The minute I heard it, it became a classic for me. As if I had always known and loved that song even if it was the first time I heard it. The sign of genius composing.
The sweetness and pain of his life comes out in his music. That's the mark of a true artist. To be able to translate that into something others can feel and understand is beautiful.
The female vocals on this set just compliment it so so beautifuly. Hope to see her mic this loud in the Sydney shows next year ❤️ Just a beautiful mix of vocals!!
13/10. OP has been on tour hardcore for 9 months or so, singing these songs night after night- yet any performance I see live , they keep the momentum going and every time it sounds just as good (if not better) as the first time everytime. Looking forward to the next album and tour!
Yes!! I really appreciate that he is constantly finessing his music- it makes for a fresh feeling performance every time. Almost feels like a great cover of one of your favorite songs.
Heard him in Barcelona some weeks after this session. Fantastic artist with a very interesting sound. I'm actually into rock'n'roll and som metal, but Orville Peck really caught my ear with his music :)
Man I know Orville and Bria are awesome but man he is so lucky to have Duncan Always on point The consumate professional! He is an amazing musician! Can't wait to see him live
Just found this genius. Elvis and Robert Smith had a love child. Kinda like the Hank 3 of the Presley dynasty. So rank and amazing. This stuff is life changing.
For two hours it was on my mind who the hell he sounds like... Finally figured it out. He sounds exactly like the guy who sang/sings in The The. Their voices are identical.
It music and he's a special talent I think Man strong voice Really love true country. Pining to see the. Steel and the mandolins and and the big organ and fiddle and banjo just all the stuff they can do. My. Gawd it's gonna be good. Just cannot wait
it don't mean a thang if it ain't got that twang some don't realise you don't have to be a 'country' fan to love orville. there are echoes of the greats' indeed, but my country bands are the long ryders, slobberbone and the desolate rock of thin white rope and some dream syndicate, and i hear bits of that, too
After seeing OP and The Band (I know, he's Orville Peck, and The Group is Orville Peck (so Cooperian!)) in scenic Whitefish Montana, well, it's a before/after kinda thing. Looking forward to enjoying the moments and future of your art! If you get the chance, GO!

I am late to the game having recently been introduced to Orville Peck's music. It sounds Wonderful! Orville Peck is next level!
I really like hearing the woman's voice on this session. Her mic is usually turned down so low, you can't hear her.
So true ! Just saw them live yesterday and just like in the last KEXP session, her mic wasn't set loud enough.
Yeah, her backing vocals were really nice on this performance.
Mary Broughton she isn’t in any of his original music I think she wasn’t there to add TOO much. Just soft vocals imo
Mary Broughton she has her own band called frigs! Check em out
Mary Broughton RT
When Orville said "yee haw" i felt that
Shut the fuck up
Same. I calmly responded "ats right" 🚬
Not sure if I'm suddenly into country/western or just Orville Peck. Either way, I love this!
IM IN LOVE WITH A MASKED MAN
THIS IS THE TRUTH
We all are my friend
Yo tambien
Aren't we all?
The mask is part of the allure...
This guy has one of the most dynamic voices to hit the lows and highs that he does is amazing.
There’s a great Orbison-esque quality to his voice. That smooth natural vibrato.
i've always heard the same thing. So good!
Turn to Hate might be one of my favorite songs of all time. Just fantastic.
The minute I heard it, it became a classic for me. As if I had always known and loved that song even if it was the first time I heard it. The sign of genius composing.

@@Xceloverdose I totally agree!
