I loved the scenery of your route. I also appreciated that you didn't over talk the video. You let the scenery speak for itself and provided titles for location orientation. As someone who made the transition from motorcycle touring to bicycle touring in retirement I will tell you I enjoy the latter as much if not more. Seeing the world at 10 mph gives more opportunity to notice things and appreciate them plus the endorphins from the bicycle are a great side affect. Do more.
Thank you for the kind words. Glad you liked it. I agree, the slower pace of bicycling provides a better feeling of being immersed in nature. Certainly safer too on a route like this. I’m planning to do the C&O and GAP ride in September. 👍
I've done it in piece's, top to bottom is on my list just need a drop off at the top. Watch out for center planks on wooden bridges, they blend in on some and covered with leaves are killers! And helmet saved me for sure! My crash was at the mill bridge!
Looks like a really scenic ride. I'll have to check it out some time. Hopefully there are some stealth camping opportunities along the way. Thanks for sharing!
Definitely in Lebanon the start/finish point but in between unlikely, although I’m sure there are AirB&B’s available. You could easily primitive/stealth camp along the trail too. Go for it, it’s a great trail.
Ive done this route a couple times passing through to VT. Not much in the way of accommodations. One time I hopped off the trail in Andover and chose to ride over route 4a in search of a campground when I found it , it was immediately clear that it was abandoned . Since it was raining and getting dark I stealth camped there anyway. That seems to be the best way in a lot of cases.
Nobody in The Netherlands wears a helmet on commuting or relaxed type rides and they have no issues. Although, cycling is the most popular form of transport and their handling skills are outstanding. That said, I wear my helmet 99% if the time. After spending time in The Netherlands I’m less inclined to bug people about their decision to wear one.
That’s a sick bike! Love it.

Cool! Yeah wet wood and leaves on wood are super slick.
New Hampshire is beautiful.
It certainly is!

Yeah it’s pretty remote so finding a nice stealth spot should be easy. Thanks and enjoy!
Are there hotels in these towns?

Helmet, bro. That way, your next fall isn’t your last.
You’re correct, that melon could hit all kinds of things on a lazy ride session

Yes. It’s your head. Contains your brain. I have had two falls on which my helmet saved me.
@@cmdmd you made a good decision!
Helmets are overrated. 🙃🌈
i agree. hopefully on a rail to trail its not enforced. now on singletrack with my mantra...
