Great start to the show. I think the cuts were a little hard and fast, and I definitely would prefer a longer product around 8-9 minutes that didn't feel as hurried.
I agree on the harsh cuts, but I think the length was because he has done this particular dish and place so many times it's just only right he starts his channel with this place though,
the utterly concussive shatteringly crisp crust on a funky dry aged grade A5 spinalis dorsi Japanese wagyu steak still does not hold a candle to the platonic ideal that is the unctuous Smith and Wollensky's roast prime rib.
mumbai street shitter bloody hell, I was born in London to parents who were born in east Africa and brought up in Britain like my bloody self to parents of Gujarati heritage so if you are born in Britain you’re British and if your parents are british then you yourself are British as it comes so there we go.
Great mouth feel. Welcome back, and if I may say, looking particularly dapper Sir! How about incorporating a wine pairing. You had a glass poured, might as well add it to the mix.
Wonderful show. I love my Prime rib and this look to be tremendous . Ill be up in NY later in the spring and will make reservations to Smith and Wollensky's. thanks for the upload .
Nick, its good to see you and your love of all things meaty! I'm not a New Yorker, and one I do plan to do a food tour of the city. However, I'm down here in Texas and you know there is a LOT of great meat here. Will you be coming down here to show case the great offerings of Texas?
Please nick tell me where the best place in the uk I could enjoy a prime rib that's as close to smiths 🤞 new fan and love the shows and catching up on lost time.
Haha! Long time old friend. I just had an 85 day rib eye and explained to the wife all about the spinalis and why it’s the holly grail of flavor. All the while I’m thinking I haven’t seen Solares for ever. Good to have you back.
Agree with other comments. Really like your show. Probably need to add 5 to 10 more minutes of detail. Never had a New York steak as many times as I’ve been to New York. Next trip up there Smith and Wollensky’s prime rib is on the menu.
Cool vblog. My best steak was served to me in Napa, California and the worst was served to me at Denny's restaurant in San Jose, California but the search continues for the all-time very best steak.
Maillard man is finally back
About time

Small thing too but the sounds seems to trail the image ever so slightly, like barely a frame or two. But not enough to ruin. Excited to see more!!
Agreed. The video felt rushed. Would like to see a longer video with greater in depth discussion
@@1yaya11 Exactly, this is my baseline, my inspiration. Thanks for commenting,
@@MeatLife keep up the stellar work and I'll keep commenting brother 👌😄
Spinalis dorsi
Ethereal
Platonic
Sublime, Transcendent, Maillard
antonthewall they’re more casual words used in British vocabulary all the time lmao
antonthewall everyone should know what the maillard reaction is
😂🙏🏽
A happy return of the Evangelist of Dry-Aging and the Proclaimer of the Righteousness of the Spinalis Dorsi! Great to have you back!
Thank you!
the emperor of entrecote
The most profound platonic ideal of spinalis man is finally back. I need longer vids pls.
The Duke of Unctiousness has returned.
Love this word, thanks for sharing it!
Duke of cucumber eating
the utterly concussive shatteringly crisp crust on a funky dry aged grade A5 spinalis dorsi Japanese wagyu steak still does not hold a candle to the platonic ideal that is the unctuous Smith and Wollensky's roast prime rib.
Welcome back man, it’s been a bloody long time and it was worth it. #BritishPride
Cheers mate!

I have waited so LONG! This was a great video, but please make the upcoming videos longer... this felt more like a trailer or tease.
OK! Thanks for the comments
The taste of nostalgia is priceless. That's why Smith & Wollenskys will never not be at the top of Nick's list.
