A man posted a comment yesterday....that started out something like, "David you are a nice man, the Church needs more like you....and then he went on to speak of what a zealous Saint he was...till he lost his faith due to a list of "Facts" about a number of secondary issues...and said he can't come back until those "facts" are refuted somehow. I was quite taken with his list of things...stuff like the polygamy, of course...but also stuff like Joseph Smith applying for Copyright on the Book of Mormon, listing himself as the author, etc.
I was trying to cut and paste his comment to SAVE it...and accidentally deleted it instead somehow. I would really like to respond to this gentleman....If you are OUT THERE, please resend your comment or recreate it and send it to me at davidmalvinalexander@gmail.com
I would really like to give you an honest answer to the list of things you posted. Much love, David

Thank you David for your clarity and directness. In my work I frequently deal with people with gentle and loving hearts who are so naive it makes my eyes bleed! They haven’t encountered deception, venality, or corruption so cannot conceive that it exists…but their world view makes them a prime target for predators, or people with a hidden agenda.
I agree with you David, - Pastor Jeff has moved to Utah for three reasons - to build his brand, make himself a pile of money and make a name for himself by de converting saints.
I name him Nehor and say to everyone …no good will come of exposing yourself to his material. David you are a treasure. If I want to know about evangelical Christianity…I’ll ask YOU.

As for me, as I listened to this video and felt the nagging in my spirit as I have listened to Pastor Jeff in the past, my first thought was to recall the experience of Joseph Smith. “Which of all the sects was right” Christ Himself answered:
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”
I must base the words of the Lord, Himself, as I have studied the gospel and had the confirmation of the Holy Ghost in Priesthood authority, in the scriptures, in the temple, in my testimony of Jesus. There is no one better to receive from than a true and living Prophet representing Christ with the confidence of the gift of the Holy Ghost. I stand all amazed. Christ also proclaimed in D&C 1 the truthfulness of His church. I am so thankful in the testimony of Jesus that I gain in reading and studying all the canon of scripture a loving God has provided. The gift of the Holy Ghost as our companion is truly a great and grand blessing in knowing revelation is on going and that the fullness is still being revealed. You are right- “it is the most beautiful thing in earth!”

I think it no coincidence that the Lord gave us a David Alexander just as a Pastor Jeff invited himself into our neighborhoods. The saints are eager to feel the kindly reach across the isle from evangelicals. Pastor Jeff told us the kind of evangelicals that slam our faith & pass out anti LDS pamphlets at conference are not representative of most good evangelicals. I was so surprised and happy to hear it but David is here to warn that he never in 40+ years witnessed a kindly approach in evangelical faith toward the LDS. I agree that Pastor Jeff seeks to build off ramps for our fellow members. While he’s a good man that thinks he’s doing God’s work, LDS are foolish to watch videos of a pastor critiquing our prophets & our scriptures. Thank you David.

I agree very much with your analysis about how eager we are to feel like evangelicals are reaching across to us. There is a report, forgotten which Apostles this was, but in a disagreement between the two precious men, the Elder apostle said to the younger one, "When I was your age, I thought the way you do now". This was an indication of how life and experiences can change our understanding. I'm 75 years old! I definitely see your concerns and share them! Some of us are experiencing the pain of family members who took the time to listen to the accusatory fog and walked right into it and are rejecting all they've ever been taught and they are rejecting us as parents. It's like saying it's ok to walk next to the cliff to understand how a cliff looks and then falling over the cliff when you get too close. Heed them not! Stay far away from the edge of the cliff! Spend your time where you can strengthen your testimony and feast on the good fruit. I so appreciate Davids warning voice. How could anyone who reads the Bible ever say that baptism is not needed . I can see how some love evangelicals teachings that you have to do nothing but have faith. Just faith. Do nothing . No where does the Bible teach that . Only when taken out of context . So that is being a con artist . He can’t name one scripture where it says you only need faith and nothing else. Only if he chooses to not read all of it. How can Jeff be a Protestant ? If he thinks there was no falling away . They protested things they thought were wrong . How funny .

“Vice is a monster of so frightful mien

We first endure, then pity, then embrace.”
LeGrand Richards (an apostle from my youth) shared this warning in a General Conference talk.

Excellent video! Pastor Jeff is merely a modern day Nehor (one of the antichrists of the Book of Mormon). Read the following verses from chapter 1 of Alma. You can’t tell me it doesn’t line up!
And he had gone about among the people, preaching to them that which he termed to be the word of God, bearing down against the church; declaring unto the people that every priest and teacher ought to become popular; and they ought not to labor with their hands, but that they ought to be supported by the people.
4 And he also testified unto the people that all mankind should be saved at the last day, and that they need not fear nor tremble, but that they might lift up their heads and rejoice; for the Lord had created all men, and had also redeemed all men; and, in the end, all men should have eternal life.
5 And it came to pass that he did teach these things so much that many did believe on his words, even so many that they began to support him and give him money.
6 And he began to be lifted up in the pride of his heart, and to wear very costly apparel, yea, and even began to establish a church after the manner of his preaching.
7 And it came to pass as he was going, to preach to those who believed on his word, he met a man who belonged to the church of God, yea, even one of their teachers; and he began to contend with him sharply, that he might lead away the people of the church; but the man withstood him, admonishing him with the words of God.

But in Jeff’s most recent video of his move to Utah, I felt a deep sense of insincerity and felt this video was contrived content. Afterwards I really questioned myself. I asked myself why I was feeling untrusting and opposition to his content. I do love that members are showing love to him. That is in our very nature and I love how the people of our church are so loving and accepting. It’s a gift of the spirit and I am so grateful for this community I get to be a part of. Love to you David again!!!❤ I had a couple of thoughts as I listened to your latest videos about Pastor Jeff. One of them is that anyone who is critiquing our Prophet and Apostles (however kindly) is looking to plant seeds of doubt. When this critique is followed by "suggestions" of a "better way" (however kindly) it serves no purpose other than to "evangelize". I do not seek to demonize Pastor Jeff. That would be giving him too much credit. I do however believe that in his heart of hearts he thinks he has found a niche in the group of "saints" who are or may become (through his efforts) disenchanted with the church. I feel he is seeking out those who are willing to fall away and bring them into his "fold." He may see them as a means of income. Hence his move to Utah. He has told us what his goals are. I think it best that we take him at his word and believe him.

I have seen various sides to Pastor Jeff. He has mocked and criticizes, sometimes even subtly, our scriptures, our leaders, and our beliefs. He "seems" genuine. The sad things is that I used to watch so many of his videos. He has tried to paint a picture of how we worship and what we believe, but he has either blatantly lied at times or he has judged and assumed on many things on many occasions. I have seen some of Pastor Jeff's tactics used before, especially while growing up going to many different Churches.

I have listened to every one of your podcasts and appreciate and learn from them. I have also listened to every one of Pastor Jeff's. I find him to be as kind as one could hope for from a pastor who sincerely believes that his position is correct. He has admitted many times that he is not approaching this from a desire to determine whether it is true, but simply to understand it better. I don't even see his disagreements as criticisms, but more as statements of difference of belief. I am certainly not offended nor convinced by them. If anything, in combination with all the other things I read and study, listening to him has deepened my testimony of the restored gospel. The mainline Christian belief that he promotes seems like skim milk to the cream of the restored gospel. The restored gospel is so much richer and explanatory of God and his purposes that I will never be turned from it. But I have learned a lot from Pastor Jeff about why evangelicals have such problems with the church and it gives me a better position from which to challenge their criticism. I think that Christ and the prophet would want us to embrace every attempt to engage with love with those outside of our faith. I appreciate it when members of other faiths do so with us.

David, you are spot on as usual! Here is the problem as I see it ( from one old gray hair to another!!). Kids today have been raised with the word "tolerance" drilled firmly into their deepest subconscious from early in life. That come from predisposes them to believe that all view points and thought processes are equal and worthy of a hearing, thus in their minds there is simply nothing to lose by having a conversation. In fact there is everything to lose and the Book of Mormon writers knew it! Simply read Alma 30, then focus on v 19, 20,and 21. In fact Jeff is anti Christ, he is actually the individual spoken of in Galatians 1:6-9!! He has another Gospel and he wants you in it, that really the bottom line. Flaxen cords are his weapon of choice, strong chords follow., 2nd Nephi 26:22. Listen to your elders, do not get sucked in!! Why did the people in Jershon NOT listen to Korihir when everone else was willing to? Why is this particular mention engraved on to brass plates at great cost of time and energy, included by someone who saw our day? Think about it...

      @harryabelpotter9630 11 місяців тому +1

Question: Does the Church forbid the reading of "anti-Mormon" criticisms, or discourage its members from considering such matters?
There is no prohibition on reading material critical of the Church
The Church encourages its members not to purchase anti-Mormon propaganda, for this only contributes money to their cause.
[so we shouldn't be supporting Pastor McCullough with clicks or contributions. ]
However, there is no prohibition on reading material critical of the Church. In the Ensign, the Church's official magazine, the question was asked, "Some people say it is best to leave alone materials that claim to 'expose' the Church and its teachings. What counsel has been given on this? How do we respond when a friend comes to us with questions found in such materials?" The reply given included these recommendations:
[Cautions about those who sell material aiming to destroy the Church] must not be interpreted to mean that the Church is against honest scholarship or has anything to fear or hide. Nor does the Church ban literature, but Latter-day Saints should be wise in choosing what to read.
This cautionary counsel should not be misconstrued to justify laziness on our part in seeking answers, or giving glib, superficial replies when someone sincerely wants to know the truth after being exposed to anti-LDS material. Church critics and enemies should not be permitted to make what Elder Neal A. Maxwell of the Quorum of the Twelve has sometimes called "uncontested slam dunks."
Latter-day Saints should be sufficiently grounded in their testimonies and knowledge of Church doctrine and history that they can answer questions in a non-contentious and informative way. Elder Marvin J. Ashton of the Quorum of the Twelve has instructed Church members not to retaliate against attacks. "We encourage all our members to refuse to become anti-anti-Mormon," he said (Ensign, Nov. 1992, p. 63). Paul taught that coming to Christ requires "speaking the truth in love" (Eph. 4:15). The First Presidency has encouraged Church members to convey their response to questions and criticism "in the form of a positive explanation of the doctrines and practices of the Church."[1]
Members should invite those with questions about Church doctrine and practices to read latter-day scriptures and to study the restored gospel, thus tasting the gospel fruit for themselves. Only then will they know "whether it be of God" (John 7:17).
When members lack answers, they should learn what Church leaders and reputable scholars have said and written. There is probably no charge against the Church that has not been adequately refuted by someone. When members can’t find answers on their own, they can turn to home and visiting teachers, quorum leaders, bishops, and stake presidents...Those willing to take time to research anti-LDS claims can find answers.[2] end quote...
personally I find that the biggest problem with the youth is that the old farts in the Church lived and live a life of lazy learning and have never taken the time to stand up to the anti-Mormons ~ and worse ~ most can't, because they haven't done their homework. ... so , the problem is that when the youth need help the old farts are not able to help them. ... all though there are some of us old ones who have been fighting this battle our whole lives ... but the laborers are few. ... pray ye therefore for more brothers like Bro Alexander. ... peace.

The timing of having David at a time when an evangelist pastor is low-key trying to school us on "the correct Jesus" is divine design.
At first I was excited to see and listen to a pastor take curiosity in our doctrine. He sounded so sincere and *fair* (emphasis on "fair")
I first noticed he's scolding when he did come follow me with those two ladies from her Church. I noticed that this was a mission to save Later-Day Saints, something like, "Oh those Mormons are so lost, we need to teach them truth with kindness and love." That's not what they actually said, but if you watch that video you will feel that self righteous spirit.
I do not claim that our Church is perfect and that it is beyond criticism, certainly we have many faults and we still have a lot to improve, but it seems like all that Pastor Jeff sees is that we are wrong and we need him to correct us using the Bible.
I don't like the spirit of contention that is brewing within the Saints who wholeheartedly support Pastor Jeff and the Saints who have a problem with his curious sincere camouflage. I understand that the presenter from Cwic show wants to maintain respect and tolerance, but I would listen to our leaders everyday, and any day over a Pastor who profits off curiosity and keeping his audience on a cliffhanger.

You are correct and it has been somewhat to my amazement, your understanding of priesthood authority by someone who correctly read and understood the teachings of the Bible. Which many or seemly most pastors of religion take it (priesthood authority) upon themselves, not called of God as was Aaron. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints BOLDLY declares their authority the same way the original church did. My concern with some of these who are voicing concern with the analysis about pastor Jeff and the driving into the Later Day Saints "true" doctrine is what I heard one of them say paraphrasing if someone chooses to leave the Church and it is no concern of mine that is their choice.
I myself am exreamely saddened and worried for those who choose to accept the watered down gospel of mainstream Christianity. I also have a deep desire to help resolve the concerns or address that root cause of them making that choice. I believe that is the attitude our father in heaven wishes us to have. Not the attitude of well it is no concern to me.
As taught in 1 Corinthians we are one body as members of the Church and all are needed. Loosing one part will cause the body not to function as it should.
We should do all we can to strengthen all of our brothers and sisters in the church and out of the Church. And encourage them to put off the world and become like Jesus Christ that we all may be like him at the last day.

We don't need decades of experience in other churches to understand what Jeff's motivations are. All that is needed is a little understanding of the scriptures and the influence of the Spirit. The gift of discernment is a very valuable and important spiritual gift in these situations. I don't think Jeff has convinced a single faithful LDS member that he has any authority to declare the truth. I watch his videos to get an outside perspective on the Church. The topics he discusses motivate me to study the scriptures and gain a deeper knowledge of the truth as revealed by the Spirit. I comment on his videos, as do others, to correct misunderstandings and to open up the truth in the scriptures to anyone who may read.
My hope for Jeff is that regardless of his motivations, through this experience, God can perform miracles and eventually lead him to the truth. It worked for Saul. It worked for Zeezrom, Alma, and many others.
"No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing."
I'm not aware of any slogan that says: "What would Paul do?". The slogan is: "What would Jesus do?".

My perspective: Pastor Jeff's videos appear to be a window for protestants to better understand LDS Christians, when in reality it's just a protestant pastors missionary efforts to convert LDS Christians/former LDS Christians.
In one of his first videos, he mentioned that a friend in Utah told him there was something interesting about the culture in Utah. I think Pastor saw an opportunity with the members who were experiencing faith crisis to "save them" and bring them to protestant Christianity.
This became clear as day with his last video talking about his family moving to Utah to run a church.
I also feel like he isn't really listening anymore. It became apparent in his critique of Brad Wilcox's talk "His Grace is Sufficient".
Something felt very weird about the video because he was hiking and kept acting like "I'm just hiking and telling you my honest thoughts" when in fact it's him setting up his camera, capturing footage of himself hiking and then moving on to the next scenic spot. It really felt like a show because he just put in videos of himself pondering.
He's still a great guy and wish him the best. Honestly I'd rather there be more Christians than Atheist's so if he can help former members at least gain a testimony of Jesus Christ then I think we are better off.

If you're called a pastor you shoud be worried about your herd. In the LDS church we're established as GOD's church. Best organized Church as will be in the milenial time. God goes ahead of time. Eventhough pastor Jeff looks and sound charismatic he doesn't know what we know. Also as David said it: it's all about the gift of the Holy Ghost and the power of the Holy Priesthood. Again, God's church should be working in order and accion as we are commanded. Please don't waste your time empowering partial true or personal entertainment, let's live the Gospel accordingly looking forward for the second comming of our Great Redeemer and Savior Jesuschrist. As my 42 years been LDS member I can see that whatever this Church touches and blesses with the Holy Priesthood, it becomes enriched and blessed. Even some others religios liders make a living out of it.!

    👍🏻 Good video David.
I have to say, though, I fear and see a pretty nasty result of this pitting Latter-Day Saints up against each other kind of like "and their hearts were stirred up one against another, brother against brother". I get that everyone wants to support each other, give each other the benefit of the doubt and hope, and its a crazy rollercoaster ride, and I guess thats the benefit of having a prophet, that when thing errupt God speaks with him to steer everyone back. Some are offended their aide isnt taken and they become bitter and leave, some are better sports to admit they were wrong and acknowledge the prophet is right and God talks with him about this and they need to align themselves with the beacon, with the lighthouse on the shore, but its painfully obvious this is going to become a nasty topic. The Church is definitely different today than in Joseph Smiths time where they were bold and today we're more diplomatic in our speech, but theres an erruption bubbling up amonst the Saints right now thats pitting brother against brother. The Church is under attack, we need unity more than division. The fact of the matter is, both sides are right. I think Latter-Day Saints want to give Jeff McCollough the benefit of the doubt that for once we can get along with those that dont agree with us, that someone wants to legitimately study us like a frozen cavemen and learn what Latter-Day Saints are about. Some think, as was said, that Pastor Jeff will read 3 Nephi 11 and have this frand spiritual moment where God will tell him and he'll be changed, but I think you'd be wrong. God prepares those a little at a time. People have to be in place and in position, and maybe Jeff moving to Utah, as his move almost fell through, the house deal unraveled. Was that making an attempt to preserve his vineyard? Who knows. Was it an adviserial attempt to stop him knowing hes now in the middle of the Lords vineyard and thus more likely to be prepared at a faster rate? Would it be ignorant of me to write this and him out looking for the critiques of his work to produce more appealing content? Yes it would be. I actually used to get likes on comments posted on his channel, that have since stopped, but it could very well be God might be preparing him, but he knows we think that because he reads our comments. So, we want to give him the benefit of the doubt hes at least trying to treat us differently and be civil, because its flattering.
But, David is right too. Pastor Jeff says himself he has NO INTENT TO CONVERT. Many have asked him to pray to know if the Book of Mormon is true and to have understanding. Pastor Jeff simply says "I pray for truth". Hes not motivated to convert, Greg Madsen is very clear on his position that Latter-Day Saints have it wrong. Theres a curiosity to know about us, sure, it appeals to us but also helps him teach his congregation how we think and operate too. And, like David said, Latter-day Saints are an untapped resource. Youll never catch them sitting on a pue in a church emptying their pocket into a collection plate, Latter-day Saints are some of the stingiest people on the planet because they have their bills, then their tithing for their many kids, then college funds for those many kids, Latter-day Saints have to be tighter with their spending, but this is a non-threatening collection plate, Davids right. Preach to the Mormons, they dont pay into a collection plate, heck, theyre getting to where they dont pay tithing in their own church and are now demanding the money they did pay into tithing back (Greg Madsen on Cwic Media did a video about that). This is going to turn into conflict between brother and brother when we dont have time for this. Davids right, listen to the man, but test his fruits, keep the guard up but see if he holds to his word. The other thing is, the best way to get to know someone is take it all away and see they react. If nobody were pay into Patreon anymore and the money isnt there to sustain it, do they remain the same because the principle is the same, or its no longer profitable so they either just quit or become enraged. I didnt know he was getting that much money, maybe I ought to have a UA-cam channel. I figured LDS were as stingy as always but watching.
People, its not worth the fight amonst yourselves. Hes not going to convert to the Church, hes adimant about that. He wants a better dialogue, more civility, but hes still very much for his faith and it would make him extremely happy to see someone jump ship. He was very sympathetic toward the guy that used to work for Vice amd left the Church, he took that side, not why he couldnt understand whyd hed leave the church when his learnings of the church and people were so inviting. He even did a dialogue with the former LDS Missionary that left the Church, theyre buddies now, its a win for Jeff McCollough. Be nice to others of other faiths. Remain respectful, because the Church in its day were treated horribly and they didnt like it, just Joseph Smith taught "We claim the right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, we also allow others the same privilege" so, remain respectful, but his channel is to be observed and watched, not taken. Im surprised Latter-day Saints are paying a Pastor they wouldnt do otherwise, HE JUST BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE while members of the church struggle in and outside of Utah and it was Latter-Day Saint money to help pay for that and the move, its a new collection plate.
We have David Alexander that just spent 47 years in that side of the world. Theres knowledge and wisdom and experience there we dont know and see. In my field of work, I was told to stop being so trusting because it was clouding my judgement, that people exist to take advantage of you, while this man, who Greg Madsen actually praised, how I heard of him, has been converted, an honest man who was changed through being prepared. So, you can have both, but keep that spirit in mind and be mindful of things that feel off, the red flags. And yes, you wouldnt go to a protestant church and drop money into the collection plate, some might to be nice, but I didnt know, it hadnt occured to me that was happening, because Latter-day Saints are LDS, the gospel shouldnt be sold for money, its not ours to sell. If some want to fly him out to see conference or something, sure, but if his goal is what it is, thats his journey, not funded like Billy Graham who has two jets while his mega church sits in poverty with no help from him, my father whose a convert, still holds to this day the Catholic Church is built by the adversary, that its his church, and Protestants are those lying in wait to deceive, because he lived without the gospel in his life and had a confirmation of his testimony and he wont deny it. He seems to agree with former endowment presentation and tells me about it when we go, he feels it vital for his children to know how its changed because theres still diamonds in that all. We've just become more diplomatic because feelings are easier hurt these days so, now Im getting off track and lost, and if its any longer UA-cam will tell me "Not a vaid arguement" and reject my response, but I fear and can see this subject is going to cause conflict and fight brother against brother, which shouldnt be happening at this point when so many are leaving Christianity as a whole, its not where we want to be. So, I guess we'll see if my "argument is not relevant" or "not a valid argument" I get that a lot with such long reponses but, its a deep subject with a lot to say that sub points too so, we'll see......

I guess I just care about us all….I pray for everyone to find the truth, including Pastor Jeff. I hope he will respect our beliefs as well as we respect basic Christianity….no criticisms on either side. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is basic Christianity plus just adds more that Christ has taught us, and adminished us to do.

    • @safrew1

The Church is a lot more than just basic Christianity plus just adds more of what Christ taught. The key s of Athority have been restored! Remember the Christians history- with out the priesthood keys? 😢 I care about us all too. I pray for the world too. Christ died for the world but he taught " as one having Athority " because he did. It matters. In fact it makes all the difference! If we really love them we will be the teacher. Because we are the only one's with the Athority- with out these truths there is no Salvation or Exaltation. "... how great the need to make these things know unto the children of man.." Christ did not spend time being taught of the Saducees and Pharisees not even to build a bridge. He taught the humble. Those willing to exercise faith in what He had to say. His pattern is our guide.

@@safrew1 I have been taught that there is salvation for the believers in Christ. Just not exaltation. The Celestial Kingdom is for those who want to progress further. The three degrees of glory save almost everyone from eternal torment. God would not be just if that was not so. We choose where we want to be in the next life. And it is not over until we make our final choices. I know someone who died in a different religion, and one of our bishops who is very close to the veil said that he and one other are very happy. His had overcome a smoking habit finally, cancer had humbled him, and his temple work got done a year after he died. I know that he may have had a struggle for a time there, but it is much better on the other side, and he is now doing well, and sealed in marriage. God gave him more chances, he had lived a very good and responsible life, had done a lot for others, had integrity, and was just not ready to espouse the church until he could truly live all of the teachings. Even one who has committed serious sins has chances to repent. That is why we have a Savior. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. As for him, a doctor many years ago had misled him about pipe smoking, when they did not know as much about it….I won’t text what he said, it was a misunderstanding of the truth, but the doctor caused him to fear the withdrawal. But when he quit, and got treatment, he said it was nothing compared to the cancer. He wanted to tell EVERYONE about that!! Of course, much happiness and deep joy comes from accepting all that Christ has to offer us now. Not without trials!! But we can be truly happy in this life if we choose to do that….much happier than if we do not listen to the prophet. He knows the way. And we need to be with those who lift and encourage us to that end. All I can say is Amen 🙏. God loves his children, he wants to help all of us to do the best we can, as we have our choices. Our freedom is the key. He and Christ gave us that, and he gave us guidance!! Obedience is freeing!! I think that the best is to have our will swallowed up in the will of the Father. Or try to do the will of the Father, for he is our Father in heaven.

Phillip did have the authority to baptize just not to confer the Holy Ghost. That's why the people of Samaria didn't have to be baptized again. Peter and John came to confirm them.
This is based on the separation of priesthood authority, not the lack of it.
With that said, a better example would be Apollos who was teaching but only knew the baptism of John till shown the more perfect way but left Paul with a handful of people who had to be baptized again.

You are absolutely right David, why waste our time listening to a deceiver, we have so much to study and learn from the true Gospel. I respectfully want to say something to the young man who wrote this letter. The reality is that everybody’s testimony is fragile no matter who you are. We learn in the Temple that our body and spirit needs constant nourishment, if we don’t nourish our spirit with the truth constantly like we nourish our body in a daily basis we will lose our child like faith and testimony. That’s why the scriptures admonish us to watch and pray always that we won’t be deceived. Thanks for being the watchman on the tower warning us of the real dangers that are out there.
