I bought a dragster200 in March last year, and the current position is 7200 miles. I replaced a part when it was damaged, which caused the engine to overheat (the coolant could not circulate), and now there is a small amount of oil leakage in the cylinder head. Overall, I am very satisfied
I got #159E and my friend got#160E I agree I expected more from the engine. I did 9 countries around Europe clocking 3600 miles. Changed the oil 3 times and averaged 97mpg! I’ve fitted a side stand. It turned heads all over Northern Europe love it.
Not surprised the engine feels a bit tame with only 17bhp! The old 2-stroke Dragster 180 had more power, less weight and was easier to tune. Italjet also used to do a 4-stroke 250 with 21bhp. And with such a sporty look, the 125 version should have the full 15bhp allowed rather than only 12. I would've like more explanation of the hub centre steering - it actually looks quite a lot different from that of the original Dragsters - sounds as if it works better too.
I've recently got the 200 myself. I opted for the Akro exhaust system and the Malossi Delta clutch and variator kit. Feel nice and snappy, definitely 70+. I'm around 6 foot tall and find it comfortable, as you mentioned, if you're on the tall side then definitely go try one on, body proportions can make a lot of difference. Later down the line I'll be adding the Malossi 205 kit (For giggles) but overall, I love my 200 Dragster :D
All bark and no bite. I remember the mad strokers from years ago now they had character! Think the scooter boys used to put big bore kits and expansion chambers on them and even fit them to old Lambrettas
I'm looking forward to the forthcoming 300cc version. It should have a lot more go. If the 200cc one was a genuine 200 and not 181cc, it would be zippier. Let's hope the 300cc version isn't a glorified 265 or something. If it goes well, I may get a 300. It could do with 14'' wheels, though. My Aerox 155 has them.
@ any sport bike. However my budget now is to buy a smart as I’ve two Mercedes ml suvs and they’re too big for city and also both petrol. So I’m kinda stuck now for buying a bike unfortunately
Malossi/akrapovic have been working with italjet and have lots of mods available for the dragster already and fitting them won’t void any warranty or cause issues as they worked directly together 👍🏻
Rubbish, it does not have the possibility of taking another person, nor does it carry under the seat and its price is too expensive and it also spends a lot of gasoline for such a small engine, what has been said is rubbish.
What do you think of the NEW Dragster - would you buy one?
Let us know in the comments.

You can fit 2 stroke pipes on these. Pm tuning have fitted one. Put a malossi variator kit and adjustable clutch and they go pretty well.
They’ve even made a 500 version now. Just announced at EICMA, but with normal steering
Bro I got a 2002 aprilia sr50 with mods and it appears to be way quicker than this dragster on video atleast

Fingers crossed!
@@BikeMatters The 300 will have the same 286cc engine as the Vespa. Googled it.
@@1990-t1jslow engine as well
Coming to the States now!!!!!
Hopefully they make a Rear Rack!
looking at this awesome scooter i miss old ducati monster :(
On looks alone I'd rather have my old 125 Dragster - I fitted a sports pipe and it was no slouch, touched 70 many times.
i wish i have that one also . love that bike
How does it compare to the benchmark, Honda adv 150?
We don't have the ADV 150 over here. Sadly it doesn't seem much different engine wise than PCX, Nmax, Medley and SR GT imo
Bro you need to add the aftermarket parts available from Malossi which will increase the performance
What engine does this have? Is it a Piaggio engine?
No its a chunk of Chinese shite i believe
Just bought 2, one for the wife 👌🇦🇺
Do a review for me please
Love this scooter
Reg check shows that’s a 125 ?
Sorry.. but I just can’t get my hand around why you would ever choose this over a normal 125 scooter that cost less than half as much..
Is it just me, or is no sound?
Only u

@@JDMz Thanks for replying. It did sort itself out in the end.
I stopped at 4 stroke
They should have gone with a 200cc two stroke ditech engine!
Used to be mad about scooters. Fuck that never again. If I ever was to buy a two wheeler again it will be 600cc bike
What 600 have you got your eye on?

Beautiful looking, great as a show piece, not practical for the uk weather..
Rather have my old 180 runner back, looks good but if nobody starts bringing tuning goodies out it will be a flop.

@@garethkimbley-brown9646 it'll only void the warranty if that performance part causes damage. Confirmed by italjet, pm tuning and malossi.
So sad. Two stokes where so exiting. The moped scene is dead now
Malossi cvt + akra exhuast
Jól néz ki de nincs benne kakaó.
Régi 180 2t tudott rendesen menni. Kb ez felér a régi 125 2t hez talán.
I’m 125 will get top speed of 74 mph
I've had a good few 125 scooters hit the same top speed, or even more. So its a shame the Dragster isn't doing better in that regard.
Too much money for what it is
A small scooter
For that price I buy a big bike
Won’t be a decent big bike,add another 10k!
Still a scoot coot innit
Overpriced and slow. Not worth the money…….
So stylish but a sheep in wolfs clothing.
A 49cc 2T scooter with a big bore makes more power. That is really pathetic.
Volume +++++++, Volume ------------, volume +++++++, volume ---------.. over and over.
