Tom, this was my first major bikepacking trip and I had been wanting to ride this trail for many years. It was very rewarding. They are extending it towards Littleton, so I'll have to go back and ride it again.
Great job with the videography...the work you put in to setting up the camera away and then riding through the scene really adds to the overall video! Thanx for sharing. I've been looking for a route for a first bikepacking trip and this may be just the ticket.
@ibrewalot thanks for the feedback. I try to mix it up and keep the scene changing. Thanks for watching. I have another bikepacking video coming out next week.
@@OutdoorsWithJohnUSA John, we are doing this route this weekend, staying at the KOA. Quick question...where did you park your car to leave overnight in Woodsville? Again, thanx for the video. Looking forward to recreating your weekend; looks like good weather!
@@OutdoorsWithJohnUSA Went without a hitch...beautiful weather, gorgeous scenery and the KOA campsite next to the river was perfect. Given it was our first trip, we learned many things to "not" do next time. :-) Thanx again for getting us started.
@@ibrewalot I’m so happy you had a positive experience. This was one of my favorite trips. I am hoping to do some other longer rail trail for bikepacking.
That’s a cool railway trail.. thanks for sharing.

I did not know this existed. I look for river access but there is rarely a place to park.
This trail will someday link up with others creating a trail from the Maine all the way across Vermont.
