Completely different to everything else out there and I think it's a marmite bike people are either going to love it or hate it. Me personally think it looks amazing and would definitely be tempted to have one
Please make sure that the limited edition comes with the quick shifter already on board. Nowadays a blipper is state of the art specially for a such rare limited bike. Thank you very much ✊🥳
Hi, I was wondering how is the heat managed as the engine and exhaust sits directly under the seat? i must say i love the design idea with looks and spec package!
What I bike or scooter I guess you would call it a hybrid?? Well done to italijet for thinking out side the box giving options and expanding their range
Scooters have an un-sprung, enclosed engine and transmission in one unit. This has a swing arm and an external chain final drive, so it's definitely a motorcycle.
That definition of a scooter may have been valid before, but not for a long time. Most large scooters do not have an unsprung engine, like the T-Max for example. But it's still a scooter. Scooters, unlike motorcycles, have most of the mass distributed on the rear axle and this is the main reason for their inferiority in terms of handling compared to a motorcycle.
@@ivicastanic3605 Playing devil’s advocate here: the Derbi GP1 had a separate swingarm, was chain-driven, and is still considered a scooter. For clarity, I’m not saying it is a scooter, in the video, I made it clear that it’s up to the owners to decide how they see it. That said, I tend to disagree with those who flat-out reject the idea that others might view it as a scooter. It’s an interesting discussion, and there’s room for interpretation on both sides.
How long until someone decides to go after Aprilia's crown and release a 1000cc maxi scooter? It's only 300cc up from this or 166cc from the Aprilia GP800 from the late 2000's which at 834cc, is the largest displacement scooter ever produced.
@@simonhar123 The SRV featured fully enclosed fairings and a wash of plastic, including around the handlebars, unlike the Dragster’s exposed trellis frame and open bars. While the SRV was a decent-looking machine in its time, it hasn’t aged particularly well, and stylistically, it’s nothing like the Dragster. Admittedly, I’m biased, but I believe that when the Dragster 700 reaches the same age as the SRV, it will have aged far better and still maintain its striking and distinctive look.
@PEACEPISTONS I have a dragster 200 and the Srv850 and have ordered the 6th dragster 700...To be honest the srv850 is a bit big and heavy and I think 500 to 700cc in a scooter is the most you ever need.My srv was one of the first and did not have abs which I think would really help.

Quick shift will not be standard equipment but we may add it as an optional extra in the future
Look forward to the new model Speedster 200 video too

I think people will love this bike if it’s reasonably priced and provides good after sales support. Otherwise, it will be another expensive toy.
