That is an OLD Eflite bird. It’s one of the first EPS foam models they made. Originally it was a brushed/gearbox model that ran on NiMH batteries. Definitely a classic. Probably 15 years old now? At least!
1968Flying Freewing does make incredible EDF Jets. There’s a few FMS/Eflite models that are worth a look, but basically everything Freewing makes is very nice.
Bryce H, they are very similar. On the P-80 the tip tanks hung under the wingtips rather than being integrated into the wing. They were removable as well, where the T-33 they were permanently attached. The P-80 also had hard points for armament, while the T-33 was only a trainer. Lastly, the P-80 was single seat while the T-33 was dual seat. There are some differences but the airframe is generally the same.
hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyking-large-size-heavy-duty-model-stand.html I used 2 foot of all-thread inside the plane stand support connecting rods to hold it together. Drill small holes in the ends and use wing nuts to fasten it. Works great and you can disassemble to very easily if needed. If you don't fasten it the supports will not be stable and could fall out and collapse. Easy fix for a great stand. Hope this helps.
Please tell me where the P-47 in the background came from? My fave scheme.

Are the P-80 and T-33 the same jet?

Love mine
Can anyone tell me where this flight stand can be purchased. Have 2 of the Ernst and an old crappy Robart Super Stand which are terrible.

Great review. Can we install AS3X in this plane ?
Absolutely. With an AR637T / AR631 you would be all set.
