    I used to believe in radical right-wing activism, I don't anymore. People have made their choice. Kali Yuga is here to stay. I only believe in self improvement. I meditate. Lifting heavy weights at the gym. Takes long walks. Accepts challenges in martial arts. Reading everything I can come across about ancient heroes and feats, Eastern religion and mysticism. Trying to make as much money as I can without breaking my back. Avoids all NPCs. I walk through life as a lone wolf- Society and the modern world is sick and perverted. But life is a gift. I live as efficiently as I can. But I've jumped off the train. Society will only get worse. It's just the beginning. My struggle is internal. I love it.

      i used to be an optimist. i looked for good things. but the only thing i can ASSURE is good? the ONLY thing i can control? is myself. I am a lone wolf. I trust nobody and deal with nobody. I'm off the train of society. i actively chose to reject modern society a long time ago. It purely disgusts me now.

    Love this video ❤ great job. This is spot on. I’ve found stoicism which I’ve been practicing daily and I keep to myself. Rebuilding myself and healing after dealing with this lost world and being burned. Watching it self destruct. I had to figure it out on my own and find what truly mattered to me. I let go of people, deleted social media and stop trying to please people by conforming to things I don’t agree with that are societal norms. Everyone seems lost and I wasn’t joining. So I left it all behind and focused on my character and sticking to my morals and values whether I’m alone in it forever or not. All we can control is our own decisions and thoughts. All we can do is be virtuous if we want to truly be good people. That’s my life purpose…to try everyday to live the highest good and repeat. I’m proud of who I am becoming. I hope more people wake up.

    • @insxmniac7052
      @insxmniac7052 2 місяці тому

      Careful, stoicism is just a quarantine of what the romans considered decay. In this case, emotions. It's true that we should not let emotions/instincts control our lives, but we have to face our emotions and irrationalities, understand them and live them out, express them. It is part of our being and by denying it, we are denying part of ourselves. The stoics in that sense still seemed to pursue the idea that we humans are capable of or should be purely rational. Nietzsche says something along these lines too but it's interesting because despite that difference there does seem to be some overlap between nietzsche's ideas and stoicism.

I want to change this if its just one show and doesnt have to be huge i cant see the one place it should be different be the same. This is a serious problem for me i see the world of music as my people and i know that people are hurting i hear the convos i can see it the faces things are not good at all and it tears me apart to even think about it and not do a thing to try and change. I dont even care im happy anymore i just wanna make a difference i know my problems are my own but i can leave a positive mark on the world and i wont even need to take credit ill be like saint nick or something i dunno.

    I would like to expand the definition of Nihilism meaning that it basically is worshipping: data/atoms/only living once mentality/statistics; removing responsibility for owning ones own existence, because we all are part of a sofisticated algorithm.
    Itś saying stuff like: testostoron defines us as men, and finding excuses in the building blocks of life controlling us. And doing small life hacks.
    I miss men admitting in in big groups that they are actual spiritual beings, and hearing stuff from them that isn´t game related in order to advance to another level. To hear modern man explain everything in terms of science is to me really sad, it gives a Elon Musk type of viewpoint which is very destructive, and being only about winning to get power/popularity.
    Sure power is very important, but it is more a state of being than an actual goal by itself. It is a condition one is in to attain a higher state of happiness.

    "Feelings of life" is a bit woo woo for me. It's just a vague phrase and an empty concept that doesn't actually mean anything. Otherwise the rest was good. I feel like I also have lived both the defeated nihilism and times of great growth and thriving... and hope. There is a very stark difference between the two phases

    • @insxmniac7052
      @insxmniac7052 2 місяці тому

      When the will to power is strong, nihilism is weak. A bit more ahead he said that when nihilism is absent in the moments of life, those moments usually have alot of emotion. Thus the feelings of life, the feelings that make us feel like we are living (not limited to just sadness, anger or fear but glory, awe, completeness) are ultimately tied to the will to power. This is why nietzsche also argues for us to fully interact and experience our bad emotions, they are just as part of life as the good ones, and if we, once fully processed, utilize those "bad" feelings as motivators for seeking the "good" ones, we arrive at the will to power.

    That was great. If you listen to Caroline Myss, a will to power is all about a belief in a higher power and that is what Nietzsche clearly did not see. If he had seen that, he would have pronounced that there is a person who is no longer a Master or a Slave.... But a Believer... God is not dead...

    • @insxmniac7052
      @insxmniac7052 2 місяці тому

      The will to power is an idea from Nietzsche. You can argue for another main driving force for humans that is based on belief of a higher power and call it something else. It's like calling a bike a car because both have engines.
      You seem to have a very limited idea on Nietzsche's works, if you even knew just a little you would find that what nietzsche talks about the most is religion as a framework for morality and how frameworks of morals limit us individualy. You are not God, or the church, or mass. You are one single being, and the ultimate, objective truth lies within you and no where else. If you don't believe this, then you don't even believe that the Christian God gave us freedom of choice (I am assuming you are Christian).

    • @94115david
      @94115david 2 місяці тому

      @@insxmniac7052 As far as I can tell, Nietzsche was not a "believer". Basically you are either a master or a slave which is the same spiritual plane. If you are a believer, someone who truly believes in a higher power, whether it be a bike or a car, something greater than yourself, you will see there is much more to life than nihilism. So, in your video you demonstrate how Nietzche admired the Greeks. And perhaps they believed in a higher power. And Nietzche saw the value in that. But he himself did not believe in a higher power. And all that morality stuff in the bible, all that religion and stuff is just more master / slave stuff. Tell me i'm wrong.

    While nietzche’s philosophy - through concepts like the ‘will to power’ and highlighting societal decline into decadence - does harbor the potential to achieve extraordinary feats in the true development of mankind, it’s also dangerous to ignore the potential negative repercussions of such a mindset. One needn’t cast their minds too far back, take WW2 for example, the fascist movement in Germany was inherently characterized by nietzchean concepts like the realization of the ‘ubermensch’ through a concerted focus on the will to power. Maybe the question should be: is it better to live life according to nietzchean doctrines whereby the potential for substantial reward is just as great as the potential for destructive perils, or conversely, is it better to live life according to modern values wherein stagnation is undeniable but the potential for perilous outcomes are greatly diminished (at least in the short term). I should say I am still studying nietzche so I may read this back eventually and think WTF was I saying. Great video and channel btw🤘🏾

    • @insxmniac7052
      @insxmniac7052 2 місяці тому

      This situation is complex. Nietzsche's sister was part of the national socialist party and even allegedly changed some of nietzsche's notes to fit their ideas. Most of nietzsche's ideas were taken out of context by them and thus the whole german issue is not indicative of the consequences of putting into practice nietzsche's ideas. The only issue with nietzsche is that his works are susceptible to interpretation, altough funny enough that is what he would of probably wanted. Nietzsche often critiqued moral frameworks such as religions and ideologies and how they are rampant for dogma and the stiffling of human individual freedom and creativity. The german case was one of slave morality, just how christianity advocated to be meek in face of life's suffering, for we are powerless and only God can save us; Nazism sought to overthrow and dominate due to a perceived weakness. If you know anything about the decades before the rise of nazi germany, it is clear as day that nazism was a reaction from the germans to the humiliation and defeat europe placed on them. Both these frameworks where rooted in weakness, insecurity, making them slave moralities. In nietzsche's view, master morality is rooted in confident, life-affirming strength that seeks to grow and propagate wherever it can. He deems it good because our instincts are ultimately in place to assure growth and self-propagation. The germans did not strive for greatness because they wanted to grow, but because they were insecure and thought they were threatened by everyone around them, especially a certain people...

    • @Userr419.
      @Userr419. 2 місяці тому

      @@insxmniac7052 firstly, thank you for taking the time to give such a well thought out reply, you don’t often see such on UA-cam’s comment sections. I found your viewpoint quite compelling however also problematic in various respects which I will elucidate upon.
      In regards to the point you made asserting that the German fascist movement was predicated on insecurity rather than an intrinsic will to power thus absolving Nietzsche’s philosophy of its potentially destructive repercussions I think is quite problematic in many ways, chiefly, it’s subjectivity and unfalsifiabilty. A cogent argument could very easily be made contending that the historical backdrop of insecurity and rampant slave morality that fueled such a concerted effort by the nazis to effect a change is the ultimate will to power so to speak. We know that nietzche doesn’t only value suffering - in this case maybe that takes the form of ‘insecurities’ - but goes as far as seeing it as essential to growth, so where such a movement was derived from, whatever emotions it invoked, quite frankly is irrelevant so long as it acted as a catalyst to take control. Then another issue with the insecurity argument is quite frankly there’s no way of proving those motivations were in fact insecurities, they could very well have just been strong motivators. Example, An individual wanting to go to the gym to improve their physique doesn’t necessarily mean they are insecure, even then how would one even define insecurity? At what point does unsatisfaction become insecurity? Impossible to tangibly behold. I’m no psychologist but the very nature of insecurities is that they stifle the beholden individual in its wake to metaphorical paralysis, the german fascist moment inherently then couldn’t be an insecurity as it prompted decisive action.
      I also think it’s worth noting that Nietzsche’s incessant focus on Germans in his works like ‘beyond good and evil’ already is a blatant indicator to its role in fashioning the reich, not to mention Hitler’s obsessive compulsion towards cultivating the ‘aryan race’, or put differently, an ubermensch. The reich literally referred to certain people as ‘Untermench’ meaning underman… the connection couldn’t be any clearer in my humble opinion.
      Anyway would love to hear your response👍🏾

    I'm a religious and spiritual man, so I'm naturally against Nietzsche's philosophy and have been for a long time. What I genuinely don't understand about all these Romantic philosophers is their obsession with ancient Greece, Rome, Persia, and so on. Why can't they see that all these civilizations broke down over time, thus ultimately rendering the short durations of their prime meaningless? The only reason why America is falling today, is because it soared earlier. In other words, the reason why we are suffering today is because our ancestors possessed a "will to power".
    I genuinely believe that in order to find happiness one has to equalize the ups and downs of life until its frequency cannot be heard anymore. The challenge lies in doing this without physically ending your life, anyone could do that easily. But to drown out the volume of life completely and sink into your inner depth, to become a master over all your useless desires, that is truly terrifying. That is truly powerful. And what's more, eternal.

    When you climb to the top of a mountain and through the spirit of vitalism reach that “goal”. What do you do then? You come back down. Much of this is injunction by imagery of ideas, with nebulous aim, the kind that taunted me as a younger man.
    This dialogue concerning Nietzsche is not bad, it’s not even wrong, it’s just a view, heavily leaning on Plato’s lament. Nietzsche was not a fan of Plato or of prescription by historicism which this dialogue reproduces. Every society is in ‘decline’ from a pure form where it only exists in the imagination. If evident decline of the society in which we are immersed in (like it or not) produces, in the ‘self’, an abandonment in purpose, meaning, self esteem and hedonistic escapism, this ‘degeneration’ is not “Nihilism”. To make Nihilism a degenerate state is a folly that closes down one’s view, either in the foothills or the mountain peaks.
    In defence of real Nihilism I see it as a useful ‘philosophical’ perspective and a product of Relativism. Like all perspectives it has its dangers as does Relativism, Historicism, Epistemological assays, Metaphysics of forms, Linguistics,existentialism Ontological constructs etc. The purpose of Nihilism is to stand beside acquired ideals, virtues, concerns, values, priorities etc and examine them. It is the opposite of abandonment. Like any perspective it is not a dwelling place and like any view it changes. “Fleeting happiness” is not a ‘symptom’ of nihilism, happiness is fleeting in ‘essence’! It has to be, without its opposite happiness would not exist. Neither is happiness a destination. It is an artefact of the journey.
    The sunlit uplands are an insubstantial ideal the purpose of which is to provide a ‘journey’ which is the Real.
    Appeals to the image of perfect societies are appeals to sunlit uplands and an abandonment of the real. This whole post does not really understand Nietzsche, and this posts diagnosis’ prescriptions in many ways contradict his philosophy. After all he found Dionysus far more important than Plato, who he said again and again was harmful.
    Our civilisation appear to be in decline and if it is Nietzsche blamed its dependence on Plato the midwife of its authoritarian theology. In this day we worship an ersatz theology, which is also faith based and a psycho/social construct called Humanity. The individual’s civilisation, our present civilisation will always appear to be in decline because of our “false idols”* (*tautology warning). This is why nihilism maybe a useful tool to see a Nietzsche-ian reality?
