This video really adds a lot to have Wags explain the contents of the clip. I hope one day we will see an AC-130H Gunship variant of the Hercules and also an eventual F-14D Tomcat. I want a digital cockpit F-14 even if they have to embellish a bit.
I’m not 100% that a AC-130 is in the works, but the guys working on the C-130 have 3d models of several components that would mount on Spectre gunship. Here’s hoping!
Yes defiantly would want an h/u over a w .the bushmaster is nice but gau12, bofors40mm, an a 105 com on you couldn't ask for more while flying over Iraq then that, an the 4 bladed props are cool as well
next time question for wags guys, or Nick grey if you have him on at all. Will ED update Caucasus with new mountains, trees, update to city scapes and lighting? not looking for an expansion (though that would be awesome too)
Does anyone have the video saved, where Wags is representing the M1 Abrams new 3D model, the track physics modeling, acceleration, breaking, the interior parts etc? This was at the time when ED was searching a SME of M1 Abrams to make it a full fidelity module, around 2014-2015?
OMG. DCS is another level. Back when I had my computer/Internet store I use to have a Thursday night head to head with the JANES Flight simulators network together locally. Online over wifi wasn't ready yet, so direct network was the only real connection for the speed between computers. That was 25 years ago, so looking at DCS is next level. Someday, maybe.
Love DCS, and the community. Looking forward to the Eurofighter, the F-4 Phantom, and the Dynamic Campaigns. :) The sim is beautiful. It is impossible for another sim to surpass DCS. :) Long live DCS. :)
It would be a dream come true for a player based ground force doing a raid in fully functional vehicles and with fully functional gear in houses that are actual houses, while being supported by air forces that are helping defend them from an enemy that does more then scatter left and right and remain stationary and can fight back.
This looks way cool to a nonpilot (me). I live next to the decommissioned Mather AFB. I get to see most planes on final which include military aircraft such as C-130, C5, A4, T-38, and every now and again F15 or F16. At work there is view of the final from the north side so I get to see the pilots do touch and gos to get their hours in A4s and T38s. Always in pairs. We are close to Beale AFB so once in a while I get to see U2 fly around. We are also aboutv50 miles from Travis AFB so the pilots get their hours in by using Mather. I could watch all these planes all day. But we have a mtg table and my seat looks out yhe window and get to watch those T38s and A4s all meeting. Thank you for your videos.
"Launch weather rookie." LOL. My second solo skydive. 4500ft. Big cloud just coming under the aircraft and I thought, "Nah, they'll go around again.". Then the engine cut to idle and I got the thump on the back. "Okay", jump straight into the cloud. 1000, 2000, 3000, Looked up and ALL I could see was my chute. Looked down.... ping pong ball. IFR. Note. Clouds are not "light and fluffy". They are cold and wet and they hit your eyes like tiny little ice crystals which is fairly painful at 80 odd knots.
Knowing the end goal is full scale war sim is amazing. Imagine being the actual jtac guy. You’re in a big skirmish and you call in air support from a couple a10s or apaches and it takes the real travel time from wheels up to bombs away is going to be erection inducing
Great video guys! I am really looking forward to the new content and features of this simulator. Wags, I have a question: Will there ever be a usable version of the AGM-130/GBU-15, for the F-15E Strike Eagle like it was shown in the 2023 and Beyond video? If there is, is there a release date? If not, that's cool. I was just wondering! Again great video, and keep up the great work you are doing with DCS. You are giving people a chance to live out their dreams of flying combat planes they may have not been able to fly for whatever reason in life. And you are giving Veterans the ability to continue mission without having to rejoin, which is awesome! I believe you are doing more than you realize for a lot of people with the work you are doing. Thank you and God Speed buddy! 😎
This might sound grusome, but for infantry, you gotta be able to add en-mass. Adding single soliders is no fun. Your finger would be sore by the time you get enough to feed one hog!
To answer Wobat's question there is a triangle on the nose of the E-2 because it is modeled after AA1 and AA2 the very first 2 E-2D's ever built. When are they going to update the E-2 to AAR ? Also when are they going to move the nose of the E-2 out of the landing area on the boat???
I'd rather have them talk about the things we don't see that much, AI, ATC, Campaign engine, missing planning interface, data cartridges etc. What's a nice world with cool fighter jets if you can't engage with it? A sandbox?
Can you imagine players playing as ground troops like infantry, teaming up with fighters and attack aircraft in the sky to coordinate attacks on objectives, and even to win entire campaigns?!! Now that is a real sandbox sim, and I believe that it will soon give Arma, and other FPS a run for their money.
AWESOME! 😎 I was wondering why there are no USA maps, like the NAVAL AIR STATION LEMOORE, where everything starts, I always wanted to accomplish the entire process of becoming a fighter pilot form the ground up. I was thinking about a CAREER CAMPAING, going from props, T45, F18 at Lemoore carrier training, and until one pass all the requirements you are not allowed to go to the carrier to be certified and become part of squadron. Thanks for DCS Cheers!
I started playing DCS 6 months ago and boy I'm enjoying it! I'm so hyped up for what's coming I'm already putting together a new PC. It ain't cheap and risking a divorce here, but it's well worth it! lol
While obviously impressive graphics it'd be hard to mistake for real in the close in shots of aircraft. I think they could vastly improve this by making the planes less shiny as they just look super shiny in all the photos while real ones generally aren't apart from the nose cone and cockpit. Maybe oversaturation in post or too many reflections in the engine.
Hey the trailer of the Bollywood movie Fighter has dropped (you have already reacted to its teaser) you should check it out. And ps: its Bollywood so don't think too much accuracy and realism since there would hardly be any, but it would be a fun watch!
I would have never guessed Bagram from wither of my deployments there. Wonder what year they are going off of, because it doesn't resemble anything I remember from 14-16
Great interview and commentary. Gotta offer a small correction though..., it's not Bagram. It's Baghdad. Bagram is surrounded by mountains. Baghdad is flat as hell. Google Earth 33°16'04"N 44°14'21"E Pic is approximately hovering over Rwy 15L, Look 196° elevation about 35m Looks awesome though! Can't wait to fly over the swimming pool scouting for USAF babes in bathing suits!
Hey there very interesting vid also well explained but a question for @C.W. Lemoine how do you fly multiplayer with just friends...??...I'd like to fly with mine but i don't know how....can you give me pls the informations i need...would be very NOICE Thanks a lot
Wow, looking forward to this. I believe you went over the hardware needed/recommended, a ways back...if so I'll find it. That being said, with the newest release, what would you recommend for a flight stick, etc if different from any previous videos? Perhaps an idea for another video, DCS hardware for budget and also upgraded hardware. Take care fellas, thanks for the awesome content.
Wags, do you guys need some actual scenarios, videos and anything else for the Apache in the Afghanistan campaign? If so, have mover give you my contact info.
Daggone....graphics are sick. So you mentioned RTX cards and shadows....you aren't helping my conservative GPU upgrade..lol Are you seeing a much higher quality with RTX over Radeon like the 7900 XT? I'm toying with the idea of the 4070 super over the 7900.
I don't understand why they are being so cryptic about whats coming ... and then lay it out in a later third party video ... I tune out when I have to watch a video 20 times to figure out what's coming. Still addicted to DCS though. 😅
"Hey everyone, Wags here from Eagle Dynamics" is my alarm clock sound.
Looking forward to DCS offerings. They just keep getting better. It just keeps driving my search for better video cards. Long live DCS!
I got a better video card so I could use DLSS and my cockpit lights and MFD's are still blurry. Ridiculous.
The WW2 pacific era has me so excited. Seeing an Essex with a deck full of Corsairs is just wonderful. I genuinely cannot wait!!
playable infantry in DCS is going to be wild.
Exactly my mates who don't fly but like fps will even join now
Will be a dream
I think Wags meant to say "Glowing Amraam" when he said Cato at 24:10 . Growling Sidewinder is the youtube and Cato makes the trailer videos
Great stuff for the guy who is recreating Red Storm Rising on DCS.
The dream collaboration would be DCS on the aircraft, Steel Beasts for the tanks/APCs, and ARMA for the infantry in a single simulator.
Maybe a mix between squad and ARMA for inf
GHPC does pretty good tanks aswell
Always nice to see you guys and especially you Wags. Always a pleasure to get some more information and hints what comming to DCS. Much appreciated 👍🏻
Thank you for giving us a look at how cool the future in DCS is going to be, just way to cool making me want to get into having some fun with DCS.
I have heard that for now 15 years... Do you know how it sounds today?
@@katumus you mean dcs like non promising in most of things!?
I'm absolutely thrilled for the F4 Phantom II.
A-6E !!! Thanks for showing my bird !

vtol-vr has one! Graphics are a little crappy but the gameplay is top notch! It's called the EF-24
Yes defiantly would want an h/u over a w .the bushmaster is nice but gau12, bofors40mm, an a 105 com on you couldn't ask for more while flying over Iraq then that, an the 4 bladed props are cool as well
@@travistolbert2647how do you guys make the scenes for these videos? It’s pretty impressive.
next time question for wags guys, or Nick grey if you have him on at all. Will ED update Caucasus with new mountains, trees, update to city scapes and lighting? not looking for an expansion (though that would be awesome too)
Oh man, can't wait for all this stuff! Great update for DCS in 2024.
So cool you guys got Wags on the channel with you
Damn good. I remember LockOn times... now DCS is much outstanding 😊
Did not know Orbx was in on DCS now that’s great news, 5 minutes in and already so much info I didn’t know
I had nailed it as Bagram. Spent enough time there, it was instantly recognizable!
The 214 are certainly eager for the Pacific and the footage is looking really good. Year of the Corsair and hellcat here we go! 🤞
This was awesome. BTW, talking about movies made in DCS, JP Ferre's "Bulldogs" is legendary.
Yes! JP Ferre does some incredible videos! His Right Stuff video is amazing also!
I’m very excited for the A-7D/E Corsair II

Their was a few A-6 intruders who did Iron hand hunting Sams

I remember years ago there was Idea to create DCS:M1 Abrams. Would like to know if this is still somewhere in the ED's "todo" list.
I liked how the Iraq map announcement demonstrated seasonal changes within the map via the text. That was a nice touch.
can't wait for the eagle dynamics 2024 colouring book!
Wow wish I had a way to play it looks amazing 👍🏼🤠🇨🇦
4:48 they definitely don’t walk like this now
Ray and Path tracing would add so much to the environments
When X-Plane moved to the Vulcan API the graphic possibilities are almost limitless.
Teally hope razvaam gets there situation resolved they make amazing modules and we dont have the flogger or f15e fully done yet

Orbx coming to DCS! I’ve spent $$$$ on X-plane scenery. They are the best for scenery.

Stoked for Hellcat and Corsair!
SA-something... Great call there Gonk, super helpful! ;)
Wow never noticed the noticed the moving trees in the SA-6 segment before
DCS is going to be so awesome in 2 weeks

Super cool, but they also have to do the Denmark map if we are talking about the Nordic Union.
This might sound grusome, but for infantry, you gotta be able to add en-mass. Adding single soliders is no fun. Your finger would be sore by the time you get enough to feed one hog!
Question, someone mentioned “CALL TO DUTY” and you guys creating scenes for this video, how is this done?
6:23 Did the ORBX help ED with creating the terrain SDK? It sounds like one of the most logical explanation of this.

I want to ask Wags to make a new Apache video about mapping ALL binds, now that we've the FCR, how do i contact him?
Am I the only one thinking Wombat's perpetual quarter-smirk kinda makes him look like Same Lake / OG Max Payne?
I'd rather have them talk about the things we don't see that much, AI, ATC, Campaign engine, missing planning interface, data cartridges etc. What's a nice world with cool fighter jets if you can't engage with it? A sandbox?

Las time I checked Nevada was part of USA 😂😂😂
so is the oveall goal to fuse the destert maps all into a huge one ?
A-6E SWIP can absolutely shoot a Harm. 😊
Wow dcs is about to be the best battlefield game we never got!
The f4u and phantoms are my favorite also

That's because it's not Bagram. It's Baghdad. The grassy patch is the dead giveaway.
@AJsarge1 just going off what Wags said. Big Newy clarified it was Iraq and he misspoke.
Great interview and commentary.
Gotta offer a small correction though..., it's not Bagram.
It's Baghdad.
Bagram is surrounded by mountains. Baghdad is flat as hell.

Thanks for the vid! Sadly still no news on the Eurofighter :/
Last month they said it’s slowed down in development.
I’d imagine it’s really hard to get information on an aircraft still in service
Would love to see DCS get into submarine sim warfare. WW2 and/or modern.
5:53 So it will have Fulda gap?
I think the video editor Wags wanted to acknowledge was Glowing AMRAAM and not Growling Sidewinder.
Hey there very interesting vid also well explained but a question for @C.W. Lemoine how do you fly multiplayer with just friends...??...I'd like to fly with mine but i don't know how....can you give me pls the informations i need...would be very NOICE Thanks a lot
ED please come to FSA Conference this year.
Bring us a playable P-3C and an ASW campaign!
One day, that AH-64 will be flyable in the sim.. (Ill see my way out now)
IF DCS ever does a flyable bomber My vote is for a full Multi-Crew B-17G.
148th Duluth Vipers 🤘🏻
“Cave Canum” Go Bulldogs!!
what did they say @ min 1:54? Bogrum, Bogrun, Bugroom...?
Bagram
WOLF 🐺 PACK! Bagram is supposed to be closed still continues to this day in game!
Wait...did Wags say that Growling Sidewinder helped out with video production?
Pretty sure that was a mistake. Pretty sure it's still Glowing AMRAAM that makes the videos
Matt misspoke, small mixup:)
Glad you asked. I had the same question.
If it ain’t leaking it ain’t flying the motto of the A-7E squadrons.
Thanks, but I'll stick with Steel Beasts Pro PE.
If only the camera controls system could be like X-Plane
What's so funny, being an Army(ret) guy, you are not joking about USAF re: AWACS crews and helmets.
I hope dcs has the skyraider has a toilet that can be dropped off the plane. Also would be great to have the f14d tomcat in to.
Wow, looking forward to this.
I believe you went over the hardware needed/recommended, a ways back...if so I'll find it. That being said, with the newest release, what would you recommend for a flight stick, etc if different from any previous videos?

Take care fellas, thanks for the awesome content.
Shrike on the A6?
I was in an E-2 squadron. Rotodome mafia.
Quite excited about the mig 29.
17:08 / 20:50 So Hellcats in 2024. When we wil get the Zero?
Wags said we'd talk about it later. I took that to mean, yes.
How much of Afghanistan is included in the map? The entire country or just the NE provinces?
Gimme some WW2 carrier action! Gimme some Vietnam F-4 & napalm & MiG action! Gimme campaigns. Not enough campaingns.
Omg, fingers crossed the hardware providers keep up with all this content e.g. Winwing, Thrustmaster, Virpil etc.
The SEPv3 was the star of the show
Wags, do you guys need some actual scenarios, videos and anything else for the Apache in the Afghanistan campaign? If so, have mover give you my contact info.
So growling sidewinder works for dcs?
No he misspoke he meant to say glowing amraam
can we get the Iowa-class battleships?
Daggone....graphics are sick.
So you mentioned RTX cards and shadows....you aren't helping my conservative GPU upgrade..lol
Are you seeing a much higher quality with RTX over Radeon like the 7900 XT?
I'm toying with the idea of the 4070 super over the 7900.

"Can we fly THAT?"
