Thanks guys - your enthusiasm is infectious. I too have gotten the betta bug recently. I didn't do my homework before getting one and started out with a 1 gallon for my female betta with built in sponge filter. I then did some homework and got a heater. The tank was just too small, so upgraded to 2.5. Well - I realized that that was too small and now have a 6.5 planted tank that I am cycling. I'm in my 2nd week of cycling and it will probably take another 3-4 weeks to complete. In the meantime my poor little girl is in a 2.5 gallon tank with heater, sponge filter, and some plants and a betta hammock. I have a variety of foods like daphnia, blood worms, brine shrimp, 'bug bites', and if I am able to kill a fruit fly or get a mosquito out of the bird bath, I feed her live or freshly killed insects when I can. I still only have the one female betta because I don't think I could handle getting a bigger tank to accommodate more females. I want her to have a good home and thrive.
the long finned male bettas need atleast 5 gallons. 10 recommended. long finn3d male bettas like the delta tail, halfmoon and such. and before breeding you need to have all the proper equipment first like a minimum 10 gallon breeding tank, a sponge filter and airpump, heater, proper water parameters for breeding and raising fry, live food for the frys, 1 gallon jars to separate the males when they grow up. but before all that you have to ready the male and female for breeding. fatten them up by feeding them proteins like bloodworms. they have to be in proper health and in mating mood before breeding because they can both die from exhaustion. also you need medicine coz there would be fin nipping while breeding, you need a separate quarantine tank for that.
algerome28 yup! Upgrading there tanks very soon! And yes we have all of that! We are going to be feeding them blood worms and such now to get them nice and healthy! Getting everything prepared👍🏻
Also remember it's much more than matching the colours and fintype. You should prior a good body and fins over colours, always!! If you breed fins like hm, delta and superdelta you should make sure it got as few rays as possible. If you don't know how to count that you probably shouldn't breed tbh. Rosetail is pretty but unhealthy
Oh my god. This is cruelty. You put them in 0.7 gal tanks! And after the rocks went in it would have averaged around 0.5 gal! The MINIMUM for a betta to THRIVE is 2.5 gal, with 5 gal and up recommended. "we did our research" my a*s. Also, you even said in the video when picking out the tiny tanks that "all that matters is that they are happy". They cant be happy with those tanks with no filter and no cover to hide in. Ill let you pass with not giving them heaters since im pretty sure you said that you live in Florida. But seriously, spend 50 dollars to buy 2 5 gal starter tanks with heaters and filters and buy them some plant decor so they can hide. Your fish will be so much happier and most likely live much longer.
Not true. What they need is CLEAN WATER. Keep their water clean and give them some enrichment and they thrive. Yes. Larger is better. But don't let your emotions get the better of you. Some of the best, most beautiful bettas in the world were raised in half gallon jars. How do you think they keep those gorgeous Thai fish on Aquabid? And they are healthy enough to come halfway across the world.
La Bella they still need larger habitats than that. A fish may be very healthy but not thriving in a tiny tank like that. Think about where they live in the wild, free to roam in absolutely huge spaces of water compared to the tanks we give them.
Slide POV 2 Gallon is still very small for any fish. Just think of where they live in the wild. You should upgrade your betta when ever you can to a 5 gallon and it would be happier with much more room to swim.
@@labella9291 you clearly have no idea about fish small glass jars are cruel and stunt fish growth also means the fish can swim far give a beta as much room as you can also lots of live plant to sleep on any thing less than 5g is just cruel
You are doing so many wrong things The tanks are too small When the babies hatch where do you put them ?they need seperate tanks each They should have at least 5 gallon tanks Did you get any food for them or plants or filters in the tank You should breed like to like Dumbos ears to dumbo ears Veil tail to veil tail etc Put a barrier between the tanks
Ps i am not trying to be a bitch but if you are gonna do this get set up right They have the dollar a gallon sales so at 5$ a tank for 5 gallon tanks its a good investment So ypu could have gotten 6 tanks 5$each for what you paid for 2 little tanks
Anibelle 11 Yes, it is. They may live in rice patties, and their may be droughts in the wild, but rice patties usually cover up a lot of space. They can also jump between them.
Minimum is 1g ONLY for expert betta keepers who are willing to put extra work into taking care of the betta. For beginners then its 5g and advanced keepers 2-3 gallons.
esther understandable. However, I always wash my hands and rinse them thoroughly. I feel as though hands might be scary, but no scarier than a net. Also their fins can get torn and their bodies get caught in the net. I think getting trapped in a net is way more stressful than a gentle hand.
@@caracoats6742 yes. You should wash your hand and be very gentle so you are doing it right but in the video, he might've washed his hands. We'll never know but in my opinion, he looked a little rough when he was transferring the fish. That's just what I see though.
You can give them Hikari First Bites, as long as you have Baby Brine shrimp as well. My fry always did well with that combo and would eat the powdered food.
You can breed different fins but I wouldnt recommend it for a first time. It's more if you have a vision infront of you and want to reach that. Which usually takes many gens
They are of the same genus, meaning they can breed, it's not even considered crossing when they have been already crossed for generations to to have so many said appearances. A reason why breeding petstore bettas can be tricky, you can have 2 Crowntails and still manage to come out with some other tail type. A reason why breeders prefer breeding quality which are more expensive.
Ummm... I don’t think it matters what type they are. I have a female koi and a male halfmoon and I’m planning on breeding them. Ant they are in separate tanks, but can still see each other, and they look like they like each other
Make sure to acclimate Upgrade to a bigger tank (minimum is 2.5 but you could always buy a single 10 and divide it but it'd be best to get two tanks) And get a filter and heater 🙂
You say you do your research but you clearly didn’t they need 2.5 gallons minimal but to me that’s still too small because once you add rocks and a decor so3 gallons is what I remained they need a filter and they were flaring at each outher because they don’t like each other you should have divided ed that 10 gallon tank that the other one was in so that I’ll have 3.3 gallons in a be one tank great idea
Please do not try to crossbreed those two bettas! U might not get Super healthy baby’s. But you can try! And also get a bigger tank for the female too! Edit: other than that I really love this betta series keep it up!
I have 18 bettas in total but haven't bred them because I don't have my full time for them due to my work schedule. Giving all your time when breeding a betta is very important.
I second one this, took me nearly a year before I tried my breeding. And it really takes time and preparation. Schedule wise I might delay my 4th breeding project (2nd project using my crowntail I bred). Nevertheless, it is a learning thing caring for them each day and breeding and tons of preparation as well. My only luck is I am from the Philippines and do not need too much issues with heater and stuff.
I recommend buying breeder bettas from local breeders or online so you dont possibly breed problems (which come with pet store bettas a lot). Also, if you join betta fish groups then you can find a bunch of great advice and help.
The fish will not be happy in a small tank. You are better off using a shallow 3$ tote to breed your betta's in. Breeding them isn't easy. The 2 you want to breed might not at all.
Okay I’m no expert, but I know that you should at least have a heater, and a 3 gallon tank, or even bigger! You should also acclimate the fish to the different temperature before just throwing them in! One gallon tank! That shits crazy it’s no better than the cup they came in! I’m a little in between with the filter thing though, my policy is that as long as you make sure to change the water frequently to avoid too much ammonia in the water it should be okay, but if you have a filter that’s also great as long as you cycled it. Shouldn’t there also be some live plants in there and places for them to hide?
Make sure to do a bunch of research before breeding them! Especially having things to take care of the babies afterwards! Such as brine shrimp and then jars for the jarring stage! Some good channels to check out are simply Betta, creative pet keeping, and lifewithpets! All good channels who have bred Bettas and are very informative. The tanks you got for them are quite small but with frequent water changes they should be fine (since you also have a heater and filter). But a note for the future, the minimum permanent tank for a Betta is 2.5 gallons, 5 is ideal! Also you’ll probably be best to wait a little bit before breeding, especially just to be sure they aren’t sick! (Also have fun watching the white one change color, they very rarely stay white as they are in the store as stress changes their color!) but seriously, good luck!!
Erin Lynn Thank you so much for the tips and support! Definitely going to be doing a lot of research before we start breeding! And yes the tanks are very temporary! Upgrading them very soon!👍🏻
Barbs Buzzin nice! Good luck! Bettas are the best fish and unfortunately a lot of people don’t treat them very well, it’s always nice to see someone really trying!
You picked out very beautiful fish! I've been keeping and breeding bettas for 13 years 😅 As you saw in some other comments, they do need bigger homes. Cramping bettas in too small of a tank can cause fin rot and other bacterial infections (bigger tanks are easier to maintain!!) Also they need decoration and places to hide, filters are a 100% must, and a heater helps alot. Bettas are tropical and need their water to be between 74-81°F Do as much research as possible before breeding or it can go terribly wrong. Breeding can be very complicated and fry can be very hard to care for when you are unprepared. Im looking forward to seeing updates on these two!🐟🐠🐡
Singing fish collection Well.... Yeah.... Poor fish..... But at least they aren’t stuck in vases with people thinking that they can just eat plant roots and survive!
You’re supposed to have money to take care of animal and no matter the price. You need a proper tank regardless. If it doesn’t fit your pocket then don’t even bother to breed them. No hate just criticism. I love your channel and I don’t want you getting attacked by other people.
Get two 5 gallon tanks two ten gallon takes separate five gallon takes for the Bettas one of the 10 gallons for breeding and one for the hatched babies and when you move them use a net
You don't need a 10 gallons tank for breeding. A styrofoam box box or round container will do. ua-cam.com/video/8NGuO0_HMOc/v-deo.html This how we breed in asia and also one of a famous thai breeder interview video. ua-cam.com/video/pBhNg-3XTO8/v-deo.html
If I were you, don’t breed them until you do some more research. The ezcare tanks are great at hospital tanks or holding tanks, that’s what I use them for because they have the handy back for easy water changes. But it’s not good for a active healthy betta. Trust me, I made the same mistake when I first started the betta hobby. Each betta needs at least 2.5 gallons, including lots of plants, a heater, and a filter. And if you plan on breeding them, the tank should be at least 10 gallons and covered top to bottom with plants and ornaments. As they breed you need to watch them the whole time because Bettas are very aggressive and can decide to fight to the death at any given time. Also be aware that breeding your bettas, may result in one of the pair dying, and if they live it usually stortens their life span. I’m so attached to all of my bettas, I did soooo much research because I was thinking about breeding, but in the end I just didn’t have the time nor did I want to take the risks. Breeding bettas and then raising fry is a full time job.
lets buy the smallest tank we can and then put useless plastic decoration inside! For 30 you could get a bigger tank and put the females together (well. At least 50 lt and 5-6 females)
Ayaan Khagan more than them. I know a betta needs a 2.5 gal tank AT ABSOLUTE MINIMUM. And that a 5 gal is the most recognized standard. I know to feed bettas multiple types of food so they don’t get sick of the same old food. I know that bettas need to be entertained. I know that before you even consider buying a fish you need to understand the nitrogen cycle. I know a lot about fish because I actually care about them. What do you know about fish keeping Ayaan Khagan?
@@alissacambel1661 Well seeing as I've been keeping fish for 90% of my life I'd say I know a lot. I currently just have four tanks which have a bunch of different species. My 75g is an African Cichlid and community tank and my 50g is a Piranha tank although I need a tank since my two Piranhas have grown a lot. My two other tanks are smaller and one is fully planted with nerite snails and a dwarf flame gourami and a few flower shrimp. My 20g is a brackish tank with nothing in it currently since I'm saving up to stock it with fish. I have recently started getting into aquascaping so I will be getting more tanks in the near future.
1: those tanks are way to small ( they need to be at least 2.5 gallons) 2: betas are not a good first fish. You need to do a lot of research before you get one and you need the right Equipment e.g. filter, heater, water conditioner, 2.5 gallon tank, plants, food, aquarium salt, hp teaser
@@uf3277 They are beginner fish if you're not breeding them. When breeding, they require lots of attention and care. Even then, people screw up keeping betta with too small of a tank and some even just leave them in vases with a plant thinking that they can just feed off of the plant. They are hardy fish but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do your research. I do agree that there are other fish who need more attention but that doesn't mean you should just neglect to do research on them.
I think these guys are learning as they go along and that is okay. One of the best ways of learning is through experience. The fact that they are listening to the helpful advice given to them is great. It makes me so happy to see these two guys love bettas so much, they clearly do, there is no denying that. They kind of remind me of Brian, but with fish instead of snakes. They said that they are definitely upgrading to bigger tanks. You also can’t say they haven’t done research because they may have, but it was just false information and if you are not familiar with a topic then it is hard to tell what info is correct or not. Just wanted to throw this out there, you guys are slapping them in the face with the same comments continuously. If you saw that someone already said what you want to say then they did all of the work for you. I have tons of experience in all of this and I had to start somewhere, they do too.
I love watching your videos. You guys have such good energy and a total love for fish too. I have a male veiltail betta named Normie. He was so happy when I finally upgraded his home to a 3 gallon heated and filtered tank. People kept telling me that he would be, but when you see for yourself how ecstatic they get.. It's so awesome! He's supper active now and friendly. I love him enough to keep the little guy as happy as I can. Good luck on all your fishkeeping and breeding endeavours!
I kind of agree, but don't forget that its always healthy for you to strive to be a better version of yourself. That includes striving to be a better pet owner ☺ I think that as long as your trying your best for a pet, and you don't get a pet when you know you can't handle it, you're doing alright in my book.
The bettas in our store never look this good this store clearly takes great care of their bettas ...please give them more than 1 gallon they need space to live and thrive ...as an owner of 6 bettas i reccomend you give them at least 2....... ..2 1/2gallons if you can as well as filtration system in order to give them the best chance at life ...they may be fine for now but you want to think about long term for and give these precious creatures a long healthy life
@@The_FishGuys Just Don't Forgot After They Successfully Breed Move The Female Out,And After The Fry Can Swim By Them Self Remove The Male And Don't Forgot Betta Fry Can Only Use Sponge Filter
I'm glad you guys have upgraded now (I guess) I think the most relevent points on the subject have been discussed but really dislike the small plastic tubs with bettas in them in the shop where people can drop them, shake them etc and with so many! They should be better protected in temporary small secure fishtanks like a petshop I know here in the UK which also has the industrial filtration going. The tanks are all built into a big unit, they are not going anywhere.
All I got to say is good luck gentlemen breeding bettas it is the hardest thing my nephew ever got me enrolled in ever. You need lots of tanks lots of filtration almond leaves and a Keen eye to watch your mail and your female to see when they're ready and when they're done. Like I said up above good luck.
idk if anyone mentioned this but you need to put the fish while they’re in the store bought containers into the water to accommodate them to the temperature, bc they can go into shock when you just move them straight into the new tank
Your petco is amazing! I seen a marimo mossball and I can’t find one! The betas are also beautiful fish excellent, but I think you need a lil bigger tank.
I have betta fish also and the one thing I do is have a tank with a heater, filter, and air bubbler. You also need plants and something for it to hide in. They need a water temp of 78 degree to stay healthy. To properly acclimate you need to bob the fish in water with a ziplock bag and slowly for at least an hour drip a little bit of the tank water into their bag.
I just started getting into Bettas. Been researching them for a like, 2 months? And started a 5 gallon for my male about 3 weeks ago, cycled the tank for 2 weeks and he's finally in!! I plan on starting a 20 gallon as soon as I have extra cash for a Betta sorority. Definitely the best way to keep females!!
I don't mean to sound like everyone else, and it's not that the fish can't live in a 1 gallon, but, there are better ways, ya know? It should be 3-5 gallons at least, and you need to cycle the tanks for a couple weeks if it has a filter. If they don't have a filter, they need one. Bettas can survive in harsh conditions, but that doesn't mean they should. Plus, they should have lots of plants and stuff to hide in.
I really, really, really think you guys are great ppl, and I really like you guys... but... as going along with all the comments... I have to agree, your tank is way too small! The super bright gravel can sometimes stress out fish, and you need at least 2 decorations for the fish! Betty’s have personalities unlike some other fish! They like to play and hide! Maybe you could just upgrade you beta tanks to 2.5 gallon tanks? Add more natural colored gravel, OR get sand instead so you can plant live plants! Also some little hideaways would be really nice for your fish! After that upgrade, your bettas gotta be happy! No hate, I’m just trying to ensure that your bettas live a long and happy life!
my exgf bought me a betta and a 1.5gallon tank that i kept him in for a couple months. he is now in a 10 gallon with a snail and 2 harlequin rasboras and he is much happier!

They said they'd upgrade it.
You are doing so many wrong things
The tanks are too small
When the babies hatch where do you put them ?they need seperate tanks each
They should have at least 5 gallon tanks
Did you get any food for them or plants or filters in the tank
You should breed like to like
Dumbos ears to dumbo ears
Veil tail to veil tail etc
Put a barrier between the tanks
Ps i am not trying to be a bitch but if you are gonna do this get set up right
They have the dollar a gallon sales so at 5$ a tank for 5 gallon tanks its a good investment
So ypu could have gotten
6 tanks 5$each for what you paid for 2 little tanks
The dollar a gallon sale does not apply to 5 gallon tanks.
Rude
@Beebo 2 i agree with you quite a bit as well
They have a barrier between the tanks
"we are going to do it smartly, and we are going to right"
"Cheaper is better"(nop)
" the fish is happy"
Lies
1g is 2 small for a betta
no
Anibelle 11
Yes, it is. They may live in rice patties, and their may be droughts in the wild, but rice patties usually cover up a lot of space. They can also jump between them.
Well it is better than the tiny cups in the fish store. LoL
@@glenntomboc1567 at least u understand me cuz I have 2 bette fish
Minimum is 1g ONLY for expert betta keepers who are willing to put extra work into taking care of the betta. For beginners then its 5g and advanced keepers 2-3 gallons.
WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING THEM AND KEEPING THEM IN A SMALL TANK
Agreed about the tanks. Why would you not touch them?
@@caracoats6742 it would scare them and the chemicals on your hands might harm them
esther understandable.
That's just what I see though.
esther agreed
You should not breed till you have fry food ready micro worms vinegar eels they don’t eat fish flakes
I was thinking the same. ua-cam.com/video/zLx00vQJFus/v-deo.html
You can also boil an egg and get the yolk as their food. It works
@@erwindannie1994 that cant be there main food
You can give them Hikari First Bites, as long as you have Baby Brine shrimp as well. My fry always did well with that combo and would eat the powdered food.
Those new fish are so stunning! The tanks look cool but they are a little to small, I’m looking forward to seeing their new tanks soon!
Bunnylover13x _ We just upgraded the males tank! Its awesome! Checkout that video👍🏻
Awesome :D
Advice: Dont breed those two. They are not the same type of bettas. You should breed the same tail types of bettas.
Great! Thank you for the tip aand support! Noted!
@@The_FishGuys yup bec.there.is only a small chance ur gonna get a good forms if u crosbreed bettas. but its up to you to try something diff.
Ant they are in separate tanks, but can still see each other, and they look like they like each other
Make sure to acclimate
Upgrade to a bigger tank (minimum is 2.5 but you could always buy a single 10 and divide it but it'd be best to get two tanks)
And get a filter and heater 🙂
You say you do your research but you clearly didn’t they need 2.5 gallons minimal but to me that’s still too small because once you add rocks and a decor so3 gallons is what I remained they need a filter and they were flaring at each outher because they don’t like each other you should have divided ed that 10 gallon tank that the other one was in so that I’ll have 3.3 gallons in a be one tank great idea
Haha You loose they are divided and cant see eachother and i am posting an update video today i just upgraded the tank!👍🏻
They had a divider it was a book did you not see that
Please do not try to crossbreed those two bettas! U might not get Super healthy baby’s. But you can try! And also get a bigger tank for the female too!
Edit: other than that I really love this betta series keep it up!
Ethanfishz SG Yes we are upgrading her tank very soon! We may get a more suitable female betta for him to breed with too!
Melissa Wedin i know, we are going to breed them in a bigger tank!
I know this is a year ago but a heater might burn them
Make sure to do a bunch of research before breeding them!
Erin Lynn I agree! Fish being happy and healthy is #1 priority! Trying our best!🙂
Erin Lynn i decided to breed German blue Rams since there fry don’t really get aggressive with each other during there growth
€$#€+
So cool!
You picked out very beautiful fish! I've been keeping and breeding bettas for 13 years 😅
As you saw in some other comments, they do need bigger homes. Cramping bettas in too small of a tank can cause fin rot and other bacterial infections (bigger tanks are easier to maintain!!) Also they need decoration and places to hide, filters are a 100% must, and a heater helps alot. Bettas are tropical and need their water to be between 74-81°F
Do as much research as possible before breeding or it can go terribly wrong. Breeding can be very complicated and fry can be very hard to care for when you are unprepared.
Im looking forward to seeing updates on these two!🐟🐠🐡
Horse Topic Thank you so much for the tips! Im already starting to upgrade their homes! The video will be out tomorrow on the new tank its awesome!👍🏻
Awww, kindly consider putting them in larger tanks.
That tank is way too small

Well.... Yeah.... Poor fish..... But at least they aren’t stuck in vases with people thinking that they can just eat plant roots and survive!
Jaylen Mauk and ur ball python looks awesome, I just got mine a month ago and he is doing really well!
You’re supposed to have money to take care of animal and no matter the price. You need a proper tank regardless. If it doesn’t fit your pocket then don’t even bother to breed them. No hate just criticism. I love your channel and I don’t want you getting attacked by other people.

You don't need a 10 gallons tank for breeding. A styrofoam box box or round container will do. ua-cam.com/video/8NGuO0_HMOc/v-deo.html
This how we breed in asia and also one of a famous thai breeder interview video. ua-cam.com/video/pBhNg-3XTO8/v-deo.html
The TANK IS WAY TO SMALL
Thanks 🙏

Cara Coats u have been lining thi video to everyone
The white one is stunning. Great choice. :)
lets buy the smallest tank we can and then put useless plastic decoration inside!
For 30 you could get a bigger tank and put the females together (well. At least 50 lt and 5-6 females)
Bárbara R he didn’t even put any decor lol
Does the owner even feed them?
Nice bettas, too bad you guys haven't done your research on tank sizes.
Cycle your tanks...
Your like a couple of beginners !
Monkey Nut not even. I'm a beginner doing extensive research and I already know way more about betta care. (and I don't even have a fish yet)
@@alissacambel1661 What do you know noob?

I love bettas bro infact they're my main topic these past few days.
1: those tanks are way to small ( they need to be at least 2.5 gallons)
2: betas are not a good first fish. You need to do a lot of research before you get one and you need the right Equipment e.g. filter, heater, water conditioner, 2.5 gallon tank, plants, food, aquarium salt, hp teaser
Why is aquarium salt important for bettas?
They are beginner fish.... there are others who require more attention.
@@bunny.imdone it helps to prevent some diseases and reduce swelling if the betta is sick. Unscented/plain Epsom salt also works
Bettas are a great first fish, with all animals you just need to do your research BEFORE bringing them into your life.
The tanks are perfectly fine in my opinion
"We did our research" , smh. You need BIGGER tanks. Sksksk
It’s gonna die by the looks of your knowledge
Yes! Finally someone that loves Bettas like me.
You should name the girl Hera and the other one Zeus
I love watching your videos. You guys have such good energy and a total love for fish too. I have a male veiltail betta named Normie. He was so happy when I finally upgraded his home to a 3 gallon heated and filtered tank. People kept telling me that he would be, but when you see for yourself how ecstatic they get.. It's so awesome! He's supper active now and friendly. I love him enough to keep the little guy as happy as I can. Good luck on all your fishkeeping and breeding endeavours!
Probably a little small but better then the cups. As long as their is a heater and filter they should be fine...
Evan Sherwood yup they got both!
I kind of agree, but don't forget that its always healthy for you to strive to be a better version of yourself. That includes striving to be a better pet owner ☺ I think that as long as your trying your best for a pet, and you don't get a pet when you know you can't handle it, you're doing alright in my book.
The bettas in our store never look this good this store clearly takes great care of their bettas ...please give them more than 1 gallon they need space to live and thrive ...as an owner of 6 bettas i reccomend you give them at least 2....... ..2 1/2gallons if you can as well as filtration system in order to give them the best chance at life ...they may be fine for now but you want to think about long term for and give these precious creatures a long healthy life
BTW breeding is very tricky with betta fish, so be careful!

Thank your Brooke
All I got to say is good luck gentlemen breeding bettas it is the hardest thing my nephew ever got me enrolled in ever. You need lots of tanks lots of filtration almond leaves and a Keen eye to watch your mail and your female to see when they're ready and when they're done. Like I said up above good luck.
He says he did his research but those tanks combine aren’t enough for one
I love beta
What a shame for such beautiful fish
idk if anyone mentioned this but you need to put the fish while they’re in the store bought containers into the water to accommodate them to the temperature, bc they can go into shock when you just move them straight into the new tank
Your petco is amazing! I seen a marimo mossball and I can’t find one! The betas are also beautiful fish excellent, but I think you need a lil bigger tank.

What are you going to do with the fry?
The Halfmoon Double Tail Male looks so amazing 😍
They need a pump you know right?
I have betta fish also and the one thing I do is have a tank with a heater, filter, and air bubbler. You also need plants and something for it to hide in. They need a water temp of 78 degree to stay healthy. To properly acclimate you need to bob the fish in water with a ziplock bag and slowly for at least an hour drip a little bit of the tank water into their bag.
I raised my beta from the size of a pencil tip to the size of the beta fish she would buy at a store
Love what y’all did with the blue and black rocks!

I love betta fish i have 3 of my own i rescued them all and now their living a happy healthy life in their 10 gallon, 5 gallon, and 2.5 gallon tanks 😊
Betas need at least 2.5 gallons
Didn't see your comments to everyone else before hand, good luck guys!!
idk why i’m watching this channel.
i’m watching fish get abused
Wish we hat that kind of shops in Denmark. This is huge! Betta paradise
That is stupid you said you are doing it the right way and that tank is 0.75 gallons and they need a filter and a 2.5 gallon at least
that white Betta is stunning
These tanks are only slightly bigger than the cups they were in. So cruel!
