-LLC look's nice/other's-like-it but way to $$$/fragility for myself/2C's ) Winchester 1880's-1940 smokeless model 21 twin-triggers-SxS not forwards+backwards/or/single-triggered/safeguarded next pick is a remington 1870 1950's-model-fancy's RIP nam* vet loved bennelys ( 2006 catalogues to get a better look at his ) and or auto and or the M4 models with blueing+wood'd after that was a plastic/fo-wood'd X-cop 870/nock-off units
Good honest review imo. Used beretta autos for years in the pigeon hide, more recently an A400 action. No issue with how they shoot, but the spewing shells everywhere got tiresome along with the lower reliability saw me back on the trusty o/u a good few years back now and the auto has stayed in the cabinet ever since! Would never even consider spending 2.5k on one, the one you reviewed not to my taste at all either but that’s purely subjective. Also choke wise, I kill some mega birds through quarter choke in the first barrel with the 29g 6 superfast pigeon…..shot placement is key and don’t think you need a lot of choke in a pigeon hide!
Good honest review of the benelli. I'd venture that the muscle memory you have built up with your CG and the Kemen would make it feel a bit on the whippy side.💪💪💥💥
Where is boss man’s pigeon coat 🤦🏼♂️🤣 great vid as always mate. I’m not a fan of auto’s or pumps but I am wanting to try a hush power for around the barns at home.
@@roymartingunsmiths814 I think you'll like it more than the Benelli. I have a M2 as well, and I understand what you're saying. It doesn't bother meafter I'vefired a few. You just need to be more #targetfocusedlife 😉 Hope you're well and fully mended.
Hmmm. Title is a little click bait. Taken issue with your conclusions. 1. Price. Many other very good semi autos out there, gas alternatives not even mentioned. So picking one of the most expensive guns to compare to an OU as an overall comparison, is a bit misleading. Especially as to many the semi may look better than the OU. 2. Fit. Like any gun. It either does or doesn’t. No mention of spacers or stock alterations or the fact a semi is typically expected to be used whilst wearing thick clothing. 3. The twang. That’s a plastic stock. No mention of wood alternatives etc. Being a semi it will sound and operate differently. Again preference. First time I’ve been disappointed by one of your videos. If I were cynical there’s a load more money to be made selling an OU…..
Also ref the cartridges being ejected. It is the same for OU users. I see them eject cartridges straight out of their gun to see how far they will fly then left there. Not an exclusive issue to semi auto shooters.
1. We are reviewing the gun in the video not any others. 2. Benelli don’t offer a spacer system included in the guns price. 3. Again we are reviewing the gun in the video and giving an honest review in my experience.
Problem is the shooter not the firearm . No shotgun ejects in the same manner . Not even pumps , have both .. Someone is just too lazy to get their spent rounds ...
The model being used can be for hunting but most of the time used for sporting clays or etc. Non-hunting events. In the USA, he would be tossed in the water if he came into a duck blind with that.
Everyone blames the semi's but I've seen plenty of ou users just eject cases without picking them up

Behind , behind and oh yes Behind.........
the main reason i got rid of my semi lobbing shells all over
You need to take out a Beretta or FabArms auto out. I cannot get my head around a Benelli especially what they did to Tom Knapp here in the states.
And then , UP down Around and All over the place , lol..
Best shot hunting video 👍
Good job my friend 😊 from Indonesian 💯👌
Thank you
Expensive new...as you say.. Brill buy 2nd hand though.

It was far too warm for him to be in it unfortunately bud
@ bless him. He does look smart in it though 😏👀
3" superior steel at goose with o/u will change your mind about autos. 😂
I tried that in our Kinnerton Duck Day video, I was tender after
what choke bro?
Its 3/4 . he says in the first minute of the video
3/4 to begin with and then dropped down to 1/2
As for the twang, A400. No twang. 😉
I’ve not had my hands on one yet

The title isnt correct then!@roymartingunsmiths814
Is that the World Cup model?
This one is just the standard SuperSport

Great video as always.. just really starting out with my UA-cam channel, any chance of joining you sometime for a round of clays?
A clay day is something I am looking at setting up in the near future
I am not sure that red cocking handle is a good idea - it is un-safe as it looks like a Chamber flag is in the gun !
