A pickle is just a cucumber that's been soaked in salt and vinegar To people only reading my top reply to OP's comment, before you reply with some unoriginal snarky remark: yes pickles are just what I have described, and a pickle would work better because it has the electrolytes that a ordinary cucumber lacks, but the guy in the video already puts salt on the cucumber at the end of the video, you get the intent of my original reply now? 🙄
Well if we get too much into the physics of it, technically yeah You just need to increase the voltage of those pins to the point that the charge density at the tip is high enough to ionise the air around and voila! (Idk if this will work I have just read this chapter I'm new to electrostatics)
@ArgirisTheG yes and no. Turning on a PC can be pressing the button on the case, which is comically easy with a cucumber. Shorting the power pins is directly turning on the motherboard, which as you can see takes a bit of doing with a cucumber. Turning on motherboard is like a subset of methods to turn on a PC. It achieves the same goal, but through a more specific, more difficult means.
It’s the same idea as deionized water not conducting electricity. The salt is able to carry the electricity through the cucumber better than the flesh can on its own.
Hi, I’m really annoyed about the fact that he did not mention the fact that salt is not only a common additive to cucumbers. It is also the one and only thing that causes water to be conductive so of course adding salt would make the cucumber conductive. Love your videos. Also, when it comes to any sort of, “can’t believe this works under mineral oil” videos it’s the same concept there’s no salt and no conductivity in the liquid. I’ve been watching the shorts on this channel for years and years, so of course keep watching. Nobody stop watching from one comment, please. Marijuana is one hell of a drug and I choose to use it every day.
I love how pc works like , oh no it's too humid I think I'll explode . And sometimes just ah yes you can cool me with Nutella and turn me on with a cheeseburger
A pickle would be more effective

Salt will make it more conductive
@@kamrynrist6049that's the point. Salt is an electrolyte aka more conductive
@@kamrynrist6049exactly.

So just put some salt on it and it’ll turn on
“Because air isn’t conducive enough we need the increase the voltage of these two pins so for that i brought a high voltage power supply”
It's possible, get a small windmill and when it spins from sir send a signal and pc is on
I gotta smoke what this guy is
??
🤔 📸
He is a human. Do with that what you will
that made no sense
the fk do you mean by that??
He turns on his computer with a pickle. He’s called Pickle PC. Most scientific shit I’ve ever seen.
Why would you do this?
Because you can, which other people would if they could, but, they can’t.

@ArgirisTheG yes and no. Turning on a PC can be pressing the button on the case, which is comically easy with a cucumber.

@ArgirisTheG Correct, thus the second paragraph I edited in after the initial post.
I got the joke, but...
Too wild\
You could use a touch button circuit and connect it to the cucumber. That way you can turn on the PC if you touch the cucumber.
just press the on button with the cucumber 😂
It’s the same idea as deionized water not conducting electricity. The salt is able to carry the electricity through the cucumber better than the flesh can on its own.
