Once i saw in Cascais Lisboa Portugal . And before he went in sage he was playing flipper balls on the back stage. Just to descomprimir. Dont know how to say it in english. It was 1980. Imagine. So good. Didnt smoke joints toguether but almost. The close we were to the stage. Good man. Rock and roll.

I was never a major Velvet Underground fan growing up in the 70's but this song and 'Sweet Nothing' had a big impact on me.
Fernando Saunders's fretless bass always made Lou Reed's music even better. Just love that sound.

This is one of Lou’s best and Quine is a big reason why on this version. He kicks ass.

Love this era of Lou Reed. Great arrangements with amazing musicians contributing to the sound. This performance along with the Ritz show in 1986 are among my favorites. His vocals are strong and concise, and the band is tight.
