The New P365 Fuse is yet another conceal carry added to the lineup. The Original P365 changed conceal carry forever but is the P365 just being milked or is there a legitimate purpose for the Fuse?

You know somebody's gonna put this slide on a 10 rd frame lol.
Already seen in on an XL grip module. The spring was visible.
@@cin426 that’s what I’d do
The Glock 43XXL was pretty fun (48 slide on a 43 frame)
I hate to think like this but I think my p320’s are becoming more obsolete with every new p365 variant coming out
Ya, tell me about it! I love my P320 X5 Legion, but the Compact I carry... I'm thinking of selling it for one of these, but not sure which, there's so many.... I think I want the Tacops..
@OldSolidSnake what's the difference?
I am mean it was smaller.but now it's literally the same gun...
@@Zephyrd08 p320’s are trash !
@dylanvanhoorne3191 it's thinner and thus easier to carry IWB.
Exactly. Honestly I love my p320 AXG, but the p365's are taking over.
It's sort of like cell phones. We put so much effort into making them smaller, then we keep making them bigger forgetting why we made them small.
@@Mrclean308 I'm pretty sure once they figured out you could watch porn on your phone they started getting bigger again. 🤣🤣
@@uurkisme Manufacturers had actually anticipated this, and had the large porn screen hardware ready to release as soon as data plans were able to support relatively glitch free video streaming.
lol
I don’t think this is really for IWB concealment. Y’all are missing the point. The p365 is a platform that you can change very easily. This is not for concealing inside the waistband, they have many other configurations for that. This is for a full size home defense gun or range gun, or outdoor carry gun, but not for comfortable concealed carry. The beauty of the p365 is you can use the slide assemblies from the other models and easily swap them out onto the different frames
I was thinking the same. Like the new sxg frame for the p320. Lighter guns were supposed to be the goal now we are going heavier.
If you guys think that this gun was made strictly for concealment, you’re all crazy. Listen carefully anyone in law-enforcement knows that there are people that will use this as their main duty weapon. But it’s also a gun that you could conceal if need be. It’s going to be a do all gun not just strictly concealment, and hats off to them for being innovative
Yes sir. Just bought mine on J4. Have a bit over 300 rounds through it. I would use it as a duty gun and I can conceal(especially in the cooler months) easy.
Exactly either they’re stupid or they’re just acting like they don’t know. This obviously isn’t made for comfortable inside the waistband concealment. There are already SEVERAL models and configurations for that purpose.
The 365 is a weapon system, as evidenced by the myriad changes to the platform.
It offers options and is not a one-size-fits-all. I have several. One started as a 365lX , one as an X-Macro Comp and one as a Custom Works . Most are now set up as X-Macro TacOps with either 3.7" or 4.3" threaded barrels, and without the magwell. Once you own an FCU, one can quickly assemble a weapon specific to a task, from deep concealment to nearly full-sized duty. Soon, the 365 Raider chassis will be available with 6 inch barrels, which will add still more functionality.
Nope. They’re just recreating the same pistol with $50 magazines.
@@grantorino2009 😆 I mean, isn't that just about every manufacturer?
It's almost as if Sig is building out the 365 platform to replace the (problematic) 320 platform 😐
@@eric_brooks i wonder if you can take an M17 pistol and put a p365 fire control module into it
The Fuse is the "Duty" entry into the P365 lineup. Slimmer / trimmer than a P320 but identical in capacity.

Anyone else hate the name "Fuse"? I was expecting something like P365 Big and Tall.
@daltonburroughs3811 P365 Husky XL Optics Ready (plates not included of course)
I was expecting something like P365 XXL Macro.
P365 fs(full size) aka FUllsiZE
P365 XLT
I feel like they basically fused the P320 and a P365, I think Fuse works.
I’m guessing this is a way to have an alternative to the 320 that isn’t dangerous to the owner of it.
Replacement with these would be cheaper than recalling the 320s
My p320 is completely safe lmao
old news ....you really need to get off that train.
It’s clear the gun companies have ran out of ideas…
Honestly this has been the worst 2 years ever for firearms.. We didn't get a 4" compact echelon or the upcoming cz p10c. Smith&Wesson hasn't released a m&p 3.0 and glock hasn't improved their products. There's really nothing to be excited about. The p365 fuse doesn't even make sense because it's so big that you might as well buy a regular compact sized pistol. You could buy something like a 4" m&p compact with an apex trigger kit and it would absolutely destroy this p365 fuse in every way. Why anyone would buy this pistol is beyond me.
Maybe someone with smaller hands would benefit from a slimmer grip but still wants a full length slide and grip. Not everyone is built the same.
@@Shenmue06 ok
@@Shenmue06close to full
Size thin gun. 365 fcu so you can scale it down if you want. So potentially the owner could swap between. I personally wouldn’t or would want to but I guess that’s the idea.
Flux legion is actually cool but yeah, it's getting tough.
Thanks, but I'll stick with my OG 365 with flush fit ten round mag. It goes literally everywhere with me.
Those serrations come straight from the Echelon, and that’s not a bad thing.
Looks more like it came straight from Staccato or Shadow Systems with the depth of a PDP.
FYI for those buying them they are coming without the enclosed Romeo X. I bought one thinking it was enclosed on pre-order and it wasn’t, but it was still only $200 more than without it so I’m happy but just in case anyone is wondering.
To me, this seems like a full/duty size gun for people with small hands.
This screams 365 duty gun to me. Conceal one of the smaller models, use this one as your overt/bedside
It’s kinda crazy how many people in the comments are complaining about having options for a carry gun. We literally live in the best times for firearms and people are STILL complaining. Sad
What about the people complaining about the complainers?
I’ve said for years that the 365 would be able to replace the P320, at least in 9mm. You can take a P365 FCU in a full sized pistol, but you can’t make a P320 as small as a 365.
There are plenty of p365 options for carry. A full size option allows small people to use a handgun in a category that isn't easy accessed by said people.
Nothing WRONG with options.
Only stupid people would hate a corporation that is always innovating and giving customers multiple versions of a product.
Exactly these people cry for new shit, different stuff. Then when companies make new and different stuff they scream why are you making new and different stuff.
Only stupid people would call recreating the same pistol 1000 times innovative.
I rest my case.
@grantorino2009 so there's the base version, the X and XL, the macro, and now the full size fuse. 4 maybe 5 version, 6 if you really want to get picky. A lot less than other pistols that have more versions with less differences. Theres a 365 for you no matter your hand size now. You people that over exaggerate constantly are the stupid ones. Refer to my first comment.
@@grantorino2009 .
Having been in a couple of gunfights, I can tell you, running out of ammo is WAY scarier than the actual gunfight. My last gunfight before I retired was with two bad guys and I went through all 3 of my mags (52 rds) and transitioned to my backup before it ended
I’ll probably pick up the next version, never buy the first. And can’t believe they put a crappy fiber optic sight on the front.
Those 365 flat faced triggers sit so far forward in the trigger guard. Looks like it could be a tight fit for gloved fingers
It is. I kept mine with the original curved trigger. Excellent observation!
Maybe if you wear welding gloves

I enjoy the fact that some companies are doing a fair amount of tinkering with their offerings. There will never be a gun that is perfect for everyone and while some companies don’t appear the be super innovative for some people they might be the ideal weapon for their store of shooting. Sig, SW, Taurus, and a few others are always thinking in terms of change. I think this new Sig configuration will please many consumers. Thanks for the video my dude!
Thanks man
This was the whole purpose of this FCU and with the 320 FCU. Being able to customize the build around the FCU.
The first SIG I bought was a 45 caliber P220 that was marketed as the "Browning BDA" in 1980. Both couldn't be more different yet great shooters.
I was born in 1980 I'm 44 today
😢@@Ricky043Congratulations. I guarantee the next 20+ years will fly by incredibly fast. I ended up soon selling the SIG ,(marketed by Browning at the time.) to help pay my tuition. Acquiring spare magazine was also difficult and expensive. I had to return the first because they sent me a 9mm mag but my pistol was a 45. I sold it to a local cop who later became our city's police chief and coincidentally the department (by mid to late 80s) transitioned from their old S&W model 66 revolvers to SIG P226 in 9mm.
I fiddled around with the Fuse at the gun store yesterday. I already have a bunch of 365 variants, so I didn’t even consider buying it. I’m gonna buy a few 21rd magazines and call it a day. Fuse is too big for how I currently carry guns, but I did like the grip module.
I prefer my current 365 setups, which are macro grip modules rocking the shorter 365x slides.
I have an Icarus Precision aluminum macro module and a macro comp/romeo X compact slide arriving tomorrow, so that will be the largest 365 variant I will carry.
Funny you made a video on this, I was researching it. It's going to be my EDC and first Sig!
The extra 1/10 inch of height is because the fuse has taller sights than the Macro
I can't wait for the Legion version of the Fuse next year. 🤣
Excellent video & insightful commentary! Really appreciated the side-by-side comparisons, but would also have liked to see how the Fuse compares to a Glock 19 & Colt Government Model. Thanks!
I can't wait for my P365 long slide hunter in 10mm. 😀

@@lililililililili8667 Not in MY hands!
I'll pass, thanks.
6 months everyone goes WILD for the fuse XL!!!!!!!!
As an armed security guard this might make a good duty carry weapon
I view the P320 as a firearm that might not be completely safe as a carry or duty firearm. There were problems with the weapon firing without the trigger being pulled. I see the new P365 Fuse as being a carry gun that is made for small or medium sized hands to be the “slim” choice as a duty gun
Exactly! I think a lot of people are missing that point. It’s a full size for not full size people lol aka ME! I’ve got medium-ish hands and have been wanting a full size gun. I have a Canik rival but wanted something more of a “duty” gun. I was very close to settling on the Echelon but then this came out. Gonna stop by my ffl next week to see when they can get one in the shop
for people who don't know how to handle a gun maybe....i own several and never had a problem with any of them.
@@IneptSystem I am glad you like them. I will stick with the 226’s
I have an OG 10rd P365 and I want the 21 rd mag for backup!!
Given the pistol's modularity, I plan to get another 10rd P365, then buy additional grips and barrel assemblies to suit whims.
In the meantime, the Fuse makes me think of the Browning Hi-Power for service-pistol compactness.
I just use hockey tape feels so sweet and gets the job done. try it
@@ThatGuy-zt6po 👍
So compared to my G17, its 0.2 inches thinner and mags (factory to factory), are an extra $40 each. Yeah, no.
And two of the mags carry four more rounds. How much would it cost to convert Glock 17 mag to 21 round mag? I still agree the sig mags are overpriced, but they become comparable when you try to add a few more rounds to a stock Glock 17 mag.
Magpul makes 21 and 27 round mags for between $15 and $17 for Glock, and i’ve never had an issue. I carry OEM. I use them shooting steel at my club. If its not factory, you can trust Magpul. Glock OEM 19s and 33s are $29. So myth busted.
However, i see no purpose for more than flush fit for anything but play. The only reason I carry a spare mag is in case a mag fails. Not for an extra 17 rounds, because before that 17+1 runs out, you already either won or lost.
And have like a hundred of them, because I’ve been buying them since before the Clinton magazine ban when they were $13.
@freesaints Glock has a 24 round OEM mag. As low as $25 on sale.
Forgot about that one. Think $29 regular price as well. So yeah. $50 - $70 for this privilege of buying Sig mags is out of line
I think Sig released the fuse as striker fired competition to the Stacatto C and CS.
LOL imagine that... Sig thinking they're even in the same ball park.
Ill take my Echelon over this anyday. Sig pushes out products that are NOT tested correctly.
It’s a platform. Make it big, make it small. Make it whatever you want. Not really hard to appreciate.
This feels like they put a Pic rail and threaded barrel on a Liberator. They took a small, simple, concealable backup gun and treated it like a full-size service pistol.
I stopped at the XL oerfect size for concralment and just empught grip. Mix it with magguts for 14+1 flush and thats a great combo
SIMPLE: It's a thinner G17/47; that's what it is. And also the end (replacement) to the Sig320 in the civilian market.
Imagine this thing taking over the 320 as a duty weapon
Thanks for doing the side by side comparison. Was hoping you would’ve done a side by side with full size guns as well, like the p320, p226, g17….etc.
I got a lot Sigs and Glocks and honestly for me I like my Kimber R7 Mako. Stock trigger is 3.5lbs. It’s less recoil than the guns in that category like the 43x, Hellcats, and Sigs.
Soon, P365 XMacro fuse comp
this gun was made for the 365 raider from flux, 21 rd mags in a mini pdw... so sweet
What's getting out of hand? The aftermarket already had answers for this, and Sig just followed. For those of us who know, people compete with Sig P365's, and there are small handed shooters who like this size of gun.
More options are not bad.
The P365 Fuse , like the P365 but completely different.
I want to see this upper on the axg frame. I love the cut.
Anyone who complains about Sig offering too many models in this product family are simply lying to themselves about what the real issue is... YOU and your lack of self control.
I feel that the X-Macro, and now the Fuse, open the P365 to be used in a duty roll.
Waiting for the AXG grips for this.. With normal tritium sights.
I want a comped one that has a ported barrel like the new hellcat
Fiber optic is a downgrade. Just wait till all the cool kids get through with the initial rush to buy, and the variants that take materials away from the firearm and charge double for it come out. Threaded barrels, night sights all the cool cuts to make it lighter. It looks like the front of the slide is already marked for the cut out.
I'm still partial to the plain P365. My wife has one and I'm planning on getting one. What I _do_ wish is that it was a little more customizable. Been eyeing the Wilcon Combat version. For something the size of the Fuse, I really like my Springfield.
Looks cool and certainly nice having more options and glad Sig is doing stuff, but foe ccw, gotta stick with the P365 and P365XL/specre comp.
I felt it in my hands today felt super stiff racking the slide mag well was loose and the frame has way to much play / wobble at the rail
Happing all the time you buy a hellcat 3 months later the pro comes out.I got a X10 in November 5 months later they come out with the X10 comp
Thanls but defeats the idea of the small concealed carry gun. If you have small hands, maybe go instead of a full sized gun.
So many great choices of sidearms I’m of the opinion if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Unless it’s throwing lasers instead of lead I’m good
its like they are trying to increase the size of it to replace the 320 eventually, maybe because of the bad press on it lately....although unwarranted in my opinion
Nope! Love it but it really needs a version with an XL slide length 3.7” barrel and the macro style integrated slide comp on the end.
Equipping a police department with Sig 365-systems would give the uniformed officers the 365 Fuse, detectives/plain clothes officers the 365X/XL with or without the comp, and undercover officers the basic 365, or mix and match for individual officers. I have a P365X with ambidextrous safeties with a Holosun EPS-Carry and a Streamlight TLR-7 SUB that I carry in a We The People OWB paddle holster. Right now I only have the 12-round magazines because the 15/17/21 round magazines are a bit pricey. I can carry this without aggravating my sciatica, and the P365X has replaced my Tisas M1911A1 US Army in 9mm and my S&W M&P9 2.0 5" FDE with ambidextrous safeties as my open carry gun while also working for concealed carry. (The sciatica makes IWB carry problematic, and I will not carry AIWB.)
Im still hoping mag guts does something for the 17 rnd mags
The way SIG seems to be going with the 365s, I wouldn't be surprised to see it eventually supercede the 320 altogether.
Great marketing scheme, too. After the military finishes switching completely over to the M17/M18, SIG could come along and talk 'em into trading the troublesome 320 based M17/M18s for various versions of the 365. 😋😁
Same for LE.
And Who Paid for those shits.
@@stevewhisperer6609 thought that for a year or so, especially with undercover or specialty details. The issue with the 365 is the mags aren’t all interchangeable, I imagine sig fixing this issue with the entire lineup in a few years.
My p365 w an extened 15 r magazine is still concealable and tho its not quite 17 rnds its close enuf.
Mines an original 10rd piece, and I have no plans on changing - but theres more to it than just capacity. Larger grips, longer sight radius, the flared mag well - things that suck for concealment but do well if you're trying to put a lot of rounds on target quickly at longer ranges.
Kudos to Sig for being innovative….if you don’t like it don’t buy it. If you do then rush out and get it. Things trend big to small, then small to big. Glock left in the dust again and now M&P has introduced ported new models. Still can’t beat the Macro size in my opinion, but choices are great!
One of the few Sigs I find interesting.
I’ll stick with my shield plus pc. It’s going to take something outrageous to get that one out my waistband.
Is yours the 4in?
I wanna get the 2.0 ambidextrous older one the newer ones aren't ambidextrous I don't believe

@@escoliarthgaming243 the 2.0 compact is a phenomenal gun too. Better texture than a G19 and comes with better sights. I just wish my version had night sights. They are replacing the 43X??? Do please tell 🙏🏽 I haven’t heard anything but would love an updated 43X
@@TRR56 I was thinking the same. I know they are fazing out the regular 43x and will only have the mos model. But a whole new update would be nice.
I hope they just come out with new magazines
@@cin426 yeah they are sitting on a goldmine just making OEM 15rd mags.
They definitely aren't replacing the 43x. What they're doing is getting rid of the regular 43x, and only making the 43x with a light rail. So the only options you have between 43x with rail and 43x MOS - that's it. You guys really think Glock was about to innovate on their platform? LOL!
There's a reason I fell out of love with Glocks and on to M&Ps. Hell I'll take a good solid Glock clone over an OEM gun ANY day.
@@truthseeking3818 yeah I ventured into PDPs this year and realized there are fantastic striker fired outside of Glock. If Walther makes a slimline PDP I’ll have no use for Glock.
What do you mean by Glock is swapping them out? Are you talking about the magazines? Are you talking about a new model of 43X? Please explain.
To me Sig OEM triggers are some of the mushiest crap I've ever felt. The reset is super nice and crispy and then the actual trigger break is a spongey roll fest.
Shield Plus 4'' Performance Center with an Overwatch Precision TAC at 2.8lbs will continue to be my EDC until something else more compelling comes along. As far as I'm concerned that hasn't happened yet. 2 extra rounds is a nice extra but not really that compelling to be honest. I'll take the ergonomics and trigger + slimmer silhouette.
This 365 pistol is almost like the Honda Civic that just kept getting bigger and bigger over the years until it’s competing with an accord the way this is competing with the 320.
It is a 320.just a money grab for guys who buy everything new
So it used to be we had full size, compact and sub-compact handguns. Then someone had the idea of making them slightly smaller and thinner so they are more concealable and invents the micro-compact; fair enough.
But then some people find the micro-compacts to small and snappy, so they start making slightly larger "XL" versions of the micro-compacts. And now they are making them larger still, so that the grip is large enough to fully fill your hand? Am I taking crazy pills?!?
looks like sig is trying to take a compact and make it a race gun.
The recoil looks massive. That’s surprising is it really bad?
Just his grip
It’s basically just the 320 Lite at this point
It a full size p365 you aren’t suppose to deep conceal it that’s what the normal micro p365 is for.
It's a joke to have these guns be so big when they're meant for self defense
I was hoping for the P365 BAG - What you pay or the size of the weapon…. BIG ASS GUN.
It’s a nice pistol, but what is point if you have the 365 xl Marco? Definitely too large for concealed carry!
I’m not spending another dime on p365 stuff til there’s a full 5” upper.
Get an M&p 5''. You won't look back.
So, pretty much making the 320 obsolete, at a high price.
Sweet!!!!!! Can't afford another PEW PEW. Darn it😅
They are making a entry compitition gun / duty gun
Is the magwell size under the size needed to still be allowed in Carry Optics USPSA? Is the 21 round mag + gun short enough to be legal in USPSA Carry Optics OR does both that and the Magwell make it Limited Optics, in which case no point as you're up against Shadow 2s and 2011s in that division.
My god people will buy anything.
Sig is milking the consumers for every last dime
Hmmmm, I think I'll stick with my spectre comp, which I love, and if I ever get to choose my duty gun I'll go with the Sao 226 legion. Yes, that's my current plan.
I like the looks of it, but I really don't need it. I already have a P365XL, P226 XFive Legion, P229 Legion SAO,
P320 XFive Legion, etc. I'm more interested in adding the P320 AXG XFive Legion.
The Fuse us priced lower than the x macro im seeing it on some sites for $699

I would imagine 99.99% of your
(non police / military) viewers have also never been involved in a gunfight !
Thank God ! 😂
P320 replacement? Especially if you add the XXL and XXXL grip modules from 3rd party manufacturers.
If sig had put the integrated comp, a tungsten guide rod, and make it in a more attractive color.. They could just shut up and take my money.
A green, or pink option for the enclosed optic would also be really nice for my colorblind eyes
I've been in the market looking for another carry gun. Out of hundreds of videos, Sig has been the company with the worst independent reviews of all other manufacturers combined. Seems like some really big performance, reliability, longevity issues. They were the first company to get scratched off my list of potentials.
I bought one and noticed that the Romeo x is the old version [not enclosed]... do you know if they're supposed to come with the enclosed and did I get scammed by my gunstore
Nope, Sig faked everyone out in a shady move by sending all the promo guns with the enclosed emitter and then swapping it for the market release
Compare it to a Canik TP9 MOD 2
I put my Sig P365 Spectracomp purchase on hold in order to see a real review on the Fuse. So, let's go!
Y'all, which would you purchase?
My EDC is P320 .40 s&w compact M black over olive green, with tritium sites. I love my current edc.
I'd get the spectre comp, You can carry it a lot more places, and still add a 17 rd mag when you want.
