Take special notice of how Ronnie totally avoids acknowledging Geezer for giving him the idea to use the horns. Ronnie NEVER used the horns in Rainbow like he said. That was never seen from him until Sabbath. There is actually a pic of Geez from 1971 flashing the horns sign which he said he seen Aleister Crowley do and that's how he got the idea to do it at the end of the song "Black Sabbath". Truth needs to be told.
I saw Sabbath in 1972, 75 and 77. The first time that I saw the sign of the horns was on September 26th 1980 by Ronnie James Dio during the opening song War Pigs when he sang the line Satan spreads his wings! Not one time did I see Geezer Butler use that sign during the song Black Sabbath on the three times I witnessed Sabbath in concert live previously to Ronnie James Dio joining them. I've seen the picture of Geezer using that sign in 1971 which I believe he got from John Lennon on the cover of the Beatles Yellow Submarine album cover. Geezer Butler is exaggerating the story of him using that sign live in concert anyway Ronnie James Dio made it famous.🤘
I have a couple of pics where he did in Rainbow. I love Geezer but he s becoming as cenile as Purdie saying he s recorded all the beatles drum track. Geezer had the horns in second hand from the occult. Dio had it from the source, italian background. Im also native nizzardo from Cuneese family and a bit Corsican too, in the north we do the malocchio with the hand below , i saw it too in my family. In Sicilia they do with the wrist mid way or up like Dio does . When you do it above the head, it becomes Mano Cornuto. Its when someone is cuckold ;) .
