I have this one arriving tomorrow to compare with another one that I recently purchased. I found running USB-C to my Alienware having some major issues with the current one. Hopefully this one won't be as fickle. I have heard, though, that the control dial is very fragile and can break if not protected well during transport.
@@NANA-gy7yx I ended up sending this one back to Amazon. I kept the other one, which is the EVICIV one on Amazon. Same specs as the UPERFECT. The EVICIV is brighter, has no connectivity issues, and the controls use buttons rather than the flimsy dial. The build quality is better than the version of the K118 that I received. I hear that there is an updated version though. Unfortunately, my K118 wasn't that good.
I just have one USB-C connector on my laptop and use it at home and office with a USB-C dock for charging en two monitors. I was wondering if this monitor also support Power Delivery through the USB-C to my laptop when I connect my laptop charger to the other USB-C port of the monitor. Can you test that for me?
I'm currently looking out for a portable display to upgrade from an Asus xg17 240hz, 3ms response time portable gaming monitor. I have been waiting for almost 2 years now and still nothing, because companies these days are selling the better specced out gaming monitors that are not portable. I'm sticking with a portable due to air travel.
None yet, not at 240hz, but going with one of the newer panels is definitely going to give you better colors. I had that monitor for a few weeks and returned due to low brightness and poor colors. My uperfect looks MUCH better even only at 165hz
He explains in the video how to check if that's possible with your computer because it isn't a universal feature. You also need to ensure you use the correct type C cable that is capable of video and power pass through.
I have the newer model thsts supposed to be even 400 nits, but it's still quite dark. Really all these Uperfect portable monitors are rejected panels from laptop production.
$270 is a bit much and that's the on sale price.

Been two months now, how is it?

Look for Asus strix portable monitor it has 240hz
needs to be a 4k touch screen battery powered and im SOLD. id pay up to 400 for that.
will this monitor work on a pc when you connect it with just using the usb type c to type c cable?

So 2k is like 1080p? I like the idea but that feels low res compared to my laptops
2K is 2,560 x 1,440 pixels or 1440p
Great review man
I appreciate it!
Very low brightness and even with bidirectional certified DP to USB C cable the VRR/Freesync is not working
That’s my concern at 300 nits, how bad is it?

@@lllongreen Thanks for the response, I’m still looking for a decent option
Uperfect just released a 500 nits oled at 120hz for 250. Honestly pretty good price@joncruz
