I like this new Intro 👍🏻
This is the best combo😀 I mean your guests are awesome but you three guys I could easily listen talking through a raisin bun receipe or pretty much any other topic for hours on end. Listened to this going to sleep last night and I was cracking up and smiling non stop. How is that not the best way to decompress before falling asleep? Big thanks!
I will say i really do love seeing wombat, if you guys could go to a 3 man full cast + 1 guest that would be perfect.
I did make them a “The Mover, Gonky, & Wombat Show” logo in the beginning, but unfortunately it was “shot down.” 😂🤷🏼♂️
You guys are unstoppable! Good things will happen because you create your own luck and opportunities. Never down and never out Wombat!
That new intro is awesome. Great show as always. It's always good to have Wombat back, he so needs an A-Team van😂. Poor Gonky took some knocks on the show but as always he keeps smiling.
Great MHM you guys are cheaper than therapy. Thanks again
Love the new waiting screen/intro wasn’t able to make the live but happy to catch the show after
Thank you for sharing Wombat
Thanks you for the support!!
Great intro. Great topics guys. Good to see wombat and Luna . Gonky, my grandson loves the book.
Great show, great intro and MHM. Thank you for another awesome show and glad to see everyone is doing 👍!
All your guests are great, but when Wombat is on, it's like the Three Amigos getting back together. You guys have that best friends feeling, we all grew up with going on. Fun show.
Retired AF here great show as always I feel like I've just been to my favorite bar
Guy’s, I love the new intro. It’s awesome. You guy’s look like Super Heroes. The old intro was awesome also.👍🏻👍🏻😎
Mental Health Mintue - Mover, your monologue toward Wombat's situation and in the public's general direction was humbling and touching. Educational, really. Makes realize how sparing I am with those I care about...how little I offer up support..maybe how little insight and compassion I've given lately. I've listened to this segment 3 times today. Thanks, fellas. I have some thinking to do.
@themoverandgonkyshow here is the SF museum Gonky was probably talking about. Yes it’s open 😉. Good things in SF, including Fleet Week.
Fly Swiss Air Force. TIGERS!
From a camper van owner who used to fly F-5s
You make me laugh it's great for my mental health.
True so much!
Doug Masters initially bought it horsing around west of Alaska. He fortunately came back a few sequels later.
Wombat always gives a great MHM. NICE to see Ms Luna
Excellent show. Thank you gentlemen
Man I love Wombat being the Chaos goblin of the show. I love him so much for it.
This video with the topic about overcoming changes and things not going the way you want to happen in life really hits home with me. You gentlemen have provided great advice, especially with Wombat and hearing his story. So thank you very much for sharing.
I’ve wanted to fly for the military since I was a kid and even now at 31 I still haven’t accomplished it due of struggling with school and being pilot and officer material. So I’ve always plagued myself with overthinking things such as about future options with wanting to still pursue my dream or just moving on and I am haunted by thoughts on what could have been if I got myself to do it right the first time. I have to keep reminding myself that there may not be a right way, and to own up to your my and keep moving forward is the key.
Well said Wombat!!!! Thanks for letting us in ( so to speak).
Great new intro! Looking forward to catching up on a full WOMBAT ep later :)
Lmfao. No free trips through my HUD!!!!!😂😂😂😂
Commanders don't care about retention. They care about power points
Navy commitment was four or five years up to the eighties. Another sign we are broke, ie, training command is woefully underfunded
Agree with Mover on the selling the Porsche comment. Don’t do it WOMBAT!!
A porsche might be fun but a van is freedom
@1:03:14 note, the Su-35 doesn’t use a big topside speedbrake like earlier Flankers. VVS jock might well have been trying to slow down from a botched join
Can you guys just DM or email Cleetus to have him on the show, he would be tickled to death to join and chat with a bunch of fighter pilots.
Na not a good option.
So happy to see the shout-out for Cleetus.
Time to start a petition to Make Mover and Gonky Read Red Storm Rising.
Seriously. It's a legendary book. I threw my copy at a dyslexic friend and it single-handedly turned him into a habitual reader. It. Is. That. Good. And it has TOMCATS.
It never even occurred to me that any of them had NOT read it!
Ah - the KC-10. I toured one with my family at one of the air shows at Travis AFB. I sat in a boom operator's seat, although the rest of my family got to sit in the cockpit while I took photos. It was odd too as one of the people waiting to get into the cockpit said she was a flight attendant and she said the coffee maker in the galley was the same kind that she remembered on DC-10s and MD-11s. At least for the tour they also had some of the modular seating in place.
That 9-1-1 episode was so bad I was thinking they were doing an Airplane! style comedy.
Hey Gonkey! Is everything 100% all the time? Never hear you say 70% 🤣
Great show guys!
Wombat is the missing link!!
Fragee-lay... it's a Major Award!
Mover, you don’t drive that much?? I guess you fly everywhere on a chopper??😎 just messing with yah. Love the show guy’s keep up the great work 👍🏻👍🏻
Extended service commitments will continue until morale improves!
for Chrome, try turning off "hardware accelerated rendering" in browser settings. unsure if it is the cause of your problem but it might help free up resources for your PC
Come on guys Airport 77… 747 crashes in the ocean and gets floated to the surface on air bags. 😊
Had airwolf continued to air for more seasons im sure they would had lifted more footage from top gun, iron eagle and eventually that shot of Astronauts lifting a satelite by hand .. because all Bellisario shows later ended up doing that
I can’t be the only one that now, EVERY single time a Tomcat…anything…comes across any feed, that hears Mover TOMCATS. Right?
“Fragile, must be Italian “🤣
UA-cam is making it very hard to find you guys.
it's all about WOMBAT!
Mover is by the book and Gonky and Wombat are bringing Navy mischief. 😂
I bet both the Russian and American pilots had some butt puckering going on.
Devil's advocate for the KC-10 discussion and honest question: Mover, Gonky and Wombat, can you describe the differences of tanking behind the center drogue of the KC-10 and the center drogue of the KC-46? Completely understanding the Boeing issues here, there seemed to be a lot of memories of the KC-135's boom-mounted drogue and other type limitations being inferred on on the KC-46 which are non-existent. No speculation, the KC-46 has more offload capacity (212K lbs) than the KC-10 (200K lbs) and KC-135 (200k lbs). The -135 and -46 are two very different airframes separated by 50+ years of production and completely different US Air Force requirements. Answering Gonky's question, there were 420 KC-135R's converted from earlier models.
Anyone see the TV series ‘Lost’? I gave up on the first episode, when some airliner got into trouble, came down in an inverted flat spin and people survived. Not only that, an engine continued to run, at idle, while upside down and some groggy pax walked behind it and was thrown several miles and killed. I wonder if any civvies believed it?
I have a question for all three of you since all of you have flown different combat jets , if you were in a one circle fight which jet would you prefer to be in and the same with a 2 circle fight , which is a rate fight i think that's what they call it
His wingman was Maverick & he was going after Viper.
56:26 If Gonky watched his XO thump a “Y-12,” that would have been incredible, considering the Y-12 was the predecessor to the SR-71 and flown by CIA pilots at Mach 3+. Now THAT would have been the best GoPro 360 footage ever filmed in aviation history! Lol
Harbin Y-12.......
@@themoverandgonkyshow lol I know I was just kidding! 😂
Re Viper and SU35 communication. They did pass cockpit to cockpit so the Russian was constantly adjusting by fingertip but in 3D rather than 2D as a driver does on a NASCAR oval.
Perhaps they need to send up display equipped aircraft so they can intercept with a smoke pod, staining the offending aircraft to make a non-lethal point.
Is it true (from Top Gun) that having ‘missile lock’ is not justification for engaging? What if the Bear intercept or a C130 intercept were equipped with a Phalanx?
😎😇
Dude the Flanker should’ve flashed his high beam head lights… to Signal he was passing on the left. Left lane is the fast lane.😂
“Buzz what is going on up there??” “Just movin a road hog”
True true. The new BMW Flanker. Thats what they do
That's a Top Gun intercept 😂
Could you guys cut out the 1:16 ”management by spreadsheet” part into a separate video please, I want to post it to my leadership team.
2:14:31 So what are you gonna do after? Get another airline and get back in the instructor seat?
Speaking of bad decisions AMARG have started scrapping another F-14D. that leaves 6? in storage
I’m a married man. The only Van any man should ever own is The A Team Van. Plus it was one of my favorite TV shows in the 80’s
Wouldn't the f16 radar know how fast and close the Russian plane was
Amelia "Buns" Nakamura Aero/satellite ace.
40:00 Mover, if you happen to see this comment your segment on the MD 500 helicopter pilot reminded me of this clip which you might find interesting, it's of a MD 500 rescuing people off a roof top in New Zealand last year after cyclone Gabrielle.

Who’s the really special guest? I’m guessing Tom Cruise
How things have changed. I believe Mover started the channel to help mentor young men & women to become military aviators. Tonight you spent 25 minutes bashing the institution that provides them that opportunity.
That’s a pretty disingenuous comment. We all love our country and the military, but leadership needs to be fixed. The institution is not infallible. We want to see it succeed.
Oh, I thought Mover was the guest host at this point?!
Ooof
The flanker didn’t do a 4g negative dive. Disappointing 😂
Lisandro Streets
I wish GONKY would quit bullying small museums 🤷🏻♂️
KC10 retirement most likely maintenance and parts issue.
Excessive commercials on this video. Wow
SU-35 🫡🇷🇺
#Gonky you are so humble and lovely person but #Mover is selfish person 😂
Wombat talks too much 😂
Very unprofessional move by the Russians. And to say that worse things happened in the 70s is just silly. Many pilots died in accidents in those days.
Did you completely miss the point that they would do that as well or knew people doing it. It’s hypocritical to call them unprofessional while people within your own military do that as well
@ As far as I know, it's mainly Russia that does this kind of close fly-by. We see the same thing in the Baltic Sea. It is dangerous and they also show incompetence and disrespect for civilian traffic.
As proof of the unsafety and unprofessionalism of Russian pilots, the American command showed the soiled underpants of an American F16 pilot.
