I use a belt sander rubber cleaning block or the bottom of an old tennis shoe to clean those burrs.. when the burrs load up run them against the rubber cleaning block or an old tennis shoe... works great to clean the burrs quickly . If you go too long before using the block or shoe, then you will have to burn it off..but the rubber will save ya a good bit of time..

    Yup🤓👍
Just learning myself and wow man you got skills and such talent.
Appreciate the help on tools not many places to buy chainsaw parts with ease locally. I would like to get an Echo and try some of the bits. Just using a chainsaw now. Thanks bro

    Stihl... Echo.
Timber sports and carving have fuckall to do with each other.
Im a log home/cabin... full scribe... log crafter. Log crafting and carving also have fuckall to do with each other...
But, when youve been around the block enough... you realize where saws belong and where they dont... no matter which brand.
No matter what aspect of which art you gravitate to, it all starts with falling timber... which is where it all started for myself personally... with old Homelites and Macs in the late 1980's. Lets start a trend called 'vintage chainsaw carving and logging sports' Lol... ill dust off all my old shelf saws. Anyway... love your content, Ryan... keep on keeping on.

Where do I find a box like those? I Dremel and carve outside often and carry my stuff from the garage to the back yard to work.

What you said about Stihl not giving a damn about carvers really rang true with me. Been carving for a few years and I’m learning as I go, trial and error. I have to deal with Ace Hardware in my area because they are the authorized dealer. They never have a tech or the one they have is a inexperienced novice and has little to no clue about chainsaws and less about the carving side. I’m going to look into echo in my area. It’s about time for a new saw that I can actually get parts that I need for it.

Fantastic information Ryan. Bigger range in saber compared to kutzall. Don't know whether I can get saber in Australia. Maybe from the east coast but not in the west where I am. Thanks for giving you time to help new carvers like me.
