Yo muddy, looking forward for you to review M600 replicas as well, since there are several manufacturers i can think of such as Sotac or Wadsn, i hope some point you could review them as well and perhaps compare them to original surefire in terms of appearance and performance!
I want to do more AEG and accessories reviews but UA-cam is making it harder and harder. I will absolutely look at the M600 repros though and see if I can fit those into the 2024 rotation. Appreciate the comment and you checking out the review! Spread the word as the bigger I can get the channel the more I can do and give UA-cam the finger for not following their own policy's in good faith LOL.
I saw a WADSN version of this for like 1.5k or so, and I would want to grab some for my Glock and possibly a custom Beretta M9A1 “Samurai Edge”, and seeing that it can fit even inside the legit Safariland holsters just fine, I would be optimistic about this as well. I’m not really too iffy about small details on attachments as much like it not matching the actual Surefire X300’s placement of symbols and such which I’m fine with, and having a momentary switch is actually a nice feat to have when practicing the light discipline in dark areas too.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this light, and it has been holding up well. I was stoked that it was spec'd enough to fit in the actual Safariland holster. The trades don't matter to me either. I just want it to look nice and work well. Also I can't believe I didn't know about the pressure sensitive momentary on for the switch LOL.
I got one of these, probably wadsn, while I was saving up for an X300 Turbo and got impatient. Honestly the fake was perfectly fine, no complaints. The switches are less stiff than surefire and the battery cap rubber is slightly worse (wouldnt trust it to keep out humidity) but it was bright as hell and stayed on the gun. Did I really need a real Turbo? Not at all, honestly. Waste of $270. I flick it on maybe once a week to make sure it's okay and tear it up in my tenicor holster
I actually want to do some follow-up later this year of this on my real Glock 37. I have the same concerns about the seal. I would be pretty upset if my light died when I really needed it 😆. But for knocking around and BBWars it is pretty awesome.

Just as a pistol light for $14-21 it's an insane value. I would buy 5 of these before i got a baldr or lapg or some shit
No doubt.
The other plate is for picatinny mounts
@antoinerichards1 thanks for the info, it didn't come with directions as most clones dont.
What batteries do these take?
Standard CR-123A batteries just like the real Surefire light.
Are the electronics potted?
I do not beleive these have potted eletronics. The real Surefire X300s are not potted either so I am pretty confident SOTAC doent do it either.
